  • a sensor arrangement may be provided to visually and/or audibly indicate when the container of deodorising/fragrancing substance needs to be replaced or refilled.
  • electrodes may be provided at opposing sides of the projecting wick and in contact with the wick, said electrodes being connected to an electronic circuit capable of measuring resistance across the wick. When fluid in the container is almost exhausted, the wick will become drier and resistance increase, thus actuating the visual and/or audible indicator.
  • FIG. 8 illustrates a modified mechanism for switching on the vacuum motor where instead of a fascia plate, the front wall of the housing has a letterbox style of flap 56 suspended by a hinge 58 to partially cover the floor level aperture for intake of air and debris.

Abstract

Afin d'être monté dans une chambre dans la base d'un appareil, d'un placard ou d'un mur, un logement (10) qui est similaire en termes de forme à un tiroir est équipé d'une ouverture au niveau du sol (31) à l'avant pour l'admission de débris. Un récipient pour déchets (34) est monté de manière amovible dans le logement et un premier conduit (32) mène de l'ouverture (31), de préférence vers le haut jusqu'à un orifice d'entrée (33) situé dans une zone supérieure du récipient pour déchets. Un moyen d'aspiration, tel qu'une turbine et un moteur d'entraînement (19), est monté à l'arrière du récipient pour déchets (34) de manière à être adjacent à l'orifice de sortie du récipient (34) et aspire l'air et les débris entraînés qui sont adjacents à l'ouverture (31) et par l'intermédiaire du premier conduit (32) pour être déposés dans le récipient (34). De plus, l'enceinte (28) est prévue entre l'orifice de sortie du récipient pour déchets et le moyen d'aspiration (19) où un réservoir contenant une substance volatile désodorisante ou de fragrance doit être monté de manière à minimiser toute recirculation d'odeurs désagréables vers la pièce. Un second conduit (non représenté), de préférence situé sur chaque côté du logement (10), s'étend du moyen d'aspiration (19) jusqu'à l'avant du logement (10) de manière à évacuer l'air, qui passe généralement par un filtre (37) lorsqu'il sort du récipient (34).
