Abstract

【課題】　緻密で耐摩耗性を向上できる耐摩耗性磁器および摺動部材ならびにポンプを提供する。 　【解決手段】　実質的にアルミナ結晶粒子と粒界相とからなる耐摩耗性磁器であって、開気孔率が０．１％以下であるとともに、アルミナ結晶粒子は、粒径１０μｍ以上のアルミナ大径粒子１、粒径５μｍ以下のアルミナ小径粒子３を含有し、磁器表面におけるアルミナ大径粒子１の面積比率が３５～６５％の耐摩耗性磁器である。セラミック製部材が本発明の耐摩耗性磁器のアルミナ大径粒子表面を摺動することになり、摩耗を抑制することができるとともに、緻密質であり強度を向上できる。
