Abstract

  重量基準で、SiO2を2~10%,B2O3を5~45%及びLa2O3を30~60%を含む、あるいは、更にRO(R=Zn,Sr,Ba)を0~15%,Ln2O3 (Ln=Y,Gd)を0~40%及びZrO2+Nb2O5+Ta2O5を0~30%を含む基礎ガラス組成物100%に対し、波長λ1、波長λ2及び波長λ3の関係をλ1<λ2<λ3としたとき、波長λ1の光を照射したときに波長λ2の光を発生する物質Aと、波長λ1の光を照射したときに波長λ3の光を発生する物質Bを含有するとともに、物質Bは、λ1として550nm以下の波長で励起されたときに、λ3として650nm以上の波長の蛍光を発生する物質である光学ガラス。
