Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein IP-basiertes Kommunikationsverfahren für Mobilfunkgeräte. Ihm liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Datenverbindung zu einem mobilfunkfähigen Endgerät (Handy oder Funkmodem) von „außen" initiieren zu können. Dies wird erreicht durch ein Verfahren zur Einbindung von Mobilfunkgeräten (3, 3', 3") in IP-basierte Datennetze, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass a) das Mobilfunkgerät (3, 3', 3") über eine Authentifizierung eine Daten-Mobilfunkverbindung über einen Zugangspunkt zum Provider etabliert, b) dem Mobilfunkgerät (3, 3', 3") durch einen IP-Server (9, 9') anhand der Authentifizierungsdaten eine feste IP-Adresse aus dem Addressraum seiner geschlossenen Benutzergruppe zugeordnet und die Zuordnung dauerhaft gespeichert wird, c) die Daten-Mobilfunkverbindung anhand der zugeordneten IP-Adresse über ein Gateway (10, 10') des Providers mit dem IP-basierten Datennetz während der Dauer der Daten-Mobilfunkverbindung gekoppelt wird, wobei das Gateway (10, 10') mittels Routingvorschriften eine dauerhafte bidirektionale Kommunikationsverbindung zwischen dem Mobilfunkgerät (3, 3', 3") und dem IP-basierten Datennetz innerhalb des Adressraumes seiner geschlossenen Benutzergruppe vermittelt.
