Abstract

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Verfahren zur Befestigung eines Ringelementes (6) auf einem Kolben (1) für einen Verbrennungsmotor, bei dem: das Ringelement (6) über ein auf der radialen Außenfläche eines Teils (23) des Kolbenbodens (9) angebrachtes Gewinde (5) auf den Kolbengrundkörper (4) aufgeschraubt wird, in den Kolbenboden (9) im Bereich des Gewindes (5) eine nach oben offenen, umlaufenden Nut (24) eingeformt wird, die Nut (24) mit Lötmaterial (26) gefüllt wird, der Kolbens (1) erhitzt wird, bis sich das Lötmaterial (26) verflüssigt und zwischen die Gewindegänge des Gewindes (5) fließt, und anschließend der Kolben (1) abgekühlt wird. Dadurch ergibt sich eine sichere Schraubverbindung zwischen dem Kolbengrundkörper (4) und dem Ringelement (6). Weiterhin wird hierdurch der Kühlkanal (14) gegenüber den unter hohem Druck stehenden und auf den Kolbenboden (9) einwirkenden Verbrennungsgasen abgedichtet.
