 車両の車体左右方向の外側面にラジエータ67が搭載される小型車両の水冷式パワーユニット構造において、走行風を利用して内燃機関16の冷却性を向上させる構造が開示される。上記ラジエータ67には、同ラジエータ67へ冷却風を案内するルーバー69を備えたラジエータカバー68が設けられ、上記ラジエータカバー68の後部はラジエータカバー68の前部より横方向外方へ張り出して取付けられる。上記ラジエータカバー68に形成されているルーバー69は、車両側面視で、前傾した形状で並列に設けられた複数の羽根板69aで構成され、下部車体カバー13Aには、後方斜め上方の上記ルーバー69へ向けて走行風をガイドする冷却風ガイド孔70が設けられる。

Description

水冷式パワーユニットのラジエータ冷却構造
 本発明は、小型車両における水冷式パワーユニットのラジエータ冷却構造に関するものである。
 従来の小型車両における水冷式パワーユニットのラジエータ冷却構造においては、ラジエータ及びラジエータカバーは、共に車体軸線に対して平行に配置されており、ラジエータの冷却性向上のために走行風を積極的に利用する構造とはなっていなかった(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

 本発明は、走行風を積極的に利用して内燃機関の冷却性を向上させようとするものである。
 本発明は上記課題を解決したものであって、本発明は、
車両の車体左右方向の外側面にラジエータが搭載される小型車両の水冷式パワーユニットのラジエータ冷却構造において、
上記ラジエータには、同ラジエータへ冷却風を案内するルーバーを備えたラジエータカバーが設けられ、上記ラジエータカバーの後部はラジエータカバーの前部より横方向外方へ張り出して取付けられることを特徴とする水冷式パワーユニットのラジエータ冷却構造に関するものである。
 本発明の好適な実施形態は、
上記ラジエータカバーに形成されているルーバーは、車両側面視で、前傾した形状で並列に設けられた複数の羽根板で構成され、下部車体カバーには、斜め上方の上記ルーバーへ向けて走行風をガイドする冷却風ガイド穴が設けられる。

 本発明によれば、
ルーバーの羽根板は、前部から後部にかけて順次車幅方向外方へ張り出した位置となるので、車両前方から来る走行風を効率よくラジエータへ導くことが可能となり、内燃機関の冷却性を向上させることができる。
 車体カバーの冷却風ガイド穴とルーバーとを協働させることによって、冷却性を向上させることができる。複数の羽根板が前傾して並列に設けられているのは、羽根板の前縁を冷却風ガイド穴から導かれる走行風に直交させて、羽根板からラジエータへ向かう冷却風の案内を効率化するためである。
 ルーバーを、車体に付属している強度の高い部材によって保護することができる。
 ピリオンステップや、そのステーによって、ルーバーを、車両側部上方からの外力に対して保護することができる。
 車体カバー後縁のコ字状断面部によって、車両側方からの外力に対してルーバーの変形を防止することができる。
 走行スピードの増加に伴い、ラジエータカバーの後部側の内側に集中する走行風を、効率よくラジエータの方へ方向転換させて導くことが可能となり、運転時の冷却効率を更に向上させることができる。
 走行スピードの増加に伴ってルーバー内で圧力増加した空気を洩れなくラジエータに導くことが可能となり、運転時の冷却効率を更に向上させることができる。また、走行風がルーバーを通過する時に生じる振動音を低減することができる。
 給油口の側方には車体カバーは無いが、ラジエータカバーがあるので、給油口はラジエータカバーの後部で保護される。さらに、ラジエータが前下がりであることによって給油口の上側空間が広くなっているので、給油のための作業性を高めることができる。
 ラジエータカバーに設けてある給水口保護部によって同乗者の足が給水口の方へ行くことが防がれるので、同乗者の足が給水口の方へ行くことを防止するための専用部材を、ピリオンステップの内側に設置することを省くことができる。
 ラジエータへ冷却風を案内するラジエータカバーは、後部が前部より車幅方向外方へ張り出した位置に取付けられる。縦長に形成されるラジエータ及びラジエータカバーは、前後方向に長く形成される場合に比して、ラジエータカバー後部の横方向張り出し量を低減することができる。
また、上部の貯水タンクの上縁部に設けられる冷却水流入ジョイントは前向きであるため、冷却水循環ホースは全て前方にまとめられるので、クランクケースの後部にある給油口、及びラジエータ上部にある給水口の作業スペースを確保することができる。また、縦長で、給水口が上部にあるので、貯水タンク内のエアー抜きが容易となり、給水性を向上させることができる。

 図1は本発明の一実施形態に係るパワーユニット1を搭載した自動二輪車2の左面図である。この自動二輪車2の車体フレームは、ヘッドパイプと、ヘッドパイプから後下がりに伸びるメインフレームと、一端がメインフレームの後部に接続されて後上がりに伸びる左右一対のリヤフレームと、その他の複数のフレームとから構成されている。ヘッドパイプに回転可能に支承されているフロントフォーク3の下端には前輪4が軸支され、フロントフォーク3の上部には操向ハンドル5が連結されている。
 上記パワーユニット1は、その前部に一体形成されたハンガー6(図2)と、支持軸7とを介して、上記リヤフレームに固定されたブラケットに、懸架されている。パワーユニット1の後端部に設けられたブラケット14(図2)と、リヤフレームの後部のブラケットとの間にはリヤクッション8が設けてある。これらによってパワーユニット1は、シリンダ軸線を若干前上がりにして揺動可能に懸架されている。パワーユニット1の後部から右方へ突出する後車軸9(図3)に後輪10が取り付けられ、パワーユニット1によって駆動される。
 パワーユニット1の上方にはエアクリーナ11が設けてある。車体フレームには、複数の部分からなる合成樹脂製の車体カバー13が取付けられ、パワーユニット1やその他の機器類を覆っている。
 図2は、パワーユニット1の縦断面左面図である。パワーユニットの説明に用いる「前・後・左・右」は、パワーユニットを搭載する車両の「前・後・左・右」に対応している。図2において、パワーユニット1は、前部の内燃機関16と、内燃機関16の左側から後方へ延びる伝動装置17とから構成されている。伝動装置17は、Vベルト式無段変速機18と歯車減速機19とにより構成されている。
 内燃機関16はロッカーアーム型頭上弁式4ストロークサイクル単気筒水冷式内燃機関である。シリンダヘッド25の上側の吸気ポートに取り付けられるインレットパイプ20にはスロットルボディ21が取付けられ、更にその後方にはエアクリーナ11(図1)が接続される。上記インレットパイプ20には燃料噴射弁22が取付けられている。歯車ケース38の上部から歯車ケースブリーザホース39が延出している。これは、エアクリーナ11の吸気室へ接続される。歯車ケース38の上部に車速センサ49が設けてある。これは、後車軸9に設けられた後車軸大径歯車48(図3)の歯先速度を検知して車速を算出する装置である。
 図3は、図2のIII-III断面図である。図3において、上記内燃機関16の殻体はクランクケース23と、その前部に順次前方へ結合されるシリンダブロック24、シリンダヘッド25、およびシリンダヘッドカバー26、から成っている。クランクケース23は左右半割り式であり、左クランクケース23Lと右クランクケース23Rからなっている。
 クランク軸27は、クランクケース23に支持されたボールベアリング28A,28Bに回転可能に枢支されている。ピストン29は、シリンダブロック24に形成されたシリンダ孔30に摺動可能に嵌装されている。上記ピストン29は、コネクティングロッド31を介して、クランク軸27のクランクピン32に接続され、ピストン29が往復すると、クランク軸27が回転駆動される。ピストン29の上面に対向してシリンダヘッド25の底面に燃焼室33が形成されている。点火プラグ34が、シリンダ孔30の中心軸線に対し左方に傾斜して、シリンダヘッド25に装着されている。
 図3の左半部において、Vベルト式無段変速機18は、変速機ケース37に覆われている。変速機ケース37は、変速機ケース右側部材37Rと変速機ケース左側部材37Lとからなっている。変速機ケース右側部材37Rは左クランクケース23Lと一体に形成されている。変速機ケース左側部材37Lはボルトによって変速機ケース右側部材37Rに結合される。歯車減速機19は変速機ケース右側部材37Rの後部と歯車ケース38とに覆われている。歯車ケース38はボルトによって変速機ケース右側部材37Rに結合される。
 Vベルト式無段変速機18の駆動軸はクランク軸27そのものであり、クランク軸27の左方延長部に、Vベルト式無段変速機18の駆動プーリ40が設けてある。Vベルト式無段変速機18の従動軸41は、変速機ケース左側部材37Lと変速機ケース右側部材37Rと歯車ケース38とにベアリング42A,42B,42Cを介して回転自在に枢支されている。この従動軸41に、遠心クラッチ43を介して従動プーリ44が設けてある。駆動プーリ40と従動プーリ44とに無端状Vベルト45が架渡されている。
 クランク軸27の回転数が増大すると、駆動プーリ40においては、可動半体40Bとランププレート40Dとの間のウエイトローラ40Cが、遠心力により外方へ移動し、可動半体40Bが押されるので駆動プーリ40の固定半体40Aと可動半体40Bとの間隔が狭まりVベルト45の巻き掛け径が大きくなる。これにより、Vベルト45の張力が高まるので、従動プーリ44側では、コイルばね44Dの付勢力に抗して可動半体44Bが動き、固定半体44Aと可動半体44Bとの間隔が広がる。この結果、Vベルト45の巻き掛け径の寸法比に応じて、従動プーリ44の回転数が高まる。従動プーリ44が所定回転数を越えて回転すると、回転スリーブ44Cを介して回転が遠心クラッチ43のクラッチインナ43Bに伝わり、クラッチインナ43Bがクラッチアウタ43Aに接触し、遠心クラッチ43が接続状態となり、従動軸41が回転駆動される。
 歯車減速機19において、その入力軸は上記従動軸41である。後輪10を一体に結合した後車軸9は、変速機ケース右側部材37Rと歯車ケース38とに回転自在に枢支されている。従動軸41と後車軸9との中間に中間軸46が変速機ケース右側部材37Rと歯車ケース38に回転自在に枢支されている。従動軸41のトルクは従動軸ピニオン41a、中間軸大径歯車47、中間軸46、中間軸ピニオン46a、及び後車軸大径歯車48を介して後車軸9に伝達される。後車軸9は従動軸41に対して大幅に減速され、後車軸9と結合されている後輪10が減速駆動される。
 図3の右半部において、クランク軸27のボールベアリング28Bの隣接部に、カムチェーン駆動スプロケット50が形成され、カムチェーン51が巻きかけられている。カムチェーン51はカムチェーン室52を経由して、シリンダヘッド25とシリンダヘッドカバー26の内部のカム軸53に設けられているカムチェーン従動スプロケット54に達している。カム軸53の端部には、ウオータポンプ55が形成されている。クランク軸27の回転に伴って、このウオータポンプ55の吐出口55aから送り出される冷却水はシリンダブロック24のウオータジャケット56や、シリンダヘッド25のウオータジャケット57の中を流通し、ラジエータ67へ送られる。カムチェーン駆動スプロケット50の隣に、バランサ駆動ギヤ58が設けてある。
 クランク軸27の右方延長部には、交流発電機60が設けてある。交流発電機ステータ61は、右クランクケース23Rに取付けられた交流発電機取付け部64に取付け固定されている。交流発電機ロータ62は、クランク軸27の右端に固定され、クランク軸27と共に回転する。交流発電機ロータ62の外面部に遠心ファン63が取付けてある。これは、ラジエータ67に外気を引き込んで、ラジエータ67における冷却を促進するためのものである。
 遠心ファン63の右側において、右クランクケース23Rに取付けられたラジエータ保持部材66を介してラジエータ67が取付けられている。このラジエータ67の右側は、同ラジエータ67へ冷却風を案内するラジエータカバー68によって覆われている。ラジエータカバー68に形成されたルーバー69の羽根板69aは、前部から後部にかけて順次車幅方向外方へ張り出した位置に形成されている。このため、車両前方から来る走行風を効率よくラジエータ67へ導くことが可能となり、内燃機関の冷却性を向上させることができる。
 図4は、上記ラジエータ67とラジエータカバー68とを取り除いた状態のパワーユニット1の右面図である。交流発電機ステータ61、交流発電機ロータ62、及び遠心ファン63は、クランク軸27の右端部の空間を3分割して示してある。交流発電機ステータ61が最も奥にあり、遠心ファン63が最も手前側に設けてあり、交流発電機ロータ62はその中間に設けてある。ラジエータ冷却ファン63によって交流発電機60収容室側へ吸い込まれた冷却風は、交流発電機60収容室の上部の冷却風排出口99と下部の冷却風排出口(図示なし)から排出される。
 クランクケース23の下部にオイルパン35が設けてあり、クランクケース23内への給油のために、オイルパン35に連なる筒状の給油口71が、斜め後方に向けて立設され、給油口キャップ72が設けてある。シリンダヘッド25とシリンダヘッドカバー26の右側にウオータポンプ55が設けてある。ウオータポンプ55に連なる配管については後述する。クランク軸27の後方にVベルト式無段変速機18と歯車減速機19が設けてある。後車軸9には後輪取付け座15が設けてある。
 図5は、遠心ファン63の右側にラジエータ67が取付けられている状態のパワーユニット1の右面図である。同ラジエータ67は、給油口71の前側に配置されている。同ラジエータ67の上下には、貯水用の上部タンク73と下部タンク74が配置され、ラジエータ67は車両側面視で前下がりに傾斜して設けられている。
 上部タンク73には冷却水流入ジョイント73aが、下部タンク74には冷却水流出ジョイント74aが設けてある。冷却水流入ジョイント73aから流入した冷却水は、ラジエータ上部タンク73から、放熱コア75を経由して、ラジエータ下部タンク74へ向かって流れ、放熱コア75に側方から流通する外気によって冷却され、冷却水流出ジョイント74aから流出する。上記ラジエータ67は、上部タンク73に給水口76と給水口キャップ77を備えている。ラジエータ67は縦長で、給水口76が上部タンク73の上面後部に設けてあるので、給水時における給水口76からのラジエータ67内のエアー抜きが容易であり、給水の作業性が向上する。
 ラジエータ下部タンク74から流出する冷却水の内燃機関16における循環は次のように行われる。まず、ラジエータ下部タンク74から流出する冷却水は、冷却水流出ジョイント74aからラジエータ流出ホース78を経て温度検知式切替弁79へ送られる。内燃機関16の通常運転中は、上記冷却水は、温度検知式切替弁79からウオータポンプ吸入筒部80を経てウオータポンプ55に吸い込まれ、ウオータポンプ55の吐出口55aから吐出ホース81を介してシリンダブロック24のウオータジャケット56(図3)へ送られる。シリンダブロックのウオータジャケット56はシリンダヘッド25のウオータジャケット57(図3)に連通している。これらのウオータジャケット56、57を流れて、シリンダブロック24とシリンダヘッド25とを冷却した冷却水は、高温となり、シリンダヘッド25の右側上部に設けられた分岐接続管85からラジエータ流入ホース86と冷却水流入ジョイント73aを介してラジエータ上部タンク73へ戻る。上記の冷却水循環経路は、内燃機関16の通常運転中のものである。
 内燃機関16が十分に温まっていない暖機運転時には、温度検知式切替弁79はラジエータ下部タンク74からラジエータ流出ホース78を経て流入する水経路の弁を閉じ、分岐接続管85からバイパスホース87を経て流入する水経路の弁を開く。これによって、冷却水はラジエータを経由することなくウオータジャケット56、57へ送られ循環する。冷却水温度が上昇すると、温度検知式切替弁79では、バイパスホース87からの水経路が閉じ、ラジエータ下部タンク74から流入する水経路が開き、前述の通常運転時の冷却水循環が行われる。
 ウオータポンプ55内で発生する気泡は、ウオータポンプ55の上部に接続されているエア抜きホース88を経て、上記分岐接続管85へ送られ、ラジエータ流入ホース86を経てラジエータ上部タンク73へ流入する。気泡は、水蒸気や膨張した水と共に、ラジエータ上部タンク73に設けられたオーバーフロー排出管89(図9(b))から排出され、オーバーフローホースを介して下方に設けてあるリザーバタンク(図示なし)へ送られる。
 図6は上記ラジエータ67の右側にラジエータカバー68が取付けられた状態のパワーユニット1の右面図である。上記ラジエータカバー68に形成されているルーバー69は複数の羽根板69aで構成され、同複数の羽根板69aは、前傾した形状で並列に設けられている。
 ラジエータ67及びラジエータカバー68は縦長に形成されているので、後部の給油口71への給油の作業スペースを広く確保することが出来る。さらに、ラジエータ67が前下がりであることによって給油口71の上側空間が広くなっているので、給油のための作業性を高めることができる。
 また、上部タンク73の上縁部に設けられている冷却水流入ジョイント73aは前向きであるため、ラジエータ流入ホース86等の冷却水循環ホースは全て前方にまとめられるので、ラジエータ上部にある給水口76への給水作業の邪魔にならない。
 図7は、上記パワーユニット1を搭載した自動二輪車2の右面図である。パワーユニット1の右半部の大部分は、下部車体カバー13Aに覆われ、ラジエータカバー68の半分と給油口キャップ72だけが見えている。後輪10の手前側にマフラー36が設けてある。パワーユニット1の左半部に設けてあるVベルト式無段変速機18と歯車減速機19は後輪10に隠れているので見えない。給油口71の側方には下部車体カバー13Aは無いが、ラジエータカバー68があるので、給油口71はラジエータカバー68の後部で保護される。
 下部車体カバー13Aの後部には、走行風をガイドする冷却風ガイド孔70が設けられ、後方斜め上方のルーバーへ向けて、走行風を案内する。ラジエータカバー68に形成されているルーバー69の羽根板69aが前傾して並列に設けられているのは、羽根板の前縁を冷却風ガイド孔70から導かれる走行風に直交させて、羽根板69aからラジエータ67へ向かう冷却風の案内を効率化するためである。下部車体カバー13Aの冷却風ガイド孔70とルーバー69とを協働させることによって、ラジエータ67の冷却性を向上させている。ラジエータカバー68の前部は、車体側面視で冷却風ガイド孔70と重なるように延長されている。これは、ラジエータ67の前方の機器類を、冷却風ガイド孔70から飛び込む飛び石から保護するためである。
 下部車体カバー13Aの後部の上側には、後部乗車者が足を載せるピリオンステップ91が設けてある。ピリオンステップ91や、そのステー(図示なし)は、強度の高い部材である。したがって、ピリオンステップ91や、そのステーによって、ルーバー69を、車両側部上方からの外力に対して、保護することができる。
 上記ピリオンステップ91は、その前部の鉛直回動軸回りに回動して側方に開く。ピリオンステップ91の後部があった位置の下方の下部車体カバー13Aの後部上面は、後部シートの乗車者の靴の踵の部分を載せる踵載せ部94となっている。踵載せ部94を支える部分から下方へ、冷却風ガイド孔70の後部に至る下部車体カバー13Aの後縁部は、コ字形断面の強度の高い部分93となっている。この部分は強度が大であるので、車両側方からの外力に対してルーバー69を保護することができる。
 図8はクランクケースの右側部と下部車体カバー13Aの後部の位置関係を示す水平断面図である。下部車体カバー13Aの後縁部は、コ字形断面の強度の高い部分93となっている。冷却風ガイド孔70から、ラジエータカバー69の方へ走行風98が吹き付けられ、走行風98はラジエータ67へ送られる。ラジエータ67及びラジエータカバー68は、ラジエータ保持部材66を介して、右クランクケース23Rに取り付けてある。上記ラジエータ67とラジエータカバー68の間の空間において、ラジエータカバー68の後部側に気流の方向転換用空間95として、ラジエータカバー68の前部側より広い空間が、確保されている。これにより、走行スピードの増加に伴ってラジエータカバー68の内側の後部側に集中する走行風を、効率よくラジエータ67の方へ方向転換させて導くことが可能となり、運転時の冷却効率を更に向上させることができる。
 図9はラジエータ67の3面図であり、(a)は右側面図、(b)は前面図、(c)は上面図である。ラジエータ67の中央部は、角形の放熱コア75でありその上部および下部に、上部タンク73と下部タンク74が設けてある。上部タンク73の上部には給水口76とその上部を覆う給水口キャップ77が設けてある。上部タンク73の前部には、冷却水流入ジョイント73aが前向きに設けてあり、前記ラジエータ流入ホース86が接続される。上部タンク73の左側部には、オーバーフロー排出管89が設けてある。オーバーフロー排出管89は、オーバーフローホースを介して、低い位置に設けてあるリザーバタンク(図示なし)に接続される。下部タンク74の前部には、冷却水流出ジョイント74aが前向きに設けてあり、前記ラジエータ流出ホース78が接続される。下部タンクにはドレン排出口90が設けてある。
 図10はラジエータカバー68の外面図である。ラジエータカバー68の上部には、図6に示されるように、上部タンク73の給水口76の側面を覆って保護する給水口保護部68aが設けてある。給水口保護部68aは、図7に示されるように、ピリオンステップ91の内側に位置するように配置されている。この給水口保護部68aによって同乗者の足が給水口76の方へ行くことが防がれる。また、同乗者の足が給水口の方へ行くことを防止するための専用部材を、ピリオンステップ91の内側に別途設置する必要がなくなる。
 ラジエータカバー68の下部には、下部タンク保護部86bが設けてある。これによって、路面からの飛び石等による下部タンク74の損傷が防がれる。ラジエータカバーの前後3箇所に取付けねじ挿通孔97が設けてある。また下部タンク保護部86bは、図6、図7に示されるように、給油口71も保護している。
 図11はラジエータカバー68の内面図である。上記ラジエータカバー68の内面には、ラジエータ67の放熱コア75を囲むようにシール部材96が配置されている。走行スピードの増加に伴ってラジエータカバー68の内側で圧力増加した空気を洩れなくラジエータ67に導くことが可能となるので、運転時の冷却効率を更に向上させることができる。また、走行風がルーバー69を通過する時に生じる振動音を低減することができる。
 以上詳述したように、上記実施形態においては次の効果がもたらされる。
(1)ルーバーの羽根板は、前部から後部にかけて順次車幅方向外方へ張り出した位置となるので、車両前方から来る走行風を効率よくラジエータへ導くことが可能となり、内燃機関の冷却性を向上させることができる。
(2)車体カバーの冷却風ガイド穴とルーバーとを協働させることによって、冷却性を向上させることができる。
(3)ルーバーを、車体に付属している強度の高い部材によって保護することができる。
(4)ピリオンステップや、そのステーによって、ルーバーを、車両側部上方からの外力に対して保護することができる。
(5)車体カバー後縁のコ字状断面部によって、車両側方からの外力に対してルーバーの変形を防止することができる。
(6)走行スピードの増加に伴い、ラジエータカバーの後部空間によって、ラジエータカバーの後部側の内側に集中する走行風を、効率よくラジエータの方へ方向転換させて導くことが可能となり、運転時の冷却効率を更に向上させることができる。
(7)ラジエータカバー内面にはラジエータの放熱コア部を囲むようにシール部材が配置されているので、走行スピードの増加に伴ってラジエータカバー内で圧力増加した空気を洩れなくラジエータに導くことが可能となり、運転時の冷却効率を更に向上させることができる。また、走行風がルーバーを通過する時に生じる振動音を低減することができる。
(8)給油口はラジエータカバーの後部で保護される。さらに、ラジエータが前下がりであることによって給油口の上側空間が広くなっているので、給油のための作業性を高めることができる。
(9)ラジエータカバーに設けてある給水口保護部によって同乗者の足が給水口の方へ行くことが防がれるので、同乗者の足が給水口の方へ行くことを防止するための専用部材を、ピリオンステップの内側に設置することを省くことができる。
(10)ラジエータ及びラジエータカバーは縦長に形成されているので、後部の給油口への作業スペースを広く確保することが出来る。また、上部の貯水タンクの上縁部に設けられる冷却水流入ジョイント部は前向きであるため、冷却水循環ホースは全て前方にまとめられるので、ラジエータ上部にある給水口の作業スペースを確保することができる。また、ラジエータは縦長で、給水口が上部にあるので、貯水タンク内のエアー抜きが容易となり、給水性を向上させることができる。

Claims (10)

  1. 車両の車体左右方向の外側面にラジエータが搭載される小型車両の水冷式パワーユニット構造において、
    上記ラジエータには、同ラジエータへ冷却風を案内するルーバーを備えたラジエータカバーが設けられ、上記ラジエータカバーの後部はラジエータカバーの前部より横方向外方へ張り出して取付けられることを特徴とする水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  2. 上記ラジエータカバーに形成されているルーバーは、車両側面視で、前傾した形状で並列に設けられた複数の羽根板で構成され、下部車体カバーには、後方斜め上方の上記ルーバーへ向けて走行風をガイドする冷却風ガイド孔が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  3. 上記ルーバーは、車体に付属している部材の車幅方向内側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  4. 車体に付属している上記部材は、ピリオンステップや、そのステーであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  5. 車体に付属している上記部材は、踵載せ部を支える車体カバー後縁の補強部であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  6. 上記ラジエータとラジエータカバーの間の空間において、ラジエータカバーの後部側にラジエータカバーの前部側より広い空間が、気流の方向転換用空間として確保されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  7. 上記ラジエータカバーの内面には、ラジエータの放熱コア部を囲むようにシール部材が配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  8. 上記ラジエータは内燃機関のクランク軸端部に設けられており、同ラジエータはクランク室内への給油のための給油口の前側に配置され、同ラジエータの上下には貯水タンクが配置され、同ラジエータは車両側面視で前下がりに傾斜して設けられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5の何れかに記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  9. 上記ラジエータは、上部の貯水タンクに一体に設けられた給水口を備え、同給水口の側面を覆うようラジエータカバーに設けられた給水口保護部が、ピリオンステップの内側に位置するように配置されることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項8に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
  10. 上記ラジエータ及びラジエータカバーは縦長に形成され、上部の貯水タンクの上縁部に一体に冷却水流入ジョイント部が前向きに設けられることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項8に記載の水冷式パワーユニット構造。
