- D-SR Shared Dedicated-Scheduling Request
- the UL grant can be addressed to a new SR-RNTI. That is, a new SR-RNTI can be configured per group of shared terminals.
- PUCCH format 1a or PUCCH format 1b may be used for the SR.
- PUCCH format 1a two terminals may be identified.
- four terminals may be identified when PUCCH format 1b is used.
- the base station may transmit a general UL grant to the identified terminal.
- the base station In case two or more terminals share the same SR resource, the base station cannot distinguish whether one or more terminals use one SR. In this case, the base station may (1) allocate a shared UL grant to the terminal or (2) allocate a dedicated grant for each terminal whenever receiving a shared SR.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a case where a base station allocates a shared UL grant to a terminal.
- the base station After the base station allocates the shared UL grant to the terminal, if HARQ transmission is unlikely to succeed, the base station may allocate a dedicated grant to all the terminals sharing the corresponding SR.
- an eNB establishes a connection with a UE by informing information (eg, offset information and period information, etc.) of radio resources required for transmitting a shared scheduling request (SR) to one or more UEs.
- the shared scheduling request resource refers to a PUCCH resource used by the terminal to make a scheduling request to the base station, and may be allocated to two or more terminals in duplicate.
- the resources may be distinguished from each other by a physical time / frequency region and a sequence (sequence or code) (S510).
- the terminal may transmit a shared scheduling request (SR) signal to the base station to request uplink resource allocation based on the information on the radio resource received in step S510 (S520).
- SR shared scheduling request
- the base station Upon receiving the SR, the base station allocates a shared uplink resource to the terminal and may transmit a PDCCH signal including the shared UL grant to the terminal to inform the terminal of the shared uplink resource (S530).
- the terminal transmits the UL data to the base station through the allocated shared UL resources (ie, PUSCH) (S540).
- the allocated shared UL resources ie, PUSCH
- the base station transmits a NACK (non-Acknowlegdment) signal to the terminal (S550).
- NACK non-Acknowlegdment
- the base station may allocate a dedicated UL resource to each terminal to allocate a new uplink resource. For example, the base station may allocate a dedicated UL grant for each of the terminals sharing the SR. Alternatively, the base station may allocate a dedicated UL grant to some of the terminals sharing the SR, and perform non-adaptive HARQ retransmission on the shared PUSCH resources to the other terminals (S560).
- the base station may allocate a dedicated grant for each terminal.
- the SR is shared by multiple terminals through a dedicated signaling configuration, the base station can allocate a dedicated UL grant for each terminal.
- the base station allocates a dedicated UL grant to each terminal each time the base station receives the SR, the PUSCH resource consumption may be less than the CB transmission on the PUSCH (CB-PUSCH).
- FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating one of methods of using PUCCH formats 1a and 1b for shared PUCCH-SR.
- each UE can share the same SR without collision by using PUCCH format 1a or 1b. That is, even if two UEs transmit an SR in the same TTI, the base station can successfully detect the SR and identify each UE.
- the contention-based uplink channel is a channel allocated because the base station cannot predict when a scheduling request (SR) or bandwidth request (BR) of each terminal is needed.
- the terminal may need to quickly communicate with the base station in an emergency situation or a high speed environment. In this case, it may be inefficient for any terminal to perform a process of establishing a connection through a plurality of signaling with the base station. Therefore, a contention-based uplink channel is used when an arbitrary terminal needs to perform fast communication with a base station.
- FIG. 7 illustrates an example of a scheduling request procedure associated with contention-based uplink data transmission.
- a base station may request resource information (ie, SR resource information) required for a shared dedicated scheduling request (D-SR) and resource information for a contention-based uplink channel to one or more UEs. That is, CB resource information) may be transmitted (S710).
- resource information ie, SR resource information
- D-SR shared dedicated scheduling request
- CB resource information CB resource information
- SR resource information refers to information on a PUCCH resource used by a UE to make a scheduling request to a base station.
- CB resource information indicates information on a PUSCH resource for contention-based uplink data transmission.
- SR resource information and CB resource information may be allocated to two or more terminals in duplicate.
- the SR resource information and the CB resource information may be distinguished from each other by a physical time / frequency region and a sequence or code.
- the step S710 may be allocated through higher layer signaling such as RRC (Radio Resource Control). However, when dynamic UL resource allocation is required, the step S710 may be replaced by allocating using a PDCCH signal including a CB-RNTI.
- RRC Radio Resource Control
- the terminals may transmit a scheduling request (SR) to the base station, respectively, in order to be allocated an uplink resource for transmitting the UL data (S720).
- SR scheduling request
- the terminal may transmit uplink data (ie, a transmission block TB) to the base station together with the SR transmission without waiting for the UL grant according to the SR transmission (S730).
- uplink data ie, a transmission block TB
- the base station may identify the terminal using the CB resources based on the received SR.
- the base station may determine that a collision has occurred between the terminals. Accordingly, the base station may transmit a NACK signal and a dedicated UL grant to the terminal regardless of whether uplink data is normally received. If the base station receives only one SR associated with the same UL resource, the base station may determine that a collision between terminals does not occur. Therefore, when the base station normally receives the UL data transmitted through the corresponding UL resource, the base station may transmit an ACK signal, otherwise the NACK signal to the terminal (S740).
- the terminal may retransmit corresponding UL data when receiving the NACK signal from the base station, and may transmit new UL data when receiving the ACK signal (S750).
- the terminal Since the terminal is identified through the SR in step S750, it is possible to adaptively retransmit the UL data to the base station through the other UL resources. Through this, the UE can reduce the load of the CB resources.
- uplink synchronization UEs are allocated uplink resources according to a general method. Without transmitting an uplink channel signal to the base station. That is, the CB UL channel signal transmission method means that the UE transmits a scheduling request (SR) to the base station and transmits an uplink channel signal without receiving an uplink resource according to the SR.
- This CB UL channel signal transmission scheme can reduce transmission delay and signaling overhead.
- a method of transmitting a UL signal through a CB UL channel will be briefly referred to as "CB transmission" or "UL transmission.”
- the channel signal is meant to include both an uplink data signal and an uplink control signal.
- a general feature of CB transmission is that error rates increase for multiple users using the same shared uplink grant. Therefore, it is an important issue that the eNB has a fast and efficient resource allocation means and method between CB transmission and Contention Free (CF) transmission.
- CF Contention Free
- the uplink resource for CB transmission may be allocated through higher layer signaling such as RRC (Radio Resource Control), but the fast dynamic allocation method of uplink resource block for CB transmission uses downlink physical control channel (PDCCH).
- PDCH downlink physical control channel
- the CB grant transmitted on the PDCCH may be used to allocate uplink resources for CB transmission.
- a PDCCH signal and a Contention Based Radio Network Temporary Identifier (CB-RNTI) may be used to identify the CB grant transmitted on the PDCCH.
- the CB grant may be scheduled per subframe like other grants. In this manner, scheduling of uplink CF transmission may not be affected by CB transmission, and static or semi-static allocation of CB resources may be avoided even while CB resources are dynamically allocated according to uplink load.
- the CB grant may indicate a transmission resource on the PUSCH. Therefore, CB uplink data may be transmitted on the PUSCH.
- the UE may transmit CB-UL data only through an uplink resource (ie, a CB UL channel resource) indicated by the CB grant only when it does not have a dedicated CF grant at a specific time.
- a C-RNTI MAC control element may be added to the MAC PDU to identify the terminal, and a Buffer Status Report (BSR) may be used to assist the uplink scheduler of the base station.
- BSR Buffer Status Report
- the UE may transmit a scheduling request (SR) for requesting CF resource to the base station.
- the uplink data is transmitted on the PUSCH
- the C-RNTI MAC control element is added to identify the terminal
- the BSR may be transmitted together with the terminal during UL initial transmission to assist the uplink scheduler.
- one or more terminals may perform UL transmission through the contention-based physical resource.
- UL signals transmitted from one or more terminals may degrade the detection performance of the base station.
- a terminal and / or a base station uses a scrambling technique to distinguish each signal.
- each terminal performs scrambling in front of modulation using a value related to a Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI ) for uplink transmission.
- RNTI Radio Network Temporary Identifier
- n RNTI is a cell RNTI (C-RNTI: Cell-RNTI), a unique value for identifying each UE, and the UE applies scrambling with the same C-RNTI value when transmitting a PDCCH decoding and a PUSCH signal. That is, the RNTI used by the specific terminal to decode downlink information may be used for uplink transmission of the corresponding terminal.
- the base station may use the RNTI that can be accessed by the plurality of terminals.
- the base station may use one RNTI even when using the RNTI for a specific channel allocation, and the terminal receiving the UL grant may transmit contention-based UL data to the base station using the RNTI.
- the plurality of terminals may perform UL transmission using the same RNTI. have. Therefore, when a plurality of terminals attempt to access the base station through the same uplink radio resource, the base station can be difficult to distinguish each terminal because the plurality of terminals transmit the UL data using the same RNTI.
- an allocated contention-based uplink channel for example, CB-PUSCH or CB-PUCCH
- a method and a base station for minimizing performance degradation of the base station Disclosed are methods for minimizing the number of detection and demodulation attempts in.
- the terminal may transmit UL data using different scrambling codes in a contention-based uplink channel.
- the base station should detect and demodulate all possible sets of scrambling codes. In this case, the base station may increase complexity in detecting and demodulating the scrambling code, and may waste power of the base station.

이하의 기술은 CDMA(code division multiple access), FDMA(frequency division multiple access), TDMA(time division multiple access), OFDMA(orthogonal frequency division multiple access), SC-FDMA(single carrier frequency division multiple access) 등과 같은 다양한 무선 접속 시스템에 사용될 수 있다.
CDMA는 UTRA(Universal Terrestrial Radio Access)나 CDMA2000과 같은 무선 기술(radio technology)로 구현될 수 있다. TDMA는 GSM(Global System for Mobile communications)/GPRS(General Packet Radio Service)/EDGE(Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution)와 같은 무선 기술로 구현될 수 있다.
UTRA는 UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunications System)의 일부이다.
하나의 서브 프레임이 전송되는 데 걸리는 시간을 TTI(transmission time interval)이라 한다.
OFDM 심볼은 하향링크에서 OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Access) 방식을 사용하는 3GPP LTE 시스템에서 하나의 심볼 구간(symbol period)을 표현하기 위한 것이다.
3GPP LTE 시스템에서 사용되는 하향링크 제어채널들은 PCFICH(Physical Control Format Indicator Channel), PDCCH(Physical Downlink Control Channel), PHICH(Physical Hybrid-ARQ Indicator Channel) 등이 있다.
데이터 영역은 PUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared Channel)를 포함하고 음성 정보를 포함하는 데이터 신호를 전송하는데 사용된다.
OOK(On-Off Keying) 방식을 이용하여 전송된다.
- CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) 또는 CSI(Channel State Information): 하향링크 채널에 대한 피드백 정보이다. MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) 관련 피드백 정보는 RI(Rank Indicator) 및 PMI(Precoding Matrix Indicator)를 포함한다.

2. 공유 D-SR(Shared Dedicated-Scheduling Request)
이러한 경우, 기지국은 NACK(non-Acknowlegdment) 신호를 단말에 전송한다(S550).
PDCCH 상에 전송되는 CB 그랜트를 식별하기 위해 PDCCH 신호 및 CB-RNTI(Contention Based Radio Network Temporary Identifier)가 사용될 수 있다.
