- Each joint 25 may be composed of a male member 26 with a first pin 27 possibly threaded, which is designed to be fitted into a corresponding transverse seat 24, with a hinge pivot 28 attached thereto, and a female member 29 designed to be attached to a door 16 or the like, and to pivotally receive the hinge pivot 28 of a corresponding male member 26, for the door 16 to pivot.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un montant standard pour la fabrication de châssis de portes et de fenêtres réversibles. Ce montant comprend un corps de forme allongée (4) définissant un axe longitudinal (L), un bord intérieur (5) et un bord extérieur (9) sensiblement parallèles à l'axe longitudinal (L) et des bords d'extrémités (6, 7) sensiblement transversaux par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (L). Les deux bords d'extrémités (6, 7) sont inclinés par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (L) selon des angles d'inclinaison (a) sensiblement identiques, l'un de ces bords inclinés (6, 7) étant conçu pour être éliminé à l'installation par un trait de scie sensiblement à angle droit par rapport à l'axe longitudinal (L) de façon à définir l'extrémité inférieure du montant, l'autre bord incliné (J, 6) étant conçu pour s'assembler au linteau (3).
