Abstract

Eine Hochtemperaturbatterie (1), umfassend ein Gehäuse (2) zur Aufnahme wenigstens eines Reaktanden (3, 4), wenigstens einen von dem Gehäuse (2) aufgenommenen Reaktanden (3, 4), eine positiv ladbare Elektrode (5), eine negativ ladbare Elektrode (6), soll mit einem geringen Energieaufwand schnell auf die notwendige Betriebstemperatur erwärmbar sein. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass die Hochtemperaturbatterie (1) mit einer Heizeinrichtung (8), z.B. einer Heizwendel (10), zum Erwärmen des wenigstens einen Reaktanden (3, 4) auf die Betriebstemperatur versehen ist.
