Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil numérique d'apprentissage des langues. Cet appareil est un lecteur de fichiers vocaux comprimés (MP3, WMA, etc.) qui est pourvu d'un bouton poussoir destiné uniquement à l'apprentissage des langues, distinct d'un bouton servant uniquement à l'écoute de la musique, et qui sert à numériser le fonctionnement des appareils conventionnels d'apprentissage des langues utilisant des cassettes à bandes magnétiques. L'invention donne ainsi aux utilisateurs l'impression d'utiliser des appareils d'apprentissage des langues utilisant des cassettes à bandes magnétiques, mais demande moins de force dans les doigts pour faire fonctionner l'appareil d'apprentissage des langues au niveau optimal, ce qui permet de réduire la fatigue pendant l'apprentissage. L'appareil numérique d'apprentissage des langues de l'invention utilise une mémoire à semi-conducteurs, d'une part pour résoudre le problème posé par les courtes durées de reproduction dans le cas des cassettes à bandes magnétiques, et d'autre part pour conserver des gros fichiers d'apprentissage des langues. L'appareil numérique d'apprentissage des langues de l'invention gère une fonction automatique de révision qui, d'une part garde en mémoire des fichiers d'historique constitués de données d'historique impliquant l'opération de commutation effectuée pour la reproduction desdits fichiers d'apprentissage des langues, et qui, d'autre part, reproduit automatiquement au moyen de ces fichiers d'historique, les fichiers d'apprentissage des langues concernés, de la même façon que l'utilisateur l'a fait pour étudier le plus récemment quand il révise les fichiers d'apprentissage des langues concernés. En l'occurrence, lesdites données d'historique notamment des adresses et des valeurs conservées dans la mémoire dans laquelle on a établi les correspondances entre, d'une part les endroits auxquels ont été actionnés les boutons poussoirs pour le seul apprentissage des langues et analogues (bouton lecture, bouton pose de repère et bouton de révision) utilisés pour la reproduction des fichiers d'apprentissage des langues, et d'autre part les moments où le poussoir a été actionné.
