Abstract

Ce silencieux (10) pour ligne d'échappement de véhicule automobile du type comprenant : une enveloppe (12) délimitant intérieurement un volume d'échappement; une entrée (16) de gaz d'échappement débouchant dans le volume d'échappement; et un conduit (18) de sortie des gaz d'échappement, communiquant avec le volume d'échappement et présentant un orifice (30) de sortie vers l'extérieur du silencieux (10), est caractérisé en ce que le conduit (18) de sortie comprend un tronçon (32) plaqué contre l'enveloppe (12), l'enveloppe (12) comprenant au moins une perforation mettant en communication le tronçon plaqué (32) avec le volume d'échappement.
