Abstract

L'invention concerne un catalyseur de production d'oléfines légères, contenant une zéolite de type pentacyle. Un atome de métal alcalino-terreux et un atome d'aluminium contenus dans la zéolite de type pentacyle satisfont au rapport atomique suivant [atome de métal alcalino-terreux/atome d'aluminium] = 0,2 à 15. La valeur moyenne de la pente d'une isotherme d'adsorption pour la zéolite de type pentacyle telle que mesurée par un procédé d'adsorption d'azote est non inférieure à 30, à une pression relative comprise entre 0,2 et 0,7. Le catalyseur de production d'oléfines légères selon l'invention peut utiliser un composé organique contenant de l'oxygène comme précurseur et peut produire des oléfines légères à haut rendement par craquage catalytique de ce composé organique contenant de l'oxygène. Ce catalyseur présente également une vie catalytique prolongée et il peut ainsi prolonger la période de régénération catalytique et réduire le nombre de régénérations, ce qui améliore l'efficacité de production et réduit le coût de production.
