Abstract

Es wird ein Gewindebohrer (10) mit einem Schaft (12) und einer am freien Ende vorgesehenen Gewindeschneide (13) und einer am Schaft angeordneten Einspannfläche (14) beschrieben, bei welchem im Bereich des anderen Endes eine Sollbruchstelle (15) vorgesehen ist, an welcher der Gewindebohrer bei Bruchbelastung abbricht. Ferner wird ein Werkzeughalter (31) für eine Bohrmaschine, einen Drehautomaten oder ein Bearbeitungscenter mit einem Einspannmittel (33) für ein Werkzeug, insbesondere einen Gewindebohrer, und mit einer Antriebswelle (35) beschrieben. Das Einspannmittel (33) ist dabei in Längsrichtung beweglich im Werkzeughalter (31) gelagert und mittels Druckfedern (46) in einer zurückgezogenen Stellung im Werkzeughalter bringbar.
