Abstract

Komplexe Display-Inhalte sollen insbesondere auf Kombi-Instrumenten mit Rundskalen in einem Fahrzeug besser dargestellt werden können. Daher wird ein Verfahren zum Anzeigen eines Werts in einer Anzeigevorrichtung eines Fahrzeugs bereitgestellt, bei dem eine Rundskala (3', 4') mit einem vorgegebenen Wertebereich in einem ersten Winkelbereich eines Voll- oder Teilkreises und ein Zeiger (5, 6), der auf den anzuzeigenden Wert der Rundskala zeigt, grafisch dargestellt werden. Die Skalierung der Rundskala (3', 4') wird geändert und die Rundskala wird dann entsprechend der geänderten Skalierung in einem zweiten Winkelbereich, der kleiner als der erste Winkelbereich ist, dargestellt. Auf diese Weise lässt sich Platz für die Darstellung anderer Informationen gewinnen.
