- a secondary module 22 is connected to the left side of the main module 10 by inserting the expansion plug 20 of the secondary module 22 into the left slot 14 of the main module 10.
- the secondary module 22 may also be expanded to all it four sides, according to one of the embodiments. Thus modular expansions of different shapes and sizes may be formed.
- Each of the modules, the main module 10 and the secondary module 22, comprises an electrical socket 12 for connecting electrical appliances.
- the main module 10 also comprises an electrical plug 16 for feeding electrical current to its socket 12 and feeding current to its expansion slots 14 for the interconnecting modules 22 and their sockets 12.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif prise de courant extensible modulaire qui comprend: a) une prise pour brancher des appareils électriques; b) au moins une fente pour raccorder une ou plusieurs prises extensibles; et c) un boîtier pour loger cette prise et cette fente de raccordement. Dans un mode de réalisation, le dispositif comprend en outre une fiche servant à insérer la prise de courant extensible modulaire dans une prise électrique. Dans un mode de réalisation, le dispositif comprend en outre une fiche de raccordement qui se loge dans la fente de raccordement. De préférence, le boîtier est constitué d'une matière plastique isolante.
