Abstract

Neues beschichtetes Leder, insbesondere Rindspaltleder, mit vorzugsweise nubukartig aussehender Oberflächenstruktur, wobei die Beschichtung mit einer mit einem mechanisch und feuchtigkeits-stabilen Polymer gebildeten Oberflächenschicht gebildet ist, welche mittels einer polymer-basierten Haftschicht an die Oberfläche des Leders oder Spaltleders gebunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die an die Oberfläche des Leders gebundene nubukartige, sich durch Innenglätte auszeichnende, mit weichem Polyurethan gebildete Außen-Schicht (4), im nicht geprägten Bereich (Bnp) zum Leder (2) hin im wesentlichen geschlossene, jedoch nach außen hin offene, weniger als 130 μm Innenweite (Iw) aufweisende, seifenschaumzellen-artig dicht an dicht aneinandergrenzend angeordnete Mikrovertiefungen (42) aufweist, und dass die Mikrovertiefungen (42) jede für sich durch dünne, nach außen hin eine matte oder feinfaserige Feinraustruktur-Oberfläche aufweisende, miteinander vernetzte Stege (43) gegeneinander begrenzt sind und eine im wesentlichen etwa halbkugelschalenartig geformte, nach außen weisende, glatte, konkave Innen-Oberfläche (421) aufweisen, wobei vorzugsweise vorgesehen ist, dass die Beschichtung (5) mehrere Schichten (3, 4) aufweist, welche mittels in Poren-verankerten Zapfen od. dgl. mit einander vernietet sind.
