Abstract

La présente invention concerne une méthode et un système pour évaluer la classe d'une donnée de test dans un espace de données de dimension D où D ≥ 3, chaque donnée appartenant à au moins une classe regroupant plusieurs données. La méthode comporte une étape de projection d'un jeu de données de référence de l'espace de données dans un espace de dimension Q où Q < D, la classe de chaque donnée de référence étant connue. La méthode comporte également une étape de calcul d'une mesure de similarité de la donnée de test à chacune des données de référence. La méthode comporte également une étape de partitionnement de l'espace de projection en une pluralité de régions disjointes contenant chacune la projection d'une et une seule donnée de référence. La méthode comporte enfin une étape d'évaluation de la classe de la donnée de test, cette classe étant évaluée comme étant la même classe qu'une des données de référence contenue dans une des régions contenant les données de référence les plus proches de la donnée de test au sens de la mesure de similarité. En effet, ces régions sont les régions les plus susceptibles de contenir une projection de la donnée de test.
