Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un système adapté pour contrôler l'authenticité de divers articles. Le système selon l'invention comprend : - une pluralité d'étiquettes d'authentification (EU) adaptées pour être associées à une pluralité correspondante d'articles (AR), les étiquettes (EU) contenant au moins un code d'identification d'étiquette unique (CU) et des premières informations (IU) en rapport avec l'article ; le système selon l'invention comprend aussi : - un système de traitement électronique (SYS) comprenant une base de données (DB) qui contient, pour chacune desdites étiquettes (EU), au moins le code correspondant (CU) et des deuxièmes informations (IT) en rapport avec l'article. Lesdites deuxièmes informations (IT) peuvent contenir, partiellement ou en totalité, lesdites premières informations (IU), et la base de données contient également au moins une clé de chiffrement privée (KPR-1) et au moins une clé de déchiffrement publique (KPU-1) correspondante ; le système selon l'invention comprend d'autre part : - une pluralité de terminaux d'utilisateur (TU) qui comprennent chacun des moyens adaptés pour lire des informations à partir des étiquettes (EU) ainsi que des moyens adaptés pour déchiffrer les informations lues au moyen de la clé publique (KPU-1). Les terminaux (TU) sont adaptés pour recevoir ladite clé publique (KPU-1), directement et/ou indirectement, depuis le système de traitement électronique (SYS) et pour l'enregistrer. Par ailleurs, lesdites premières informations (IU) ont été chiffrées, partiellement ou en totalité, par le système de traitement électronique (SYS) au moyen de la clé privée (KPR-1).
