Abstract

3차원 영상 표시 장치는, 좌 영상 및 우 영상을 화면 전체에 교대로 표시하는 표시부와, 상기 표시부의 전면에 배치된 것으로, 수평라인 단위로 입사광의 편광방향을 전환시키는 편광부 및 상기 편광부의 수평라인의 편광방향이 상기 수평라인에 대응하는 상기 표시부의 수평라인의 갱신 시간에 동기 되어 전환되도록 제어하는 편광 제어부를 포함한다. 따라서, 좌 영상과 우 영상 간의 화면 갱신에 맞추어 편광방향의 전환이 이루어지도록 함으로써 3차원 영상 표시에 있어서의 간섭(cross talk) 현상을 최소화하고 3차원 영상의 사용자 만족도를 높일 수 있다.
