Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Erfassung der Drehzahl eines zwei relativ zueinander bewegliche Lagerringe (2, 3) aufweisenden Lagers (1), insbesondere eines Wälzlagers, wobei die Vorrichtung umfasst: eine Sendeeinheit (13) für elektromagnetische Strahlung, eine Empfangseinheit (14) zum Erfassen der von der Sendeeinheit (13) abgestrahlten Strahlung, und eine Markierung (6, 10), an der die von der Sendeeinheit (13) abgestrahlte Strahlung zu der Empfangseinheit (14) reflektiert wird. Die Aufgabe, eine einfache Vorrichtung zur Erfassung der Drehzahl eines Lagerrings eines Lagers anzugeben, die eine unmittelbare Aussage über die Drehzahl des Lagerrings ermöglicht und bei in Einbaustellung befindlichen Lagern nachträglich einzubauen ist, wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass die Markierung (6, 10) an einer Außenfläche (5, 9) eines der beiden Lagerringe (2, 3) angeordnet ist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiter ein Lager (1), insbesondere Wälzlager oder Gleitlager, mit zwei relativ zueinander beweglichen Lagerringen (2, 3).
