Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système d'acquisition et d'authentification de document comprenant une application sur Internet qui, pour le compte de ses utilisateurs, peut automatiquement : a) collecter des documents numériques; b) créer des métadonnées descriptives standardisées apparentées à chaque document numérique; c) utiliser ces métadonnées descriptives pour organiser, trier et filtrer les documents numériques collectés; d) collecter et créer une preuve que des utilisateurs tiers peuvent utiliser pour déterminer l'authenticité de documents numériques particuliers; et e) protéger la confidentialité des utilisateurs pendant la collecte, le stockage et le partage des documents numériques. L'application sur Internet fournit aux utilisateurs des fonctionnalités comprenant une gestion d'utilisateur, une gestion de source, une acquisition de document automatique et manuelle et une gestion et un partage de document. Le système peut recevoir des documents numériques que des utilisateurs téléversent manuellement dans celui-ci et il permet à des utilisateurs d'entrer manuellement des métadonnées descriptives standardisées. Le système peut ensuite automatiquement gérer les autres fonctions pour les documents numériques.
