Abstract

L'invention porte sur des pouzzolanes modifiées et sur des procédés pour la fabrication de pouzzolanes modifiées qui présentent les caractéristiques chimiques voulues. Les caractéristiques chimiques voulues sont obtenues par l'introduction d'une ou de plusieurs substances supplémentaires dans l'usine de production qui produit les pouzzolanes (par exemple, en général, sous forme d'un déchet tel que des cendres volantes ou du laitier). La substance supplémentaire est incorporée dans la pouzzolane pendant sa formation dans l'usine de production et devient un constituant chimique intégré de la pouzzolane. Grâce à la formation de la pouzzolane présentant les caractéristiques voulues dans l'usine de production, la pouzzolane peut avoir une efficacité optimale lorsqu'elle est mélangée avec du ciment Portland pour être utilisée dans du béton.
