Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage monté sur et/ou dans l'œil. L'affichage monté sur l'œil contient de multiples sous-affichages, chaque affichage projetant de la lumière vers différentes positions rétiniennes dans une partie de la rétine correspondant au sous-affichage. La lumière projetée se propage par la pupille, mais ne remplit pas toute la pupille. De cette manière, de multiples sous-affichages peuvent projeter leur lumière sur la partie pertinente de la rétine. Se déplaçant de la pupille à la cornée, la projection de la pupille sur la cornée va être appelée ouverture cornéenne. La lumière projetée se propage par une ouverture inférieure à l'ouverture cornéenne totale. Les sous-affichages utilisent un multiplexage spatial sur la surface cornéenne. Divers dispositifs électroniques forment l'interface avec l'affichage monté sur l'œil.
