Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Aktuator, mit dem Wärmeenergie in mechanische Arbeit umgewandelt wird. Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung, einen funktionstüchtigen Aktuator auf Basis einer Formgedächtnislegierung zu schaffen, Zur Lösung der Aufgabe umfasst ein Aktuator ein Stellelement, das von einer Ausgangsstellung in eine Endstellung mit Hilfe einer Antriebseinrichtung bewegt werden kann, die eine Formgedächtnislegierung umfasst. Durch die Bewegung in die Endstellung wird ein Kontakt zwischen der Formgedächtnislegierung und einem Kühlkörper hergestellt. Alternativ oder ergänzend wird durch die Bewegung in die Endstellung mittels eines Schaltelements der Stromfluss gestoppt oder zumindest reduziert, mit dem die Formgedächtnislegierung erwärmt wird.
