Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) (2) für ein Luftfahrzeug (1). Erfindungsgemäß weist sie auf: a) einen ersten Hauptspeicher (7), der die für die Zertifizierung der LRU (2) erforderliche Software enthält, b) einen vom ersten Hauptspeicher (7) getrennten zweiten Hauptspeicher (8), in den ein Nutzer der LRU Individual- software speichern kann, die die Zertifizierungsbasis der LRU nicht beeinträchtigt. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ferner eine Anordnung aus einer erfindungsgemäßen LRU und einer Datenbank (12) mit entsprechender Individualsoftware sowie ein entsprechendes Verfahren zum Betreiben einer LRU.
