Abstract

本発明の表示装置用照明装置12は、LED光源20と、前記LED光源20を複数個実装してなるLED基板21と、前記LED光源20の光出射側に配される光学部材15と、前記LED光源20を取り付けるためのシャーシ14とを備え、前記シャーシ14には、切欠部17が形成され、前記LED基板21は、前記LED光源20が前記切欠部17にから前記光学部材15側に露出した状態で、前記シャーシ14のうち前記光学部材15と対向する面とは反対側の面に取り付けられていることを特徴とする。
