  • This second step allows a continuous measurement of the flow rate of the molten material, without repeated and frequent perturbation actions on the casting being required.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de détermination du débit massique d'une coulée de matériau fondu, en particulier dans le procédé de production de laine de roche, qui comporte les étapes suivantes : la perturbation, par un moyen de perturbation (6), de la coulée (4) de matériau fondu tombant dans un champ gravitationnel le long d'un axe de progression (4a) ; l'acquisition, par un moyen d'acquisition vidéo (7), d'une propagation de la perturbation (P) le long de la coulée (4) de matériau fondu tombant librement ; le calcul de la vitesse de propagation (vp) de la perturbation le long de la coulée (4) de matériau fondu par un moyen de traitement de données (8) coopérant avec le moyen d'acquisition vidéo (7), et le calcul du débit (m) de la coulée (4) de matériau fondu en fonction de ladite vitesse de propagation (vp).
