Abstract

La présente invention concerne une paire de planches flottantes qui, de manière efficace, permettent à l'utilisateur de marcher ou de courir sur l'eau. Les chaussures flottantes sont raccordées par une paire de bandes en caoutchouc et sont équipées de volets oscillants disposés sous les coques en dessous de la ligne de flottaison, de sorte que le dispositif de marche sur l’eau est propulsé mécaniquement vers l'avant par la pression alternée de l'eau contre les volets oscillants au fur et à mesure que l'utilisateur marche naturellement sur la surface de l'eau. Les chaussures flottantes, selon la présente invention, comprennent une paire de bâtons à main munis de flotteurs hydrodynamiques qui sont utilisés pour donner la direction souhaitée aux chaussures flottantes et pour procurer un meilleur équilibre à l'utilisateur. La paire de bâtons à main facilite par ailleurs la propulsion des chaussures flottantes au cours de la marche et peut également servir à bien relier la paire de planches flottantes, pour ainsi fournir une bonne stabilité si l'utilisateur choisit de monter sur le dispositif flottant dans l'eau.
