Abstract

Es wird eine Windkraftanlage mit einem einen Aufwindkamin (1) ringförmig umschließenden, von einem Kollektordach (3) abgedeckten Kollektorraum (2), der mit dem Aufwindkamin (1) durch einen den Aufwindkamin (1) umgebenden Kranz von Strömungskanälen (4) verbunden ist, und mit in den Strömungskanälen (4) angeordneten Windturbinen (8) beschrieben, die einen axial durchströmten Turbinenrotor (10) aufweisen. Um vorteilhafte Konstruktionsbedingungen zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Strömungskanäle (4) zwischen radial zum Aufwindkamin (1) verlaufenden, einen Tragring (6) für den Aufwindkamin (1) aufnehmenden Stützwänden (5) verlaufen, dass die in einem in Strömungsrichtung ansteigenden Abschnitt der Strömungskanäle (4) unterhalb des Tragrings (6) angeordneten Windturbinen (8) an den Stützwänden (5) des Aufwindkamins (1) abgestützt sind und dass die Strömungskanäle (4) eine sich düsenartig gegen den Turbinenrotor (10) verjüngende Leiteinrichtung (12) bilden.
