Abstract

 水ポンプが洗浄水を変動する圧力で人体洗浄ノズルに供給し、空気ポンプが空気を人体洗浄ノズルに供給する。空気ポンプから供給される空気の圧力が水ポンプから供給される洗浄水の圧力よりも高くなると、洗浄水に空気が混入される。洗浄水は人体洗浄ノズルの直線流路内で空気により分断され、分断された洗浄水は独立した水塊として孔部から断続的に噴出される。

Description

衛生洗浄装置
 本発明は、人体の局部を洗浄する衛生洗浄装置に関する。
 従来より、人体の局部を洗浄する衛生洗浄装置においては、使用者の嗜好に応じた洗浄を実現すべく各種機能が設けられている。このような衛生洗浄装置の一例として、特許文献1の人体洗浄装置を説明する。
 この人体洗浄装置においては、人体の局部の洗浄時に、水道配管を分岐して得られる水道水が接続配管を通じて熱交換器に送られ、所定の温度に加熱される。熱交換器により加熱された水道水は、人体の局部を洗浄する洗浄水としておしりホースまたはビデホースを通しておしりノズルまたはビデノズルに送られる。
 ここで、おしりホースおよびビデホースには、空気ポンプから延びる空気ホースが接続されている。おしりホースまたはビデホースの内部を洗浄水が流動する状態で空気ポンプが動作することにより、おしりホースまたはビデホースの内部に空気が供給される。これにより、おしりホースまたはビデホースの内部を流動する洗浄水に空気が混入される。空気が混入された洗浄水が、おしりノズルまたはビデノズルから人体の局部に噴出される。

 上記の人体洗浄装置は、おしりホースおよびビデホース内を流動する洗浄水の流量を調節する機能を備える。それにより、おしりノズルおよびビデノズルから噴出される洗浄水の流量を調節することができる。
 しかしながら、洗浄水の流量が多くなると、おしりホースまたはビデホース内の洗浄水の圧力が高くなる。その場合、洗浄水に流入される空気の量が減少する。それにより、おしりノズルまたはビデノズルから洗浄水を水塊として噴出することが困難となる。
 洗浄水に十分な量の空気を混入させるためには、大型の空気ポンプを用いて空気を加圧する必要がある。その場合、人体洗浄装置が大型化するとともにコストが上昇する。
 本発明の目的は、洗浄水を独立した水塊として断続的に噴出することが可能であるとともに大型化が抑制されかつ低コスト化が可能な衛生洗浄装置を提供することである。
 (1)本発明の一局面に従う衛生洗浄装置は、洗浄水を変動する圧力で供給する洗浄水供給装置と、空気を供給する空気供給装置と、噴出口を有し、洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水および空気供給装置により供給される空気を噴出口から噴出する噴出装置とを備え、噴出装置からの洗浄水の噴出期間内に少なくとも1回、噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力が噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力よりも高くなるように洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水の圧力および空気供給装置により供給される空気の圧力が設定されるものである。
 本発明の一局面に従う衛生洗浄装置においては、洗浄水が洗浄水供給装置により変動する圧力で噴出装置に供給され、空気が空気供給装置により噴出装置に供給され、供給された洗浄水および空気が噴出口から噴出される。この場合、噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力は、噴出装置からの洗浄水の噴出期間内に少なくとも1回、噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力よりも高くなる。
 噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力が噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力よりも高くなるときに、空気が洗浄水に混入される。それにより、噴出口から噴出される洗浄水が水塊として断続的に噴出される。
 洗浄水の圧力は変動しているので、洗浄水の流量が多い場合でも、空気の圧力を高めることなく、洗浄水の圧力が空気の圧力よりも低下する時点を容易に作り出すことができる。したがって、空気供給装置を大型化する必要がない。その結果、衛生洗浄装置の大型化が抑制されるとともに、低コスト化が可能となる。
 (2)噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力は、噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の最大値よりも低くなるように設定されてもよい。
 この場合、噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力を高める必要がない。そのため、空気供給装置を大型化する必要がない。その結果、衛生洗浄装置の大型化が抑制されるとともに、低コスト化が可能となる。
 (3)空気供給装置は、空気を一定の圧力で供給してもよい。この場合、噴出装置に供給される空気を噴出装置に供給される洗浄水に規則的に混入させることが可能となる。これにより、噴出装置からは洗浄水と空気とが規則的に交互に噴出される。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者は安定感の高い洗浄感を得ることができる。
 (4)空気供給装置は、空気を変動する圧力で供給してもよい。この場合、噴出装置に供給される空気を噴出装置に供給される洗浄水に不規則に混入させることが可能となる。これにより、噴出装置からは洗浄水と空気とが不規則に交互に噴出される。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者は刺激感の高い洗浄感を得ることができる。
 (5)空気供給装置は、空気を周期的に変動する圧力で加圧する空気加圧装置を含み、洗浄水供給装置は、給水源から供給される洗浄水を周期的に変動する圧力で加圧する洗浄水加圧装置を含み、噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の最大値が噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の最小値よりも高くなるように、洗浄水加圧装置により加圧される洗浄水の圧力および空気加圧装置により加圧される空気の圧力が設定されてもよい。
 この場合、噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力および噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力が周期的に変動する。また、噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力が噴出装置に供給される洗浄水よりも高くなるときに噴出装置に供給される空気が噴出装置に供給される洗浄水に混入される。
 洗浄水の周期的な圧力変動および空気の周期的な圧力変動は、洗浄水供給装置の構成および空気供給装置の構成を複雑化することなく得ることができる。そのため、衛生洗浄装置の低コスト化が可能となる。
 (6)噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の変動周波数が噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の変動周波数よりも高くなるように、洗浄水加圧装置により加圧される洗浄水の圧力および空気加圧装置により加圧される空気の圧力が設定されてもよい。
 この場合、噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の変動周波数は噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力よりも高い。そのため、より単純な構成で、噴出装置に供給される空気を噴出装置に供給される洗浄水に規則的に混入させることができる。これにより、噴出装置からは洗浄水と空気とが規則的に交互に噴出される。その結果、噴出装置から独立した水塊が規則的に噴出される。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者は安定感の高い洗浄感を得ることができる。
 (7)噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の変動周波数が噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の変動周波数よりも低くなるように、洗浄水加圧装置により加圧される洗浄水の圧力および空気加圧装置により加圧される空気の圧力が設定されてもよい。
 この場合、噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の変動周波数は噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力よりも低い。そのため、より単純な構成で、噴出装置に供給される空気を噴出装置に供給される洗浄水に不規則に混入させることができる。これにより、噴出装置からは洗浄水と空気とが不規則に交互に噴出される。その結果、噴出装置から独立した水塊が不規則に噴出される。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者は刺激感の高い洗浄感を得ることができる。
 (8)噴出装置は、洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水および空気供給装置により供給される空気を噴出口に導く流路をさらに有し、流路内を流動する洗浄水が空気により分断されるように洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水の圧力および空気供給装置により供給される空気の圧力が設定されてもよい。
 この場合、噴出装置の流路内を流動する洗浄水が空気により分断されることにより、噴出装置の噴出口から噴出される洗浄水が空気により確実に分断される。それにより、噴出口から洗浄水を独立した水塊として確実に噴出させることができる。
 (9)衛生洗浄装置は、洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水および空気供給装置により供給される空気を合流させて噴出装置の流路に導く合流部をさらに備えてもよい。
 この場合、空気供給装置により供給される空気と洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水とが合流部にて合流する。また、流路内を流動する洗浄水が空気により効率よく分断される。これにより、噴出装置から効率よく洗浄水と空気とを交互に噴出させることができる。その結果、洗浄水は空気の圧力により噴出方向へ加圧される。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、洗浄水の洗浄力をさらに向上させることができる。また、少量の洗浄水により十分な洗浄が可能であるため、節水効果をさらに得ることもできる。
 (10)衛生洗浄装置は、洗浄強さを設定するために使用者により操作される操作部と、噴出装置から噴出される洗浄水の圧力が操作部の操作により設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力になるように洗浄水供給装置および空気供給装置の少なくとも一方を制御する制御部とをさらに備えてもよい。
 この場合、使用者が操作部を操作することにより洗浄強さを設定すると、噴出装置から噴出される洗浄水の圧力が設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力になるように洗浄水供給装置および空気供給装置の少なくとも一方が制御される。これにより、噴出装置から噴出される洗浄水の圧力を設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力に維持することができる。
 (11)衛生洗浄装置は、洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水の流量を検出する流量検出器をさらに備え、制御部は、流量検出器により検出された流量に基づいて噴出装置から噴出された洗浄水の圧力が操作部の操作により設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力になるように洗浄水供給装置および空気供給装置の少なくとも一方を制御してもよい。
 この場合、流量検出器により検出された流量に基づいて、洗浄水供給装置および空気供給装置の少なくとも一方が制御される。これにより、洗浄水の流量が変動する場合でも、噴出装置から噴出される洗浄水の圧力を設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力に維持することができる。
 (12)衛生洗浄装置は、噴出装置からの洗浄水の噴出期間に供給源から供給される洗浄水を流動させつつ加熱して洗浄水供給装置に供給する瞬間式加熱装置をさらに備えてもよい。
 この場合、供給源から供給される洗浄水は流動しつつ、噴出装置からの洗浄水の噴出期間に瞬間式加熱装置により瞬間的に加熱される。これにより、加熱された洗浄水を予め準備しておく必要がない。また、大量に洗浄水を使用する場合において、加熱された洗浄水が不足することがない。さらに、衛生洗浄装置の未使用時における瞬間式加熱装置内の洗浄水の異常な温度上昇および洗浄水の空焚きが防止される。その結果、より省資源かつ安全な衛生洗浄装置を提供することができる。
 本発明によれば、洗浄水を独立した水塊として断続的に噴出することが可能であるとともに大型化が抑制されかつ低コスト化が可能な衛生洗浄装置を提供することができる。

 以下、本発明の一実施の形態に係る衛生洗浄装置について図面を参照しつつ説明する。
 (1)衛生洗浄装置の外観
 図1は、本発明の一実施の形態に係る衛生洗浄装置100の外観斜視図である。この衛生洗浄装置100は、トイレットルーム内に設置される。
 図1に示すように、衛生洗浄装置100は、本体部200、遠隔操作装置300、便座部400、蓋部410および入室検知センサ600により構成される。
 本体部200は、トイレットルーム内の便器に取り付けられる。本体部200には、便座部400および蓋部410が開閉可能に取り付けられている。また、本体部200の内部には、ノズル装置500および図示しない洗浄水供給機構が設けられている。さらに、本体部200には、後述の制御部90(図3)が内蔵されている。
 図1に示すように、本体部200の正面下部にノズル装置500の一部が露出している。ノズル装置500は、洗浄水供給機構を介して水道配管に接続されている。人体の局部の洗浄時には、ノズル装置500の露出部分から後述する人体洗浄ノズル540(図3)が図示しない便器内に突出し、人体の局部に洗浄水を噴出する。
 遠隔操作装置300には、複数のスイッチが設けられている。遠隔操作装置300は、例えば便座部400上に着座する使用者が操作可能な場所に取り付けられる。
 入室検知センサ600は、トイレットルームの入口等に取り付けられる。入室検知センサ600は、例えば反射型の赤外線センサである。この場合、入室検知センサ600は、人体から反射された赤外線を検出した場合にトイレットルーム内に使用者が入室したことを検知する。
 本体部200の制御部90(図3)は、遠隔操作装置300および入室検知センサ600から送信される信号に基づいて、衛生洗浄装置100の各部の動作を制御する。
 (2)遠隔操作装置の構成
 図2は、図1の遠隔操作装置300の正面図である。遠隔操作装置300は、コントローラ本体部301の下部にコントローラ蓋部302が開閉自在に設けられた構造を有する(図2(a)矢印参照)。
 図2(a)に示すように、コントローラ蓋部302が閉じられた状態で、コントローラ本体部301の上部には、水流スイッチ320、空気スイッチ321、強さ調整スイッチ322,323および位置調整スイッチ324,325が設けられる。コントローラ蓋部302には、停止スイッチ311、おしりスイッチ312およびビデスイッチ313が設けられる。
 使用者により、上記スイッチ311~313,320~325が操作される。これにより、遠隔操作装置300から図1の本体部200に各スイッチ311~313,320~325に応じた信号が無線送信される。本体部200の制御部90(図3)は、受信した信号に基づいて本体部200(図1)および便座部400(図1)の各構成部の動作を制御する。
 例えば、使用者がおしりスイッチ312またはビデスイッチ313を操作することにより、後述するノズル装置500(図3)から使用者の局部に洗浄水が噴出される。また、使用者が停止スイッチ311を操作することにより、ノズル装置500から洗浄水の噴出が停止される。
 使用者が強さ調整スイッチ322,323を操作することにより、使用者の局部に噴出される洗浄水の流量および圧力等が調整される。また、使用者が位置調整スイッチ324,325を操作することにより、後述する人体洗浄ノズル540(図3)の位置が調整される。これにより、使用者の局部への洗浄水の噴出位置が調整される。
 使用者が水流スイッチ320を操作することにより、使用者の局部に噴出される洗浄水の噴出形態が後述する直線流と分散旋回流との間で切り替えられる。
 使用者が空気スイッチ321を操作することにより、ノズル装置500の内部を流れる洗浄水に空気が混入される。これにより、ノズル装置500から使用者の局部に後述する洗浄水の水塊が断続的に噴出される。
 図2(b)に、コントローラ蓋部302が開かれた状態の遠隔操作装置300の正面図が示されている。図2(b)に示すように、コントローラ蓋部302により覆われるコントローラ本体部301の下部には、上述の停止スイッチ311、おしりスイッチ312およびビデスイッチ313に加えて、自動開閉スイッチ331、水温調整スイッチ332および便座温度調整スイッチ333が設けられる。
 これらのスイッチ311~313,331~333が操作される場合にも、遠隔操作装置300から本体部200に各スイッチ311~313,331~333に応じた信号が無線送信される。これにより、本体部200の制御部90は、受信した信号に基づいて本体部200および便座部400の各構成部の動作を制御する。
 自動開閉スイッチ331がオン状態のときに、トイレットルームへの使用者の入室に応じて蓋部410が開閉される。
 使用者が水温調整スイッチ332を操作することにより、ノズル装置500から使用者の局部に噴出される洗浄水の温度が調整される。使用者が便座温度調整スイッチ333を操作することにより、便座部400の温度が調整される。
 (3)本体部における給水系および制御系の構成
 図3は、本体部200の構成を示す模式図である。図3に示すように、本体部200は、分岐水栓2、ストレーナ4、逆止弁5、定流量弁6、止水電磁弁7、流量センサ8、熱交換器9、水ポンプ11、バッファタンク12、ノズル装置500、バキュームブレーカ31,61、サーミスタS1,S2および制御部90を含む。
 水道配管1には分岐水栓2が介挿される。分岐水栓2と熱交換器9との間に接続される配管3には、上流から下流に向かってストレーナ4、逆止弁5、定流量弁6、止水電磁弁7、サーミスタS1および流量センサ8がこの順で介挿される。熱交換器9とノズル装置500との間に接続される配管10には、上流から下流に向かってサーミスタS2、水ポンプ11およびバッファタンク12がこの順で介挿される。
 ノズル装置500は、切替弁13、空気ポンプ14、人体洗浄ノズル540およびノズル洗浄ノズル520を含む。人体洗浄ノズル540には、直線流路551、旋回流路552およびビデ流路553が形成されている。切替弁13には切替弁モータ13mが接続される。
 切替弁13は複数のポートを含む。切替弁13の複数のポートに人体洗浄ノズル540の流路551,552,553およびノズル洗浄ノズル520がそれぞれ接続されている。空気ポンプ14は、切替弁13とノズル装置500の直線流路551とをつなぐ後述のホースh6,h7(図6)の間に接続される。
 バキュームブレーカ31は、止水電磁弁7と流量センサ8との間の配管3の部分から延びる分岐配管30に接続され、熱交換器9の洗浄水噴出口よりも上方の位置に配置される。バキュームブレーカ31には、分岐配管32の一端が接続される。分岐配管30と分岐配管32とはバキュームブレーカ31を介して連結される。分岐配管32の他端は、例えば便器内に配置される。
 バキュームブレーカ61はバッファタンク12に設けられ、熱交換器9よりも上方の位置に配置される。なお、バキュームブレーカ61およびバッファタンク12は一体的に形成されている。したがって、バッファタンク12も熱交換器9よりも上方の位置に配置される。
 次に、本体部200における洗浄水の流れおよび制御部90による本体部200の各構成部の制御について説明する。
 水道配管1を流れる浄水が、洗浄水として分岐水栓2によりストレーナ4に供給される。これにより、洗浄水に含まれるゴミおよび不純物等がストレーナ4により除去される。
 次に、逆止弁5により配管3内における洗浄水の逆流が防止され、定流量弁6により配管3内を流れる洗浄水の流量が一定に維持される。そして、止水電磁弁7により熱交換器9への洗浄水の供給状態が切り替えられる。止水電磁弁7の動作は、制御部90により制御される。
 サーミスタS1は、配管3内を流れる洗浄水の温度を測定し、制御部90に測定温度値を与える。流量センサ8は、配管3内を流れる洗浄水の流量を測定し、制御部90に測定流量値を与える。熱交換器9は、配管3を通して供給される洗浄水を設定された温度に加熱する。熱交換器9の詳細については後述する。
 続いて、水ポンプ11は、熱交換器9により加熱された洗浄水を加熱しつつバッファタンク12を通してノズル装置500の切替弁13に供給する。サーミスタS2は、配管10内を流れる洗浄水の温度を測定し、制御装置90に測定温度値を与える。
 熱交換器9および水ポンプ11の動作は、流量センサ8により測定された測定流量値およびサーミスタS1,S2により測定された測定温度値に基づいて制御部90により制御される。
 バッファタンク12は、加熱された洗浄水の温度緩衝部として作用する。これにより、切替弁13に供給される洗浄水の温度むらの発生が抑制される。
 人体洗浄ノズル540は、使用者の局部の洗浄を行うために用いられる。ノズル洗浄ノズル520は、人体洗浄ノズル540における洗浄水の噴出部分を洗浄するために用いられる。
 ノズル装置500の切替弁13は、切替弁モータ13mが動作することにより、水ポンプ11から供給された洗浄水を、人体洗浄ノズル540またはノズル洗浄ノズル520に選択的に供給する。これにより、人体洗浄ノズル540またはノズル洗浄ノズル520から洗浄水が噴出される。切替弁モータ13mの動作は、制御部90により制御される。
 ここで、水ポンプ11からの洗浄水が人体洗浄ノズル540の直線流路551に供給されている状態で、使用者により図2の空気スイッチ321が操作されると空気ポンプ14が動作する。それにより、空気ポンプ14は、切替弁13から直線流路551に流れる洗浄水に空気を混入させる。その結果、ノズル装置500から後述する洗浄水の水塊が断続的に噴出される。
 止水電磁弁7から熱交換器9に供給される洗浄水のうちノズル装置500において使用されない余剰な洗浄水は、分岐配管30および分岐配管32を介して捨て水として便器内に流される。すなわち、分岐配管30および分岐配管32は捨て水回路として機能する。
 なお、熱交換器9の上流側にバキュームブレーカ31が設けられ、熱交換器9の下流側にバキュームブレーカ61が設けられている。これにより、配管3内が負圧になった場合または配管10内が負圧になった場合に、熱交換器9からの洗浄水の抜けが防止される。その結果、熱交換器9の空焚きが防止される。
 (4)熱交換器
 図4は、熱交換器9の構造の一例を示す一部切り欠き断面図である。図4に示すように、この熱交換器9は、樹脂ケース433および蛇行配管431を含む。
 樹脂ケース433内に曲折された蛇行配管431が埋設されている。蛇行配管431に接触するように高出力密度の平板状のセラミックヒータ432が設けられている。矢印Yで示すように、洗浄水が、給水口434から蛇行配管431内に供給され、蛇行配管431中を流れる間に、セラミックヒータ432により効率よく加熱され、排出口435から排出される。
 なお、本例の熱交換器9は、図3のサーミスタS2が排出口435の近傍に一体化して設けられた構成を有する。図3の制御部90は、サーミスタS2より与えられる測定温度値に基づいて熱交換器9のセラミックヒータ432の温度をフィードバック制御する。
 上記のように、この熱交換器9は、内部の蛇行配管431を流動する洗浄水を瞬間的に加熱する瞬間式加熱装置である。したがって、必要な量の洗浄水を瞬間的に所望の温度に加熱することができる。
 また、この熱交換器9を備える衛生洗浄装置100においては、使用者の局部の洗浄前に予め所定温度に加熱された洗浄水を保温しつつ貯留する必要がなくなる。したがって、洗浄水の貯留槽が不要であり、衛生洗浄装置100の小型化および省エネルギー化が実現される。さらに、洗浄時間が長時間化した場合、および複数の使用者が連続して衛生洗浄装置100を使用した場合でも、所定温度に加熱された洗浄水が不足することが防止される。
 この熱交換器9のセラミックヒータ432は、例えば最大1200Wで駆動される。この場合、熱交換器9は、例えば蛇行配管431を500cc/minで流れる洗浄水を5℃から42℃まで加熱することができる。また、セラミックヒータ432は、制御部90(図3)による制御に基づき、水ポンプ11(図3)の作動中にのみ洗浄水の加熱を行う。これにより、熱交換器9内の洗浄水の異常な温度上昇および洗浄水の空焚きを防止することができる。
 上記では、熱交換器9の発熱源として高い電力密度を有する平板状のセラミックヒータ432を用いる例を説明したが、発熱源の構成はこれに限定されない。熱交換器9の発熱源としては、例えばシーズヒータ、マイカヒータまたはシートヒータ等を用いることもできる。
 また、本実施の形態においては、制御部90がフィードバック制御により熱交換器9のセラミックヒータ432の温度を制御するが、これに限定されない。例えば、フィードフォワード制御によりセラミックヒータ432の温度を制御してもよい。または、温度上昇時にフィードフォワード制御によりセラミックヒータ432を制御し、定常時にフィードバック制御によりセラミックヒータ432を制御する複合的な制御を行ってもよい。
 (5)ノズル装置
 (5-a)ノズル装置の全体構成
 図5は、本体部200の内部に設けられるノズル装置500の外観斜視図である。
 図5に示すように、本体部200は、便器の上端面に取り付けられる下部ケーシング部200Uを備える。下部ケーシング部200U上にノズル装置500および洗浄水供給機構が設けられる。図5においては、下部ケーシング200Uに設けられるノズル装置500以外の構成要素の図示は省略する。
 ノズル装置500はノズルガイド台590を有する。ノズルガイド台590は、下部ケーシング200Uの略中央部に設けられる。下部ケーシング200Uにおけるノズルガイド台590の側方に、ノズル装置500の一部を構成する空気ポンプ14が設けられる。
 ノズルガイド台590の上部には、略円柱形状を有する人体洗浄ノズル540が水平面に対して傾斜した状態で進退可能に設けられる。後述するように、人体洗浄ノズル540は、人体の局部の洗浄時にノズルガイド台590の前端部から外方へ突出し、人体の局部の非洗浄時にノズルガイド台590の前端部の内側に収容される。
 また、ノズルガイド台590には、人体洗浄ノズル540に隣接するように切替弁13が設けられる。切替弁13には、切替弁モータ13mが接続される。
 人体洗浄ノズル540の下方の中央部にはノズル進退モータ546aが設けられる。ノズル進退モータ546aの詳細は後述する。また、人体洗浄ノズル540および切替弁13の下方の後部には図3の水ポンプ11および水ポンプ11を駆動するための水ポンプモータ11mが設けられる。
 本例において、ノズル装置500の給水系に関する各構成要素間の接続には、複数のホースh1~h8が用いられる。これらのホースh1~h8の詳細は後述する。
 この状態で、下部ケーシング部200U、ノズル装置500および洗浄水供給機構を覆うように上部ケーシングが取り付けられる。上部ケーシングに図1の便座部400および蓋部410が取り付けられる。
 (5-b)ノズル装置の給水系
 図6は、ノズル装置500における洗浄水の給水系を説明するための図である。図6では、図5の空気ポンプ14を除くノズル装置500の構成要素の一部が示されている。
 人体洗浄ノズル540の内部には、直線流路551(図3)、旋回流路552(図3)およびビデ流路553(図3)が形成される。詳細は後述する。人体洗浄ノズル540の後端部には、直線流路551、旋回流路552およびビデ流路553にそれぞれ連通する直線ポート551p、旋回ポート552pおよびビデポート553pが設けられる。
 ノズルガイド台590の前端部には、人体の局部の洗浄が行われないときに人体洗浄ノズル540の先端部を収容可能な先端ケーシング521が取り付けられる。先端ケーシング521は、人体洗浄ノズル540がノズルガイド台590に収容された状態で、人体洗浄ノズル540の先端部およびその近傍の領域を覆うように筒状に形成される。
 先端ケーシング521の上部には、先端ケーシング521の内部に洗浄水を供給するためのノズル洗浄ノズル520が設けられる。ノズル洗浄ノズル520には、ノズル洗浄ポート520pが設けられる。先端ケーシング521の前端部には、先端ケーシング521の前端部開口を開閉可能なノズルシャッタ522が設けられる。
 切替弁13には、給水ポート131、ノズル洗浄吐出ポート132、旋回吐出ポート133、ビデ吐出ポート134および直線吐出ポート135が設けられる。
 ここで、切替弁13は外筒および内筒からなる。外筒に上記のポート131~135が設けられる。内筒には、複数の孔部および溝部が形成される。外筒の内部に内筒が挿入される。
 切替弁モータ13mは、例えば回転軸の回転角度を調整可能なステッピングモータである。切替弁モータ13mの回転軸は、内筒の一端に接続される。これにより、切替弁モータ13mが動作することにより、外筒の内部で内筒が回転し、回転角度に応じて給水ポート131がノズル洗浄吐出ポート132、旋回吐出ポート133、ビデ吐出ポート134および直線吐出ポート135のいずれかと選択的に連通する。
 また、切替弁13の内筒が外筒に対して所定の回転角度にある状態では、給水ポート131はノズル洗浄吐出ポート132、旋回吐出ポート133、ビデ吐出ポート134および直線吐出ポート135のいずれとも連通しない(完全閉止状態)。この場合、給水ポート131から供給される洗浄水は切替弁13の内筒の外周面により押し戻される。押し戻された洗浄水は図3のバキュームブレーカ31まで逆流し、分岐配管32を経て便器内に放出される。
 入室検知センサ600が使用者のトイレットルームへの入室を検出した場合、または図示しない着座センサが使用者の便座部400への着座を検出した場合に切替弁13が上記の完全閉止状態に制御される。これにより、使用者が便器を使用する前に洗浄水が放出されることにより、便器の内表面に水膜が形成される。その結果、便器の内表面に汚物等が付着することを防止することができる。
 人体洗浄ノズル540の下方の後部に設けられる水ポンプ11は、洗浄水の給水ポートおよび吐出ポートを有する。水ポンプ11の給水ポートにホースh1の一端が接続され、水ポンプ11の吐出ポートにホースh2の一端が接続される。ホースh1,h2は図3の配管10に相当する。
 切替弁13の給水ポート131にホースh2の他端が接続される。これにより、切替弁13の給水ポート131は、ホースh2を介して水ポンプ11の吐出ポートに接続される。
 切替弁13のノズル洗浄吐出ポート132は、ホースh3を介してノズル洗浄ノズル520のノズル洗浄ポート520pに接続される。切替弁13の旋回吐出ポート133は、ホースh4を介して人体洗浄ノズル540の旋回ポート552pに接続される。切替弁13のビデ吐出ポート134は、ホースh5を介して人体洗浄ノズル540のビデポート553pに接続される。
 切替弁13の直線吐出ポート135は、ホースh6を介してT字管503の一つのポートに接続される。T字管503の他の1つのポートは、ホースh7を介して人体洗浄ノズル540の直線ポート551pに接続される。また、T字管503のさらに他の1つのポートは、ホースh8を介して図5の空気ポンプ14に接続される。
 人体の局部の洗浄時には、切替弁13の給水ポート131に供給される洗浄水が人体洗浄ノズル540の直線ポート551p、旋回ポート552pおよびビデポート553pの少なくとも一つに供給される。これにより、人体洗浄ノズル540から人体の局部に洗浄水が噴出される。
 また、人体洗浄ノズル540の直線ポート551pに洗浄水が供給されている状態で使用者により図2の空気スイッチ321が操作される場合には、切替弁13からホースh6を通してT字管503に送られる洗浄水に、図5の空気ポンプ14からホースh8を通して空気が混入される。
 これにより、後述するように、人体洗浄ノズル540から人体の局部に洗浄水が独立した水塊として断続的に噴出される。
 さらに、人体洗浄ノズル540の洗浄時には、切替弁13の給水ポート131に供給される洗浄水がノズル洗浄ノズル520のノズル洗浄ポート520pに供給される。この場合、ノズル洗浄ノズル520から先端ケーシング521の内部に洗浄水が供給される。このとき、先端ケーシング521の内部では、洗浄水が人体洗浄ノズル540の外周面に沿って旋回するように流れる。これにより、人体洗浄ノズル540の先端部およびその近傍の領域が洗浄される。
 (5-c)人体洗浄ノズルの進退機構
 図7は、図6のノズル装置500のA-A線縦断面図である。図7のノズル装置500においては、図6の複数のホースh1~h8の図示は省略する。
 図7に示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540の下面には、その軸心方向に沿ってラック540rが設けられる。人体洗浄ノズル540の下方において、ノズルガイド台590にノズル進退モータ546aが取り付けられる。
 ノズル進退モータ546aの回転軸には、図示しないウォームギアが取り付けられる。そのウォームギアに噛み合うように人体洗浄ノズル540の下部に変速ギア546bが設けられる。さらに、変速ギア546bおよび人体洗浄ノズル540のラック540rに噛み合うようにピニオンギア546cが設けられる。
 ノズル進退モータ546aが動作すると、その回転力はウォームギア、変速ギア546bおよびピニオンギア546cを通して人体洗浄ノズル540のラック540rに伝達される。これにより、図7の太い矢印で示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540がその軸心方向に沿って進退動作する。
 ノズル進退モータ546aには、回転センサ547が取り付けられている。回転センサ547は、ノズル進退モータ546aの回転角度を検出し、図3の制御部90に与える。これにより、図3の制御部90は、図2の遠隔操作装置300から与えられる信号および回転センサ547から与えられる回転角度に基づいてノズル進退モータ546aを制御し、人体洗浄ノズル540の移動量を調整する。
 図8は、人体洗浄ノズル540がノズルガイド台590から突出した状態を示す外観斜視図である。図8のノズル装置500においても、図6の複数のホースh1~h8の図示は省略する。
 使用者により図2のおしりスイッチ312またはビデスイッチ313が操作されることにより、ノズル進退モータ546aが動作する。これにより、図8に示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540がノズルガイド台590の前端部から所定長さ突出する。そして、人体洗浄ノズル540の先端部近傍に形成された孔部540hから洗浄水が噴出される。
 ノズル進退モータ546aの動作量は、図2のおしりスイッチ312が操作された場合と図2のビデスイッチ313が操作された場合とで異なる。おしりスイッチ312が操作された場合の人体洗浄ノズル540の突出長さは、ビデスイッチ313が操作された場合の人体洗浄ノズル540の突出長さに比べて大きくなる。
 (5-d)人体洗浄ノズルの構造
 図9は人体洗浄ノズル540の上面図であり、図10は人体洗浄ノズル540の下面図であり、図11は人体洗浄ノズル540の一方側の側面図である。また、図12は図9の人体洗浄ノズル540のB-B線断面図であり、図13は図11の人体洗浄ノズル540のE-E線断面図である。図14は図9の人体洗浄ノズル540のC-C線断面図であり、図15は図9の人体洗浄ノズル540のD-D線断面図である。図16は図12の人体洗浄ノズル540の先端部を拡大した断面図である。図17は図16の人体洗浄ノズル540のF-F線断面図である。
 図9~図11に示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540は、ノズルカバー50、ラック台座60およびノズル本体70を備える。
 ノズルカバー50は、一端が閉塞された筒形状を有する。ノズルカバー50の上面の一端部近傍に孔部540hが形成される。また、ノズルカバー50の下面の一端部近傍に廃液口50gが形成される。さらに、ノズルカバー50他端部から略中央部にかけて切り欠き52が形成される。
 ラック台座60は、長手形状を有する。ラック台座60の上面にノズル本体70が保持される。この状態で、ラック台座60は、ノズル本体70をその長手方向に摺動可能に保持する。ラック台座60の下面にはラック540rが設けられる。
 ノズル本体70を保持するラック台座60がノズルカバー50の他端部に取り付けられる。これにより、ノズル本体70の一部がノズルカバー50の内部に挿入される。また、ラック台座60に設けられたラック540rがノズルカバー50の切り欠き52に嵌め込まれる。
 ラック台座60の一側面には、板バネ保持部542が設けられている。板バネ保持部542には突起部を有する板バネFSが取り付けられる。板バネFSは、突起部がノズル本体70の一側面に対向するように配置される。
 ノズル本体70の後端部近傍の一側面には、その長手方向に間隔をおいて2つの溝部G1,G2が形成されている。ノズル本体70がラック台座60上に載置された状態で、2つの溝部G1,G2は板バネFSの突起部が嵌合可能となっている。ノズル本体70は、板バネFSの突起部が2つの溝部G1,G2のうちのいずれかに嵌合することによりラック台座60上で位置決めされる。
 図12~図15に示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540のノズル本体70の内部には、その長手方向に延びるように直線流路551、旋回流路552およびビデ流路553が形成される。3つの流路551~553に平行に延びるバッファタンク554が形成される。
 図12に示すように、直線流路551はノズル本体70の後端部側で直線ポート551pに連通し、ビデ流路553はノズル本体70の後端部側でビデポート553pに連通する。また、図13に示すように、旋回流路552はノズル本体70の後端部側で旋回ポート552pに連通する。
 直線流路551および旋回流路552の内径は、例えば、それぞれ3.0mm~3.5mmである。
 図16に示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540の先端部近傍の上面におしり噴出口555aおよびビデ噴出口555bが形成される。おしり噴出口555aは、ビデ噴出口555bの前方に位置する。人体洗浄ノズル540内の先端部近傍には、おしり噴出口555aに連通する円柱状の混合室551aが形成される。
 直線流路551の先端部は、混合室551aの軸心に向かうように混合室551aに連通する。直線ポート551p(図12)から供給された洗浄水は、直線流路551を流動し、混合室551aの軸心に向かって底部から混合室551a内に流入する。洗浄水は、混合室551aの底部からおしり噴出口555aに向かって流動する。それにより、おしり噴出口555aから直線流が噴出される。
 図17に示すように、旋回流路552の先端部は、混合室551aの軸心に対して偏心するように混合室551aに連通する。旋回ポート552p(図13)から供給された洗浄水は、旋回流路552を通過し、混合室551aの内周面に沿うように混合室551a内に流入する。このとき、混合室551a内で洗浄水に旋回成分が付与される。それにより、おしり噴出口555aから旋回流が噴出される。
 直線流路551のみに洗浄水が供給された場合、おしり噴出口555aから直線流が噴出される。また、直線流路551および旋回流路552に洗浄水が供給された場合、おしり噴出口555aから広がり角度を有する分散旋回流が噴出される。
 図16に示すように、ビデ流路553の先端部は屈曲してビデ噴出口555bに連通する。ビデ流路553の内径は、例えば3.0mm~3.5mmである。ビデ流路553の途中には、縮小された内径を有するイジェクタ556が形成される。イジェクタ556の内径は、例えば1.0mm~1.5mmである。また、イジェクタ556の近傍には、例えば1.0mm程度の内径を有する空気混入孔557が設けられる。ビデポート553p(図12)から供給された洗浄水は、ビデ流路553を流動し、ビデ噴出口555bから噴出される。
 図13および図14のバッファタンク554は、円形断面を有する流路である。バッファタンク554の両端は閉塞されている。バッファタンク554の内径は、例えば3.0mm~3.2mmである。バッファタンク554は、イジェクタ556の上流側でビデ流路553に連通する。バッファタンク554は、ビデ流路553内を流動する洗浄水の脈動を除去する機能を有する。
 水ポンプ11(図3)によりビデ流路553に供給された洗浄水の圧力は脈動を伴う場合がある。特に、高い圧力を有する脈動を伴う洗浄水は、内径の小さいイジェクタ556を通過できずに、ビデ流路553の先端まで到達することができない。
 このような場合、洗浄水がイジェクタ556によりビデ流路553の後端側に押し戻され、図示しない連通路を通してバッファタンク554(図12)に流入する。それにより、バッファタンク554の内部の空気が洗浄水の圧力により圧縮される。その結果、洗浄水の圧力変動が吸収され、洗浄水の脈動が緩和される。
 脈動が緩和された洗浄水は、バッファタンク554から図示しない連通路を通して再びビデ流路553へ戻り、内径の小さいイジェクタ556を通過し、ビデ流路553の先端部へ到達する。この場合、内径の小さいイジェクタ556から内径の大きいビデ流路553の部分に洗浄水が流入することにより、洗浄水に撹拌による渦流が発生する。その結果、洗浄水の圧力の脈動がより緩和される。これにより、ビデ噴出口555bから圧力の脈動が小さく柔らかい洗浄水が噴出される。
 図9に示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540がノズルガイド台590に収容されているときには、板バネFSの突起部がノズル本体70の後側の溝部G2に嵌合している。この状態では、ノズル本体70のビデ噴出口555bがノズルカバー50の孔部540hに一致する。
 ここで、図9、図11および図12に示すように、ノズル本体70の上面側には係止突起70pが形成される。図8に示すように、人体洗浄ノズル540が図8のノズルガイド台590に対して前進すると、図11の係止突起70pが図8の先端ケーシング521に当接するまでは、板バネFSの突起部がノズル本体70の後端側の溝部G2に嵌合している。
 この場合、ノズル本体70のビデ噴出口555bからノズルカバー50の孔部540hを通して洗浄水が噴出される。
 ノズル本体70の係止突起70pが図8の先端ケーシング521に当接すると、ノズルカバー50およびラック台座60に対してノズル本体70の前進が規制される。これにより、板バネFSとノズル本体70の溝部G2との間の嵌合状態が解除され、ノズル本体70がラック台座60上で摺動し、板バネFSの突起部がノズル本体70の前側の溝部G1に嵌合する。
 この状態では、ノズル本体70のおしり噴出口555aがノズルカバー50の孔部540hに一致する。したがって、ノズル本体70のおしり噴出口555aからノズルカバー50の孔部540hを通して洗浄水が噴出される。
 本実施の形態では、おしりスイッチ312が操作された場合にノズル本体70のおしり噴出口555aがノズルカバー50の孔部540hの位置に保持され、ビデスイッチ313が操作された場合にノズル本体70のビデ噴出口555bがノズルカバー50の孔部540hの位置に保持される。
 本実施の形態では、切替弁13において、直線流路551に連通する流路の面積と旋回流路552に連通する流路の面積との比を変化させることができる。それにより、おしり噴出口555aから噴出される洗浄水を直線流と分散旋回流とに連続的に切り替えることが可能となる。直線流は、旋回成分をほとんど有しない。直線流を用いることにより、洗浄水を集中させて1点を洗浄することができる。分散旋回流は、洗浄水の旋回成分を増大させることにより得られる。分散旋回流を用いることにより、洗浄水を拡散させながら広範囲を洗浄することができる。また、おしり噴出口555aから噴出される洗浄水の拡散角度を制御することも可能である。
 さらに、切替弁13において、直線流路551、旋回流路552およびビデ流路553にそれぞれ連通する流路の面積を変化させることにより、おしり噴出口555aから噴出される洗浄水の流量およびビデ噴出口555bから噴出される洗浄水の流量を調整することも可能である。
 (5-e)空気ポンプ
 図18は、空気ポンプ14の模式的断面図である。本実施の形態では、空気ポンプ14として、ダイアフラムポンプが用いられる。
 図18に示すように、空気ポンプ14は、ケーシング14a、ポンプモータ14b、クランク体14c、駆動軸14d、揺動部材14e、複数のクラッシャ14g、ゴム製の複数のダイアフラム14hおよび複数のアンブレラ弁14iを備える。図18の例では、2つのクラッシャ14g、2つのダイアフラム14hおよび2つのアンブレラ弁14iが設けられる。
 ケーシング14aの上面の中心部には、吐出口14jが設けられ、吐出口14jの周囲に複数の供給口14kが設けられる。
 ポンプモータ14bは、回転軸がケーシング14aの下面の中心部を貫通するようにケーシング14aの下部に設けられる。クランク体14cは円柱形状を有する。ポンプモータ14bの回転軸は、クランク体14cの下面の中心に垂直に取り付けられる。駆動軸14dは、クランク体14cの上面の中心よりも外側に傾斜するように取り付けられる。揺動部材14eは、駆動軸14dに取り付けられる。この状態で、揺動部材14eは、駆動軸14dに対してその回転方向に摺動可能に保持される。
 複数のクラッシャ14gは、揺動部材14eに外周部に沿って取り付けられる。ケーシング14aの各供給口14kにアンブレラ弁14iが取り付けられる。各アンブレラ弁14iの下端部および各供給口14kを覆うようにケーシング14aの内側下面にダイアフラム14hが設けられる。
 制御部90(図3)の制御によりポンプモータ14bの回転軸が回転すると、クランク体14cが回転し、駆動軸14dおよび揺動部材14eが傾斜した状態で回転する。これにより揺動部材14eが揺動する。それにより、複数のクラッシャ14gが順に上下動し、複数のダイアフラム14hを順に押圧する。押圧されていないダイアフラム14hの内部の空間には供給口14kを通して空気が流入する。各ダイアフラム14hの押圧に伴って対応するアンブレラ弁14iにより供給口14kが閉じられるとともに、ダイアフラム14hの内部の空間の空気が吐出口14jを通して外部に吐出される。
 このようにして、ポンプモータ14bの回転軸に伴って、複数の供給口14kから複数のダイアフラム14hの内部の空間に順に空気が流入するとともに、複数のダイアフラム14hの内部の空間の空気が順に吐出口14jを通して外部に吐出される。それにより、吐出口14jから吐出される空気の圧力が略全波波形を有するように周期的に変動する。
 供給口14kの数、クラッシャ14gの数、ダイアフラム14hの数およびアンブレラ弁14iの数が多くすることにより、吐出口14jから吐出される空気の圧力をほぼ一定にすることも可能である。
 (6)水ポンプの吐出圧力
 以下の説明では、図3の水ポンプ11による洗浄水の吐出圧力を水圧力と呼ぶ。本実施の形態において、水ポンプ11としては、シリンダ内でピストンが往復動作することにより洗浄水を加圧する往復動ポンプが用いられる。したがって、水ポンプ11の動作時には、水圧力が略正弦波形を描くように一の変動幅で周期的に変動する。この往復動ポンプにおいては、図5の水ポンプモータ11mの回転力がピストンの動力となる。したがって、水圧力は水ポンプモータ11mの回転速度を制御することにより調整される。
 例えば、水ポンプモータ11m(図5)の回転速度が高くなると、水圧力の変動周波数が高くなり、変動周期が短くなる。また、水圧力の変動幅が大きくなり、変動中心が高くなる。一方、水ポンプモータ11mの回転速度が低くなると、水圧力の変動周波数が低くなり、変動周期が長くなる。また、水圧力の変動幅が小さくなり、変動中心が低くなる。
 使用者は、強さ調整スイッチ322,323(図2)を操作することにより洗浄強さを複数段に設定することができる。複数段の洗浄強さは複数段の水圧力に対応する。また、複数段の水圧力は水ポンプモータ11mの複数の回転速度に対応する。
 ここで、図3の制御部90には、強さ調整スイッチ322,323の操作により設定可能な複数段の洗浄強さと水ポンプモータ11mの複数の回転速度との関係が記憶されている。
 これにより、制御部90は、強さ調整スイッチ322,323を用いて使用者により設定された洗浄強さに基づいて水ポンプモータ11mの回転速度を制御する。それにより、水圧力が使用者による強さ調整スイッチ322,323の設定に応じて変動する。
 水ポンプモータ11mの回転速度が一定であっても、水圧力は水ポンプ11への洗浄水の供給圧力の変動に応じて変動する。また、水ポンプ11の水圧力と図3の配管3を流れる洗浄水の流量との間には一定の関係がある。そこで、本実施の形態において、制御部90は、図3の流量センサ8による測定流量値に基づいて水ポンプモータ11mの回転速度をフィードバック制御する。
 この場合、制御部90は、強さ調整スイッチ322,323により設定可能な複数段の洗浄強さと洗浄水の流量との関係を予め記憶し、その対応関係に基づいて流量センサ8による測定流量値が、設定された洗浄強さに対応する流量になるように水ポンプモータ11mの回転速度を制御する。これにより、水圧力が使用者による強さ調整スイッチ322,323(図2)の設定に対応する圧力に正確に調整される。
 なお、流量センサ8は、洗浄水の変動する流量の一定時間(例えば、0.5sec)の平均値を測定流量値として制御部90に与える。
 (7)空気ポンプの吐出圧力
 以下の説明では、図3の空気ポンプ14による空気の吐出圧力を空気圧力と呼ぶ。
 上述のように、空気ポンプ14としては、ダイアフラムポンプが用いられる。この空気ポンプ14においては、図8のポンプモータ14bの回転力がダイアフラム14hの動力となる。したがって、空気圧力はポンプモータ14bの回転速度を制御することにより調整される。
 例えば、ポンプモータ14bの回転速度が高くなると、空気圧力の変動周波数が高くなり、変動周期が短くなる。また、空気圧力の変動幅が大きくなり、変動中心が高くなる。一方、ポンプモータ14bの回転速度が低くなると、空気圧力の変動周波数が低くなり、変動周期が長くなる。また、空気圧力の変動幅が小さくなり、変動中心が低くなる。ポンプモータ14bには駆動パルスが供給される。ポンプモータ14bの回転速度は、駆動パルスのデューティ比を変動させることにより調整することができる。
 ここで、洗浄水の流量が多くなるにつれて洗浄水内に空気が混入しにくくなり、図3の直線流路551内で洗浄水が空気により分断されにくくなる。それにより、図3の人体洗浄ノズル540から洗浄水が独立した水塊として噴出されにくくなる。そこで、本実施の形態では、洗浄水の流量の増加にしたがって空気圧が増加するようにポンプモータ14bの駆動パルスのデューティ比が制御される。
 図3の制御部90には、洗浄水の流量と駆動パルスのデューティ比との関係を示すマップが予め記憶されている。このマップは、洗浄水の流量と洗浄水の水塊を形成するために必要な空気圧力との関係に基づいて作成される。
 制御部90は、流量センサ8による測定流量値および予め設定されたマップに基づいてポンプモータ14bの回転速度をフィードフォワード制御する。この場合、制御部90は、流量センサ8による測定流量値に対応するデューティ比の値をマップから取得し、ポンプモータ14bの駆動パルスのデューティ比を取得した値に調整する。これにより、洗浄水の流量にかかわらず確実にノズル装置500から水塊が噴出される。
 (8)水圧力と空気圧力との関係
 上述のように、人体の局部の洗浄中に使用者が図2の空気スイッチ321を操作すると、人体洗浄ノズル540から使用者の局部に洗浄水の水塊が断続的に噴出される。空気圧力は人体の局部の洗浄期間中に少なくとも1回、水圧力より高くなるように設定される。以下、このように設定される水圧力と空気圧力との関係について例示する。ここで、洗浄期間とは、使用者によるおしりスイッチ312の操作により、人体洗浄ノズル540から洗浄水が噴出されている期間をいう。
 (8-a)第1の圧力関係
 図19は、水塊噴出時に維持される水圧力と空気圧力との第1の圧力関係を示すグラフである。図19においては、縦軸が圧力を示し、横軸が時間を示す。また、破線wpが水ポンプ11による水圧力を示し、実線apが空気ポンプ14による空気圧力を示す。
 図19に示すように、本例では、水ポンプ11による水圧力が最小値0から最大値Pbの範囲で周期的に変動する。一方、空気ポンプ14による空気圧力は、水圧力の最小値0よりも高く最大値Pbよりも低い値Paでほぼ一定に維持される。
 この場合、図19に斜線で示すように、空気圧力が周期的に水圧力よりも高くなる。このとき、空気が、分断された気泡ではなく、空気塊として洗浄水に混入される。そのため、空気塊が図3の直線流路551内を流動する際に、空気塊は流路断面のほぼ全体を占める。これにより、直線流路551内の洗浄水が空気塊により分断され、直線流路551内に水塊と空気塊とが交互に形成される。直線流路551内を流動する水塊および空気塊は、図16のおしり噴出口555aから交互に断続的に噴出される。
 特に、直線流路551の内部を滑らかに形成することにより、直線流路551内に形成された水塊および空気塊の細分化を抑制することができる。
 おしり噴出口555aから噴出された直後の洗浄水は、表面張力により略球状の水塊となる。このような水塊を局部に断続的に集中させて噴出することにより、均一な流量の洗浄水を局部に連続的に噴出する場合よりも、洗浄力が大幅に向上する。また、少量の洗浄水により十分な洗浄力が得られるため、空気が混入された洗浄水は節水効果をも有する。
 使用時に加熱された洗浄水が用いられる場合には、洗浄水の使用量が多くなると、加熱された洗浄水の準備が不十分になることがある。本実施の形態では、空気が混入された洗浄水を用いることにより、効率的かつ瞬時に加熱された洗浄水を供給することができる。さらに、空気が混入された洗浄水がおしり噴出口555aから噴出されて大気に開放されるときには、水塊が空気の膨張により噴出方向へ加圧される。そのため、空気が混入された洗浄水を用いることにより、人体の刺激に対する感覚を向上させることができる。
 本例では、空気圧力が略一定に維持される。この場合、人体洗浄ノズル540に供給される空気を人体洗浄ノズル540に供給される洗浄水に規則的に混入させることが可能となる。これにより、人体洗浄ノズル540からは洗浄水と空気とが規則的に交互に噴出される。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者は安定感の高い洗浄感を得ることができる。
 上記のように、本例では、水圧力が周期的に変動しているので、洗浄水の流量が多い場合でも、空気圧力を高めることなく、水圧力が空気圧力よりも低下する時点を容易に作り出すことができる。
 本例のように空気圧力を略一定に維持する場合、空気ポンプ14としては、多数(例えば、3つ以上)の揺動部材14eを備えるダイアフラムポンプを用いることが好ましい。この場合、揺動部材14eの数が増加するほどに、より安定して均一な空気圧力を得ることができる。略均一な空気圧を得ることが可能な空気ポンプ14として、ダイアフラムポンプに代えて、渦流ポンプを用いることもできる。
 (8-b)第2の圧力関係
 図20は、水塊噴出時に維持される水圧力と空気圧力との第2の圧力関係を示すグラフである。図20においても、縦軸が圧力を示し、横軸が時間を示す。また、破線wpが水ポンプ11による水圧力を示し、実線apが空気ポンプ14による空気圧力を示す。
 図20に示すように、本例では、水ポンプ11による水圧力が最小値Pcから最大値Pdの範囲で周期的に変動する。一方、空気ポンプ14による空気圧力は、最小値0から最大値Peの範囲で周期的に変動する。また、空気圧力の最大値Peは、水圧力の最小値Pcよりも高く水圧力の最大値Pdよりも低い。
 この場合、図20に斜線で示すように、空気圧力が周期的に水圧力よりも高くなる。このとき、空気は分断された比較的小さな気泡として周期的に洗浄水中に混入される。本例では、大量の気泡が洗浄中に混入されるため、図3の直線流路551内で合体し、空気塊へと成長する。そのため、空気塊が直線流路551内を流動する際に、空気塊は流路断面のほぼ全体を占める。これにより、直線流路551内の洗浄水は空気塊により分断され、直線流路551内に水塊と空気塊とが交互に形成される。
 このような効果は、空気圧力の変動周波数が水圧力の変動周波数よりも高いほど顕著になる。この場合、水圧力が低下する時点で、より多数回の空気の混入が行われるため、空気圧力の変動周波数と水圧力の変動周波数との間にずれが生じても、洗浄水に安定した流量の空気を混入することができる。
 直線流路551の断面積が徐々に小さくなるように直線流路551を形成することにより、直線流路551内でより効率よく洗浄水を空気塊により分断することができる。これにより、水塊および空気塊が図16のおしり噴出口555aまで到達し、図16のおしり噴出口555aから交互に断続的に噴出される。
 さらに、第2の圧力関係の場合、第1の圧力関係の場合に比べて簡単な構成で、人体洗浄ノズル540に供給される空気を人体洗浄ノズル540に供給される洗浄水に規則的に混入させることが可能となる。これにより、人体洗浄ノズル540からは洗浄水と空気とが規則的に交互に噴出される。その結果、人体洗浄ノズル540から独立した水塊が規則的に噴出される。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者は安定感の高い洗浄感を得ることができる。
 (8-c)第3の圧力関係
 図21は、水塊噴出時に維持される水圧力と空気圧力との第3の圧力関係を示すグラフである。図21においても、縦軸が圧力を示し、横軸が時間を示す。また、破線wpが水ポンプ11の水圧力を示し、実線apが空気ポンプ14の空気圧力を示す。
 図21に示すように、本例では、水ポンプ11による水圧力が最小値Pfから最大値Pgの範囲で周期的に変動する。一方、空気ポンプ14による空気圧力は、最小値0から最大値Phの範囲で周期的に変動する。また、空気圧力の最大値Phは、水圧力の最小値Pfよりも大きく水圧力の最大値Pgよりも小さい。
 この場合、図21に斜線で示すように、空気圧力が不規則に水圧力よりも高くなる。そのため、水圧力が低下したときに洗浄水に空気が混入される場合と、水圧力が低下したときに洗浄水に空気が混入されない場合とが生じる。この場合、一定時間内で空気の混入が行われる回数にばらつきが生じる。これにより、洗浄水に混入される空気の流量が変動し、図3の直線流路551内で水塊と空気塊とが不規則に形成される。
 このような効果は、空気圧力の変動周波数が水圧力の変動周波数よりも低いほど顕著になる。この場合、洗浄水に空気が多数回混入される期間と洗浄水に空気が全く混入されない期間とを不規則に発生させることができる。
 おしり噴出口555aから噴出された直後の洗浄水は、表面張力により略球状の水塊となる。ここで、直線流路551内で水塊と空気塊とが不規則に形成された場合、おしり噴出口555aから噴出される水塊の大きさも不規則に変動する。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者は洗浄水による不規則な刺激を得ることができる。
 人体は同一の刺激を長時間受けると、刺激に対して慣れてしまうため、刺激に対する感覚は低下する。そのため、不規則に形成された水塊と空気塊とが人体に噴出されることにより、人体の刺激に対する感覚の低下が抑制される。それにより、使用者は刺激感の高い洗浄感を得ることができるとともに、便意を促進させることができる。
 水圧力と空気圧力との関係を本例のように設定することにより、小型の空気ポンプ14(図3)を使用する場合にでも、十分に安定した量の空気を洗浄水に混入させ、使用者の嗜好に応じた洗浄感を与えることができる。
 (8-d)他の例
 (8-d-1)上記実施の形態において、図2の遠隔操作装置300には、洗浄水に混入される空気圧力を複数段に設定するための空気調整スイッチが設けられてもよい。
 この場合、使用者は空気調整スイッチを操作することにより、空気圧力を複数段に設定することができる。
 図22は、水塊噴出時に維持される水圧力と空気圧力との圧力関係の他の例を示すグラフである。具体的には、本グラフは、一の空気圧力で水塊が噴出されている際に、使用者により空気圧力の設定が変更された場合の水圧力および空気圧力の変動を示す。
 図22においても、縦軸が圧力を示し、横軸が時間を示す。また、破線wpが水ポンプ11の水圧力を示し、実線apが空気ポンプ14の空気圧力を示す。
 図22に示すように、本例では、水ポンプ11の水圧力が最小値0から最大値Pbの範囲で周期的に変動する。これに対して、空気ポンプ14の空気圧力は、時点t0から時点t1までの間、水圧力の最小値0よりも高く最大値Pbよりも小さい値Paでほぼ一定に維持される。そして、使用者により空気圧力の設定が変更された時点t1以降で値Paよりも小さい値Piでほぼ一定に維持される。この場合、図22に斜線で示す時点で、空気が洗浄水に混入される。
 なお、値Paに対する値Piの比率は例えば0.8である。この場合、時点t1以降の洗浄水に対する空気の混入量が、時点t0~t1における洗浄水に対する空気の混入量よりも少なくなる。このような空気圧力を選択することにより、使用者は、空気の流量が比較的少ない反面、流量が多く柔らかい洗浄感のある洗浄水を使用することができる。
 一方、使用者は空気圧力を高い側に設定変更することもできる。例えば、図22において、値Paに対する値Piの比率を1.3にしてもよい。この場合、時点t1以降の洗浄水に対する空気の混入量が、時点t0~t1における洗浄水に対する空気の混入量よりも多くなる。このような空気圧力を選択することにより、使用者は、空気により加速された刺激感の高い洗浄水を使用することができる。また、この場合、使用される洗浄水自体の量は少ないため、使用後の局部の乾燥を短時間で行うことができる。
 (8-d-2)上記実施の形態においては、衛生洗浄装置100(図1)は、1つの人体洗浄ノズル540(図3)の中に直線流路551(図3)、旋回流路552(図3)およびビデ流路553(図3)の3つの流路を含む構造を有するが、これに限定されない。例えば、衛生洗浄装置100は、直線流路551および旋回流路552を含むノズルと、ビデ流路553を含むノズルとを有してもよい。
 この場合、使用者が直線流路551および旋回流路552を含むノズルを使用するときには、女性が特に気にするビデ流路553を含むノズルは衛生洗浄装置100内に収納される。これにより、より衛生的な衛生洗浄装置100を提供することができる。
 (8-d-3)上記実施の形態では、水圧力の変動の例として、水圧力を略正弦波状に変動させるが、これに限定されない。例えば、水圧力を三角波状または矩形波状に変動させてもよい。また、水圧力を周期的でなく不規則に変動させてもよい。さらに、水圧力の変動の振幅が一定でなくてもよい。
 (8-d-4)上記実施の形態においては、水ポンプ11(図3)として、小型のピストンポンプが使用されるが、これに限定されない。例えば、プランジャポンプまたはダイアフラムポンプを利用することができる。また、大型のピストンポンプを利用することもできる。この場合、水ポンプ11を本体部200(図1)の外部に設けてもよい。
 水圧力の変動周波数は、水ポンプ11に供給される洗浄水の流量と水ポンプ11の排水量との比により決まる。上記実施の形態では、洗浄水を即時的に加熱する瞬間加熱方式の熱交換器9(図3)を採用する。そのため、水ポンプ11に供給される洗浄水の流量は300~500cc/minとなる。一方、使用される水ポンプ11は限られた空間に取り付けられるため、排水量が0.15ccの小型の水ポンプ11が使用される。この場合、水圧力の変動周波数は33.3~55.6Hzとなる。
 これに対し、大型のピストンポンプを使用する場合、排水量が増加するため、水圧力の変動周波数が高くなる。これにより、第3の圧力関係のように、水塊と空気塊とが不規則に形成された洗浄水をより容易に形成することが可能になる。
 (8-d-5)上記実施の形態においては、水圧力および空気圧力を適切に設定するために、流量センサ8(図3)の流量に基づいて、制御部90(図3)が水ポンプ11(図3)および空気ポンプ14(図3)を制御する。水圧力および空気圧力を設定するための制御量は、洗浄水と空気とを合流させるT字管503(図5)の形状により異なる。
 図23(a),(b),(c),(d)は、T字管503の例を示す図である。
 図23(a)の例では、直線状に設けられた洗浄水流入管503aおよび空気流入管503bに対して流出管503cが垂直に設けられる。洗浄水流入管503a、空気流入管503bおよび流出管503cの内径は、例えば2.5mmである。
 図23(b)の例では、直線状に設けられた洗浄水流入管503aおよび流出管503cに対して空気流入管503bが傾斜するように設けられる。洗浄水流入管503aおよび流出管503cの内径は、例えば6.0mmであり、空気流入管503bの内径は、例えば1.0mmである。
 図23(c)の例では、直線状に設けられた空気流入管503bおよび流出管503cに対して洗浄水流入管503aが垂直に設けられる。洗浄水流入管503a、空気流入管503bおよび流出管503cの内径は、例えば6.0mmであり、空気流入管503b内には、例えば1.15mmの内径を有するイジェクタ503dが設けられる。
 図23(d)の例では、直線状に設けられた洗浄水流入管503aおよび流出管503cに対して空気流入管503bが垂直に設けられる。洗浄水流入管503aおよび流出管503cの内径は、例えば6.0mmであり、空気流入管503bとして、例えば1.3mmの内径を有するイジェクタが用いられる。
 上記実施の形態においては、図23(a)に示すT字管503が用いられるが、これに限定されない。水ポンプ11および空気ポンプ14への制御量に応じて図23(b)~図23(d)に示すT字管が用いられてもよい。
 (8-d-6)上記実施の形態においては、流量センサ8(図3)により得られる洗浄水の流量と、図3の空気ポンプ14への駆動パルスのデューティ比との関係が予めマップとして記憶され、マップを用いて駆動パルスのデューティ比を制御することにより人体洗浄ノズル540から噴出される洗浄水の圧力が使用者により設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力に制御されるが、これに限定されない。例えば、図5のT字管503とおしり噴出口555aとの間に圧力検出器を設け、圧力検出器により検出される圧力に基づいて図3の水ポンプ11を制御することにより、人体洗浄ノズル540から噴出される圧力を使用者により設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力に制御してもよい。
 (8-d-7)第3の圧力関係において、空気圧力の変動周波数は水圧力の変動周波数よりも低くなるように制御されるが、これに限定されない。例えば、水圧力の変動周波数および空気圧力の変動周波数の少なくとも一方を不規則に変動させる制御を行ってもよい。
 この場合、図3の直線流路551内で、水塊と空気塊とをさらに不規則に形成することができる。そのため、図16のおしり洗浄水噴出口555aから噴出される水塊の大きさはさらに不規則になる。このような洗浄水を使用することにより、使用者はより不規則な刺激を得ることができるとともに、便意をより促進させることができる。
 (8-d-8)水ポンプ11の能力が使用者により設定可能な最大の洗浄強さを達成することができない場合に、空気ポンプ14による空気圧力を上昇させることにより、人体洗浄ノズル540から噴出される洗浄水の圧力を最大の洗浄強さに対応する圧力に制御してもよい。
 (9)請求項の各構成要素と実施の形態の各部との対応関係
 以下、請求項の各構成要素と実施の形態の各部との対応の例について説明するが、本発明は下記の例に限定されない。
 上記実施の形態においては、水ポンプ11が洗浄水供給装置および洗浄水加圧装置の例であり、空気ポンプ14が空気供給装置および空気加圧装置の例であり、孔部540hが噴出口の例であり、人体洗浄ノズル540が噴出装置の例であり、直線流路551が流路の例であり、T字管503が合流部の例であり、遠隔操作装置300が操作部の例であり、流量センサ8が流量検出器の例であり、熱交換器9が瞬間式加熱装置の例である。
 請求項の各構成要素として、請求項に記載されている構成または機能を有する他の種々の要素を用いることもできる。
 本発明は、人体の局部を洗浄する衛生洗浄装置に有効に利用することができる。

Claims (12)

  1. 洗浄水を変動する圧力で供給する洗浄水供給装置と、
     空気を供給する空気供給装置と、
     噴出口を有し、前記洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水および前記空気供給装置により供給される空気を前記噴出口から噴出する噴出装置とを備え、
     前記噴出装置からの洗浄水の噴出期間内に少なくとも1回、前記噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力が前記噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力よりも高くなるように前記洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水の圧力および前記空気供給装置により供給される空気の圧力が設定される、衛生洗浄装置。
  2. 前記噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力は、前記噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の最大値よりも低くなるように設定される、請求項1記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  3. 前記空気供給装置は、空気を一定の圧力で供給する、請求項1記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  4. 前記空気供給装置は、空気を変動する圧力で供給する、請求項1記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  5. 前記空気供給装置は、空気を周期的に変動する圧力で加圧する空気加圧装置を含み、
     前記洗浄水供給装置は、前記給水源から供給される洗浄水を周期的に変動する圧力で加圧する洗浄水加圧装置を含み、
     前記噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の最大値が前記噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の最小値よりも高くなるように、前記洗浄水加圧装置により加圧される洗浄水の圧力および前記空気加圧装置により加圧される空気の圧力が設定される、請求項1記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  6. 前記噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の変動周波数が前記噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の変動周波数よりも高くなるように、前記洗浄水加圧装置により加圧される洗浄水の圧力および前記空気加圧装置により加圧される空気の圧力が設定される、請求項5記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  7. 前記噴出装置に供給される空気の圧力の変動周波数が前記噴出装置に供給される洗浄水の圧力の変動周波数よりも低くなるように、前記洗浄水加圧装置により加圧される洗浄水の圧力および前記空気加圧装置により加圧される空気の圧力が設定される、請求項5記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  8. 前記噴出装置は、前記洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水および前記空気供給装置により供給される空気を前記噴出口に導く流路をさらに有し、
     前記流路内を流動する洗浄水が空気により分断されるように前記洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水の圧力および前記空気供給装置により供給される空気の圧力が設定される、請求項1記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  9. 前記洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水および前記空気供給装置により供給される空気を合流させて前記噴出装置の前記流路に導く合流部をさらに備える、請求項8記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  10. 洗浄強さを設定するために使用者により操作される操作部と、
     前記噴出装置から噴出される洗浄水の圧力が前記操作部の操作により設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力になるように前記洗浄水供給装置および前記空気供給装置の少なくとも一方を制御する制御部とをさらに備える、請求項1記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  11. 前記洗浄水供給装置により供給される洗浄水の流量を検出する流量検出器をさらに備え、
     前記制御部は、前記流量検出器により検出された流量に基づいて前記噴出装置から噴出された洗浄水の圧力が前記操作部の操作により設定された洗浄強さに対応する圧力になるように前記洗浄水供給装置および前記空気供給装置の少なくとも一方を制御する、請求項10記載の衛生洗浄装置。
  12. 前記噴出装置からの洗浄水の噴出期間に前記供給源から供給される洗浄水を流動させつつ加熱して前記洗浄水供給装置に供給する瞬間式加熱装置をさらに備える、請求項1記載の衛生洗浄装置。
