Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un dispositif permettant de gérer la consommation d'énergie d'un appareil électrique pouvant être connecté à un bloc d'alimentation extérieur, comprenant : une entrée pouvant être connectée au bloc d'alimentation; une sortie pouvant être connectée à l'appareil électrique; une connexion électrique commutable entre l'entrée et la sortie afin de permettre ou d'empêcher le bloc d'alimentation extérieur de fournir une alimentation électrique à l'appareil électrique au moyen du dispositif; un capteur permettant de fournir un signal de sortie indiquant le courant fourni à l'appareil électrique au moyen de la connexion électrique commutable ou indiquant une condition environnementale; et un microcontrôleur connecté au capteur et à la connexion électrique commutable qui, en réponse à un signal de sortie prédéterminé provenant du capteur, empêche l'appareil électrique et le microcontrôleur d'être alimentés électriquement. Un dispositif selon la présente invention permet de réduire la consommation d'énergie d'appareils électriques et peut lui-même être dans un mode lui permettant de ne consommer aucune énergie, ce qui permet d'obtenir une consommation d'énergie totale nulle.
