Abstract

La présente invention concerne un emballage de transport de tubes (1) comportant une paire d'éléments de confinement de tubes complémentaires (2, 5) pour contenir un ou des tubes (v), contenant typiquement un échantillon médical pour essai. Les éléments de confinement de tubes complémentaires comprennent des formations (8, 9) s'étendant sans fin autour de la périphérie de chaque élément, et configurées pour être complémentaires à la formation sur l'autre élément, les formations étant ajustées les unes aux autres en une paire convexe/concave. Au moins un des éléments de confinement est muni d'une feuille de matériau super-absorbant (7), soit stratifiée à l'élément, soit sous forme d'une feuille séparée. L'emballage de transport comporte également des éléments de retenue (11, 17) pour le maintien des formations périphériques des éléments de confinement l'une contre l'autre. Par conséquent, toute fuite de liquide depuis les tubes entraîne un gonflement du matériau super-absorbant à l'intérieur de la paire convexe/concave de formations pour interdire le passage de liquide au-delà des formations.
