Definitions
- the present invention relates to a stroller frame. It relates in particular to the field of strollers transporting a young child.
- the invention relates in particular to stroller frames known as "three-wheeled", that is to say, provided, at the front, a single wheel or a pair of twin wheels, while at the rear of the chassis, two wheels or two pairs of twin wheels, respectively on the left and right sides of the chassis, are provided separately.
- This type of stroller frame is very popular because it gives the stroller a particularly attractive overall appearance, sporty connotation, which particularly appeal to a young clientele, especially as to support the chassis on the ground in three areas forming the vertices of a triangle pointing forward gives the chassis great maneuverability.
- This type of stroller frame is well known for its good running behavior on country roads and rough terrain, especially in large cities where strollers must cross sidewalks, stairs, etc.
- this type of chassis requires, for reasons of comfort and safety, to provide that the wheels have a relatively large diameter. Under these conditions, some users renounce the purchase of this type of stroller frame as it is difficult to store and transport when the stroller is not in use, and to be loaded and unloaded transport vehicles.
- WO-A-03/097466 proposes a stroller frame, the three wheels of which can be moved from a deployed service position to a retracted storage position, but only in a successive manner is ie one wheel after another, and complicated, that is to say after several manual actions on the part of the user in several different areas of the stroller frame.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a stroller frame "three-wheel" of the type mentioned above, all wheels can be retracted quickly, simple and easy.
- the subject of the invention is a stroller frame, particularly for carrying a child, comprising:
- a specific manual drive handle for moving means arranged at the front end of the front arm.
- the idea underlying the invention is to take advantage of the particular structure of the "three-wheel" stroller frame to provide the user with a convenient control handle, specifically allowing to retract all wheels.
- the user is able to easily and quickly apply a drive effort that the moving means, integrated in the frame, mechanically transmit, in the front region of the frame, to the front wheel or twin wheels, and in the rear region of the chassis to the two rear wheels or the two sets of twin rear wheels respectively left and right.
- This handle allows the user to preferably apply an input drive torque of the displacement means, preferably with one hand.
- the mechanical nature of the arms, the moving means and the handle makes the stroller frame robust and reliable, the relative movements between the wheels and the arms being precise, fast and reproducible.
- the space requirement of the chassis is substantially reduced, both in the direction in which the wheel bodies and the chassis are then arranged in superimposed plane, and in the anteroposterior direction. of the chassis due to the forward approach of the rear wheels.
- this handle By positioning the control handle at the front end of the chassis, this handle can be entered manually by the user quickly and easily.
- This handle then forms vis-à-vis the user a reference element with regard to the mechanical positioning of the movable components of the stroller: according to the training imposed by the user to this handle, all the wheels of the stroller retract or deploy at the same time, being respectively accompanied by a "shortening" or an "elongation” of the frame, that is to say a reconciliation or a distance of the rear wheels relative to the front wheel, thanks to the action of the moving means.
- the front handle allows, when the wheels are in their retracted storage position, to raise the frame relative to the ground, for example to load it into a car trunk, or to pull it on the ground.
- the rear wheels when the wheels are in their retracted position, extend substantially in the same plane perpendicular to the median plane anteroposterh of the chassis and are able to roll on the ground in this same plane.
- the rear wheels are able to rest in line on the ground, which allows the stroller to be stabilized vertically, to be very easily towed or pushed laterally through the handle then located at the top of the frame, especially for storage in a closet or the like, in the manner of a luggage-trolley.
- the user can then control the retraction of the wheels so that the rear wheels remain in support on the ground during their retraction, while it gradually raises the frame vertically, with its front end facing the high. In this way, the retraction of the wheels automatically leads to the chassis in vertical position stable storage.

- this stroller comprises, in addition to the frame 2, a frame 4 on which is here reported and fixed a seat 6 in which the transported child sits, being noticed that, for the clarity of the drawing, the child is not represented.
- the seat 6 is replaced by a bed, to transport the child lying down, or by another similar transport element not limiting of the present invention.
- the frame 4 may have very diverse structures, including or not components articulated to each other, it being understood that each of these structures is supported by the frame 2 in an articulated and / or removable manner, in particular to end of folding and / or storage of the stroller during periods during which it is not used to transport the child.
- the following description is oriented relative to the stroller frame 2 when the latter is in its service configuration illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, so that the terms “upper” and “top” designate a direction directed to the opposite of the ground S and corresponding to the upper part of Figure 1, while the terms “lower” and “low” denote an opposite direction.
- the terms “front” and “rear” refer to the normal direction of advance of the stroller, that is to say the direction in which the stroller is normally pushed, so that the front corresponds to the right part of Figure 1 and the upper part of Figures 2 to 4.
- the terms “left” and “right” are defined relative to the forward direction of the stroller, so that they respectively designate the left and right parts of Figures 2 and 4.
- the frame 2 comprises a rigid non-articulated frame 10, which includes a single front arm 12, two left rear 14G and 14D right arm, and a central trunk 16.
- the arms 12, 14G and 14D each have a substantially tubular shape, s' extending in length generally in the antero-posterior direction of the frame 2.
- the front arm 12 is straight throughout its length, while the left rear arms 14G and 14D right converge towards each other so that that each arm is constituted of a rectilinear rear portion 14Gi, 14Di, centered on a longitudinal axis XMG-XMG, XMD-X® and extended forwards by a bent part 14G2, 14D 2 in the direction of the trunk 16.
- the left rear arm 14G and right 14D are advantageously symmetrical to each other with respect to a median vertical anteroposterior plane P of the frame 2, this plane passing through the central longitudinal axis X12-X12 of the front arm 12.
- the central trunk 16 comprises a rigid main body partially hollow, which are secured to the rear end of the front arm 12 and the respective front ends of the rear arms 14G and 14D, opening on the inside.
- the arm 12 is integral with the body of the trunk 16 while the rear arms 14G and 14D are reported and fixed to this body, with introduction of an outer cover, in particular for aesthetic purposes.
- the chassis 2 is provided with three ground support wheels, namely a front wheel 20 and two rear wheels, left 22G and 22D respectively, provided rotatably about axes of rotation.
- each of these wheels may have various embodiments, both with regard to its outer peripheral portion 20i, 22Gi, 22D 1 intended to roll on the ground, as shown in FIG. 2B.
- which may be, for example, constituted by a rubber sheath or a tire with an air chamber, as regards its discoidal central body 2O 2 , 22G 2 , 22D 2 , optionally perforated or radially, of which central geometric axis corresponds to the axis of rotation Y 20 -
- the front wheel 20 is connected to the front arm 12 by, successively, a rigid lug 30 and a mechanical joint assembly 32. More specifically, 2O 2 wheel body is rotatably mounted about the axis Y 2 2 o oY on a hub formed by a longitudinal end 3Oi of the tab 30, the latter extending lengthwise in a radial direction to this axis.
- the arm 12 is provided internally with a shaft 34 which extends over the entire length of the arm, being centered on its axis Xi2-Xi2. For reasons of mechanical strength, the outer diameter of this shaft 34 is adjusted to the diameter. inside the arm 12.
- the front end 34i of the shaft 34 is extended forwards, outside the arm 12, by a tip 36 of the hinge assembly support 32.
- the tip 36 is rigidly connected to the shaft end 34i, being integral with this end, and is shaped into a hollow sphere, truncated both on the side of which extends the lug 30 and the opposite side.
- a pivot articulation 38 between this endpiece and the end 302 of the lug 30, opposite the wheel 20: this joint 38 allows the free pivoting of the end 3O 2 relative to the tip 36 and therefore relative to the shaft 34 about an axis ZZ substantially perpendicular to the axis Xi 2 -Xi 2 .
- the tab 30 and, thereby, the front wheel 20 can pivot about the axis ZZ, the upper edge of the end 3O 2 then sliding against the underside of the tip 36, while in the longitudinal direction of the tab 30, the latter and the tip 36 are fixedly connected to each other.
- the pivot joint 38 can be neutralized in the sense that it can be mechanically locked.
- this blocking is achieved by a pin 40 able to be received in a complementary housing 42 delimited at the end 302 of the tab 30, in the upper edge of this end: as the pin 40 is outside the housing 42, as in Figure 6, the tab 30 and the tip 36 are free to rotate relative to each other about the ZZ axis while, when the pin 40 is inserted into the housing 42 as in Figure 5, the tab 30 and the tip 36 are rigidly connected to each other, so that the axis of rotation Y 20 -Y 20 then extends so orthoradial to X12-X12 axis, as in figures 1 to 4.
- the displacement of the pin 40 is controlled by a pusher finger 44, with the interposition of an overtravel spring 46 partially housed in a bushing 48 slidably mounted in the end piece 36 in the direction of movement of the pin 40.
- the pusher finger 44 is plated, opposite the pin 40, against a plate 50 fixedly secured to the end piece 36, here by screws, extending generally in its truncation plane opposite the leg 30
- the finger 44 is rigidly connected to a hubcap 52 mounted on the end piece 36 rotatably about an axis Z 52 -Z 52 both perpendicular to the plate 50 and passing through the center of the sphere formed by the tip 36.
- the user drives the finger 44 on a corresponding stroke which, because of its variable thickness in a direction peripheral to this axis, acts on the blocking pin 40 in the configuration illustrated in FIG. 5, the position of the trim 52 around the axis Z 52 -Z 52 is such that a large thickness of the finger 44 is interposed between the plate 50 and the sleeve 48, while in the configuration of Figure 6, the position of the hubcap is such that a smaller thickness of the finger 44 is interposed, a spring 54 then reminding the pin 40 in the direction opposite to the housing 42.
- this hubcap has an outer cap 52i inscribed in the spherical envelope defined by the tip 36.
- the end 302 of the lug 30 is shaped like a spherical cap inscribed in the abovementioned envelope, so that the assembly of this end 30i , the end piece 36 and the hubcap 52 gives an overall shape of a ball, with an effect of visual "signature", specific to the stroller frame 2, as clearly visible in Figure 7 in which the outer cap 52 ⁇ is shown in phantom to observe the inside of the hubcap.
- a light source is arranged between the plate and an internally perforated cap 52 2 of the hubcap 52, so as to have a warning light light.
- a warning light light is arranged between the plate and an internally perforated cap 52 2 of the hubcap 52, so as to have a warning light light.
- the tip 36 is extended, forwards, by a handle 60 rigidly connected to the tip, for example being directly integral with the tip.
- this handle 60 is in the form of a bow whose elongated main body 62 is located on the front side of the end piece 36, extending along the front end portion of the endpiece and following a generally peripheral direction to the tip, while leaving between them sufficient space for the user to introduce his fingers to enter the body 62.
- the body 62 is rigidly connected to the lateral sides of the body. endpiece 36 by tabs 64 converging towards each other in the direction of the endpiece 36.
- the bodies 22G 2 and 22D 2 of the wheels 22G and 22D are respectively connected to the rectilinear portions 14Gi and 14Di of the arms 14G and 14D according to the arrangements described below in detail for the right side of the stroller , it being understood that the arrangements on the left side are deduced by symmetry with respect to the plane P and incorporate constituents which, in the figures, in particular FIG. 10, bear the same numerical references as on the right side but followed by the letter G instead of the letter D.
- the body 22D 2 of the right wheel 22D is rotatably mounted around the Y axis 22D -Y 22D on a hub formed by a longitudinal end 70D 1 of a tab 7OD. 'hear in length in a radial direction to this axis. Its end 70D 2 opposite to the wheel body 22D 2 is, in the longitudinal direction of the tab, fixedly attached to a sheath 72D which both coaxially surrounds the straight portion 14Di of the arm 14D and extends partially projecting back of this part.
- connection between the tab 7OD and the sheath 72D is articulated around a tilting axis 74D parallel to the axis of rotation Y22D-Y22D, thus allowing the tab 7OD to be oscillating around this axis with respect to the sheath, with interposition of a viscoelastic buffer 76D for damping purposes.
- the rear wheel 22D is thus suspended relative to the frame 10 by the oscillating lug 7OD, which gives a great ride comfort to the child transported, even if the surface condition of the soil S is bad.
- This suspended structure of the rear wheels 22G and 22D also makes it possible to avoid arranging a rigid axle directly connecting these two rear wheels, across the space between the rear of the arms 14G and 14D. The adult pushing the stroller can then walk comfortably, without risk of stop during his strides.
- the sheath 72D is rigidly connected to a slide 78D arranged coaxially inside both the sheath 72D and the rectilinear portion 14D 1 .
- the sheath 72D and the slide 78D are connected to each other at their rear end.
- the slide 78D is movably mounted inside a tubular slide 8OD interposed coaxially between the slide and the rectilinear portion 14D 1 .
- the slider 78D is provided with helical outer ribs 78D 1 that wind around the longitudinal axis of the slider, while the inner face of the slider 8OD defines complementary helical grooves 80D 1 in which the ribs are received. In this way, the slide 78D is able to move inside the slide 8OD in a helical movement centered on the X axis MD -X MD -
- the control of the drive of the slide 78D with respect to the slide 8OD is provided by a pull and push rope 82D.
- the rear end of this rope 82D is provided with a small tip 82D 1 substantially spherical and thus able to freely turn on itself with the rest of the rope 82D inside a head 84D both fixed at the front end of the slide 78D and fixedly attached to the rope 82D in the longitudinal direction of this rope.
- the rope 82D extends forwardly within the arm 14D, the running portion of this rope being received in a sheath 86D wedged firmly within the arm.
- the rear end of this sheath is stuck in a fixed front end end 80D 2 of the slide 8OD, which is traversed right through by the rope 82D.
- the respective leading ends 82D 2 and 82G 2 of the ropes 82D and 82G are fixed to the same flywheel 88 rigidly connected to the rear end 34 2 of the shaft 34. More precisely , the flywheel 88 is centered on the axis Xi 2 -Xi 2 , while the rear ends 82D 2 and 82G 2 of the strings 82D and 82G are fixed in zones of the flywheel 88 diametrically opposite with respect to the axis Xi 2 - Xi 2 .
- the handle 60 controls the displacement of the wheels 20, 22G and 22D relative to the frame 10. More specifically, if we consider that the wheels are initially in their operating position of FIGS. 1 and 2, that is to say in a deployed position with respect to the frame 10, making it possible to roll them on the ground S, with their axis of rotation Y 2 o-Y 2 0, Y 22 G-Y 22 G and Y 22 D-Y 22 D all perpendicular to the plane P, the driving in self-rotation of the shaft 34 about the axis Xi 2 -X 2 by the corresponding manipulation of the handle 60 by a user gripping the body 62, as indicated by the arrow R in FIGS.
- the rotation drive of the front end 34i of the shaft 34 causes a corresponding rotation, over a 90 ° angular stroke of the end piece 36 and thereby the leg 30. and the wheel body 2O 2 .
- the wheel 20 then moves from its position of FIGS. 1 and 2 to its position of FIGS. 3 and 4, in which its axis of rotation Y 2 O -Y 2 O extends parallel to the plane P, being noted that during this retraction of the wheel, the pivot joint 38 can be blocked by the blocking pin 40 previously introduced into the housing 42, as explained above.
- the rotational drive of the rear end 34 2 of the shaft 34 causes a rotation of 90 ° about the axis Xi 2 - Xi 2 of the flywheel 88, which then passes from its position of FIG. 11 to that of FIG. 12.
- the strings 82D and 82G are then pulled on an identical stroke, causing the slides 78D and 78G to pull forward within their slide 8OD and 8OG, fixed relative to the arms 14D and 14G.
- the slides 78D and 78G describe then respective helical races, combining a translation movement forward and a rotation of 90 ° respectively about the X MD -X MD axes and X MG - X HG - II results that the rear wheels 22D and 22G pass from their position of FIGS. 1 and 2 to their retracted position of FIGS. 3 and 4, in which the axes of rotation Y22D-Y22D and Y22G-Y22G extend parallel to plane P, it being noted that the rear wheels remain symmetrical, one of the other relative to the plane P during all their retraction.
- the bodies 22D 2 and 22G 2 rear wheels 22D and 22G then extend generally in the same plane perpendicular to the plane P, allowing the rolling of the frame 2 on the ground S by rotation of the two rear wheels about their axis Y 22 D - Y22D, Y22G-Y22G- If necessary, the stroller frame 2 is then locked in this configuration by an ad hoc locking means, such as a pin.
- the stroller frame 2 is then stably movable in the manner of a luggage-trolley with its front arm 12 and the handle 60 directed upwards, so that this handle can be grasped by the user to drive on the move the stroller frame to store it vertically, by rolling it in a cupboard for example.
- the distance ⁇ between the axis of rotation Y20-Y20 of the front wheel 20 and the axis of rotation Y 22 D Y22D, Y22G-Y22G of each rear wheel 22D, 22G varies from the anteroposterior dimension of the part of the slides 78D and 78G retracted inside their corresponding slide 8OD, 8OG, which can reach in practice 40 mm. Therefore, the total anterior-posterior dimension of the stroller frame 2 is decreased by ⁇ when the wheels are retracted.
- each string 82D, 82G is advantageously constituted by a metal alloy with a shape memory, such as the alloy based on nickel and titanium, marketed by the company NIMESIS (France) so that this part rope is able to be bent or folded without damage, by elastic deformation transverse, when the user controls the retraction or deployment of the wheels while it is inadvertently prevented, for example following the wedging of a wheel against a wall.
- NIMESIS France
- FIGS. 13 and 14 show an alternative embodiment of the slides 78D and 78G and the slides 8OG and 8OD of the stroller frame 2.
- the corresponding arrangements of this variant for the left side of the stroller frame are described in detail below. 2, it being understood that the arrangements on the right side are deduced by symmetry with respect to the plane P.
- the slide 78G and the slide 8OG are replaced by a slide 78G 'and a slide 8OG', respectively.
- the arrangement, within the stroller frame 2, and the function of this slider 78G 'and this slider 8GO' are similar to the arrangement and the function of the slider 78G and the slider 8GO: in particular, the slider 78G 'is arranged co-axially inside the sheath 72G, as shown schematically in FIG. 15, being rigidly connected to this sheath 72G at their rear end, whereas the slide 8OG' is fixedly arranged at the inside of the rectilinear portion 14Gi of the arm 14G, also as shown in FIG.
- the slide 78G 'and the slide 8OG' are essentially distinguished from the slide 78G and the slide 8OG by arrangements relative to the guide of the slide 78G 'inside the slide 8OG' generally following a helical movement centered on the X axis I4G -X I4G of the 14G arm.
- the tubular wall of the slide 8OG ' is traversed, from one side, by two diametrically opposite slots 80G'i, symmetrically in relation to the axis Xi4G-Xi4G-
- Each groove 80G'i includes, along its length, a helical end portion 80G'2, centered on the axis XMG-XMG, and a rear end portion 80G ' 3 rectilinear, parallel to this axis.
- each of these grooves 80G'i receives one of the longitudinal ends of a transfixing pin 78G'i rigidly connected to the slide 78G ', extending perpendicularly to the X axis I4G- X I4G , one of the longitudinal ends of this pin 78G'i being visible in Figure 14, being referenced 78G'2.
- each groove 80G'i is adjusted to that of the ends 78G ' 2 of the pin 78G'i, so that, during the relative movement between the slide 78G' and the slide 8OG ', the corresponding movement is constituted successively by a first helical sub-movement, when the ends 78G ' 2 of the pin 78G'i traverse the helical portion 80G' 2 of the grooves 80G'i, and a second rectilinear sub-movement when the aforementioned ends traverse the rectilinear part 80G ' 3 grooves.
- this mechanical strength is reinforced by the presence, on the outer surface of the slide 78G ', of a crenellated ring 78G' 3 , comprising a plurality of axial ribs 78G ' 4 which are distributed along the outer periphery of the slide and which are shaped to be received in complementary manner in axial grooves 8OG 4 dug in the inner face of the slide 8OG ', here at the rear end of this slide.
- these ribs 78G ' 4 and these grooves 8OG 4 are gradually set in axial engagement with each other when the pin 78G'i traverses the straight portions 80G' 3 grooves 80G'i, since the front end of these straight portions towards their rear end.
- the helical portions 80G ' 2 of the grooves 80G'i are extended forward by straight groove portions, which need not be as long as the rear straight portions 80G'3 and which stabilize the relative angular position between the slide 78G 'and the slide 8OG' when the corresponding rear wheel 22G is retracted, being folded against the frame 10 as explained above.
- the resistance to the forces then applied to the stroller frame 2 and folded is improved.
- Figures 15 and 16 show another alternative embodiment of the stroller frame 2, which, apart from what has just been described with reference to Figures 13 and 14, differs from the embodiment described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 12 essentially by the structure, detailed below, means for driving the slides 78D and 78G or 78D 'and 78G' relative to their corresponding rear arm 14D and 14G, and incidentally by slight changes in the contours some components associated with these rear arms, but these slight changes do not induce significant structural and functional differences.
- FIGS. 15 and 16 provide for the use of an actuator in the form of a semi-rigid rod 82D 'or 82G', being noted that only the rod 82G 'associated with the left rear arm 14G is visible in FIGS. 15 and 16.
- the corresponding arrangements for the left side of the stroller frame 2 it being understood that the arrangements on the right side are deduced by symmetry with respect to the plane P.
- the semi-rigid rod 82G ' links the slide 78G' and the rear end 34 2 of the shaft 34 in movement.
- the rear end 82G'i of this rod is fixedly secured to a front end head 84G 'of the slide 78G', here having a bulged shape, received and restrained in a complementary housing delimited inside the head 84G '.
- the fixing of the head 84G 'relative to the slide 78G' is performed by the transfixing pin 78G'i.
- the current portion 82G '2 of the semi-rigid rod 82G' is received in a sheath 86G 'functionally similar to the sheath 86G: this sheath 86G' is thus fixedly integrated inside the arm 14G, with in particular its rear end wedged in a fixed front end piece 80G ' 5 of the slide 8OG' while this end is traversed from one side by the rod 82G '.
- the flexibility of the running rod portion 82G ' 2 is advantageously used, on the one hand, to adapt the overall longitudinal profile of the rod 82G' to the bent portion 14G 2 of the arm 14G, by bending this profile, and, d on the other hand, to support, without damage, a slight twist of the rod 82G ', linked to the helical movement of the slide 78G'. It follows from this last aspect that the mechanical connection between the rod 82G 'and the slide 78G' does not have to be as elaborate as that between the rope 82G and the slide 78G, in particular without the need for the presence of a small spherical tip provided at the rear end of this rope.
- this running portion 82G' 2 has a cross-shaped cross section and is made of a synthetic material, such as nylon.
- the front end 82G '3 of the rod 82G' is rigidly provided with an insert 82G ' 4 , for example overmolded with the front end of the rod, as shown in FIG. 16.
- this insert 82G' 4 is attached to a flywheel 88 ', arranged at the rear end 34 2 of the shaft 34 and functionally similar to the wheel 88 shown in Figures 11 and 12.
- flywheel 88 ' arranged at the rear end 34 2 of the shaft 34 and functionally similar to the wheel 88 shown in Figures 11 and 12.
- the flywheel 88 ' centered on the axis Xi 2 -Xi 2 , is provided, in diametrically opposite zones with respect to this axis, with two projecting spheres 88G'i and 88D'i, designed to be respectively received, in the manner of a ball joint, in a complementary shell 82G ' 5 carried rigidly by the insert 82G' 4 of the rear end of the left rod 82G 'or right 82D' corresponding.
- the rotation of the flywheel 88 'by the shaft 34, over a 90 ° stroke centered on the X 12 -X 12 axis, causes, according to the direction of this rotation, either the forward pulling or the backward pushing of the semi-rigid rods 82G 'and 82D' to actuate the movement of the slides 78G 'and 78D' within their slide 8OG ' and 8OD '.
- the actuating rods 82G 'and 82D' have the advantage of being standard and widely available mechanical components which support, without damage, the transmission of the forces necessary for the deployment and when retracting the rear wheels 22G and 22D.
- FIGS. 16 to 19 show another variant embodiment of the stroller frame 2, which specifically concerns the mechanical connection between the rear end 34 2 of the shaft 34 and the flywheel 88 or 88 ', this variant being applied here at the wheel 88 'and detailed and hereinafter in this context.
- a horseshoe type spring 90 is interposed between them in order to limit the torque transmitted between the flywheel 88 'and the shaft end 34 2 .
- this spring 90 is shaped to grip, centrally on the axis X 12 -X 12 , a sleeve 34 3 rigidly connected to the shaft end 34 2 and the central region 88'i of the flywheel 88 ' the stiffness of the spring 90 is dimensioned to block in rotation with each other the sleeve 34 3 and the flywheel region 88'i, around the axis X12-X12, as long as the intensity of the torque transmitted between these two parts is less than a predetermined limit value, as shown in FIG. 18.
- each wheel 20, 22D and 22G or at least one of these wheels can be equipped with a means of locking in rotation, in order to immobilize the stroller frame 2 on the ground S for parking purposes during a time ;
- the front wheel 20 and / or each of the rear wheels 22D and 22G may be replaced by a pair of twin wheels, or a pair of twin wheels;
- the lug 30 can be replaced by a fork whose two branches extend on either side of the wheel body 2O 2 ;
- the rotation of the shaft 34 by the handle 60 during the retraction or deployment of the wheels can be transmitted by appropriate arrangements to the frame 4 of the stroller, in particular to assist respectively folding and opening this frame relative to the frame; and or
- the structure of the stroller frame 2 can be reinforced by a cross rigidly connecting the rear arms 14D and 14G, in particular at their rectilinear portion 14Di and 14Gi; for example, the opposite ends of such a cross member are fixedly secured to respective fixed cowls externally covering the arm portions 14Di and 14Gi, as partially shown in FIG. 15, on which the aforesaid cross member is referenced 92.
