Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Aufbau einer Mobilfunkverbindung zu einem Mobilfunkendgerät (MS) innerhalb eines zellularen Mobilfunknetzes, bei dem jede Zelle des Mobilfunknetzes anhand einer Kennung identifizierbar ist und wobei mehrere Zellen einen Lokalisierungsbereich des Mobilfunknetzes bilden, wobei zur Lokalisierung des Mobilfunkendgerätes (MS) innerhalb eines Lokalisierungsbereiches in vorgebbaren zeitlichen Abständen regelmäßig Rundrufe von einer Vermittlungsstelle (MSC) ausgehend erfolgen und durch den Rundruf eine erste Mobilfunkverbindung zu dem Mobilfunkendgerät (MS) aufgebaut wird, woraufhin seitens des Mobilfunkendgerätes (MS) eine Antwortmitteilung generiert und über die bestehende erste Funkverbindung übermittelt wird, wobei bei Erhalt der Antwortmitteilung diese erste Mobilfunkverbindung zu dem Mobilfunkendgerät (MS) von der Vermittlungsstelle (MSC) für eine vorgebbare Zeitspanne gehalten wird, wobei diese zwischen der mobilen Vermittlungsstelle (MSC) und dem Mobilfunkendgerät (MS) bestehende erste Mobilfunkverbindung für den Aufbau eines Mobilfunkrufes (MTC) genutzt wird, wenn ein Rufaufbau von oder zu dem Mobilfunkendgerät (MS) innerhalb der Zeitspanne seit dem Erhalt der Antwortmitteilung ausgelöst wird
