Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Holzschutzmittel, die einen Gehalt an aminogruppenhaltigen polymeren Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen enthalten und bevorzugt polykationisch sind. Die erfindungsgemäße Verwendung aminogruppenhaltiger Polymere, die durch einen Gehalt an quartären Aminogruppen vorzugsweise kationisch sind, als wirksame Bestandteile von Holzschutzmitteln beruht auf der überraschenden Erkenntnis, dass diese Kombination von Eigenschaften der Polymere dem Holz einerseits fungizide Eigenschaften verleiht, andererseits, dass die Polymere dauerhaft mit dem behandelten Holz assoziiert sind, so dass deren fungizide Eigenschaften lange für das Holz zur Verfügung stehen. In einer weiteren Ausführungsform der Erfindung werden die aminogruppenhaltigen Polymere, die vorzugsweise quartäre Aminogruppen enthalten, als Haftvermittler für organische Beschichtungen, beispielsweise Lacke oder Kunststofffolien, auf Holz aufgetragen.
