Description

シートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シート
 本発明は、シートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートに係り、特に、通常使用時から折り畳んで収納可能であり、組み付け作業性が高く、格納操作時の操作性が良好であると共に、その側方からケーブルが引き込まれる着座フレームを有するシートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートに関する。
 従来から、通常の使用状態と、シートバックが前倒れした形態で車体フロアの収納凹部に格納する状態とに移行可能な車両用格納シートが知られている。このような車両用格納シートを収納する部分については、車両のデザイン上の理由や、荷物等の収容スペースの確保が求められる等の理由により、収納凹部が車両用格納シートの前方の車体フロア(すなわち、車両用格納シートの下部前方)に設けられる場合がある。
 このような場合、車両用格納シートを他の物品や部材(例えば、前列に配置されたシートや、収納凹部の側壁等)に引っ掛けることなく、スムーズに収納凹部に格納するため、アッパーレール、ロアレールを組み付けることによってシートを前後方向にスライド可能とし、格納前にシートを後方へスライドさせてから跳ね上げて格納する技術が知られている(例えば、特許文献1)。このように、特許文献1で開示された技術によれば、車両用格納シートに備えられたシートバックを段階的に傾倒させ、前後方向のスライド操作を行うことにより、シートバック及び着座フレームを格納状態に適した折り畳み状態としてから格納することができる。
 また、このようなスライド可能な車両用格納シートでは、シートがフロントモスト状態(シートが最前位置にある状態)の場合、シートが前方のシートと干渉し、格納ができない場合がある。このような事態を回避するために、シートをリアモスト状態(シートが最後位置にある状態)にしない限り、ロック機構のロック解除ができないようにするキャンセル機構を設けたシートが提案されている(例えば、特許文献2)。
 このキャンセル機構の一例としては、シートスライド機構のアッパーレール側に、ロアレール側に設けられたロック機構のロック解除部材と係脱可能なレバーを設けたものが知られており、また、レバーについては、アッパーレールがリアモスト以外の状態ではロック機構のロック解除部材に係合できず、アッパーレールがリアモストとなると、レバーでロック機構のロック解除ができるようにした技術も知られている。
 これらのキャンセル機構では、アッパーレールをリアモストに止める精度と、レバーがロック解除部材に係合する精度とが要求される。すなわち、シートスライド機構にあっては、アッパーレールをリアモストに止めるストッパの部品精度、および取り付け精度が必要であり、また、レバー、ロック機構の部品精度および取り付け精度が必要である。
 これらの部品精度および取り付け精度の誤差を吸収するためには、レバーや、ロック機構のロック解除部材を大型化する必要があり、キャンセル機構が大型化する問題点があるため、特許文献2では、キャンセル機構の小型化を図った技術が提案されている。
 さらに、シートをリアモストまでスライド移動させてから、ストライカロックを開錠操作するという手順を機構的に促すことにより、跳ね上げ途上で詰ってしまう事態を生ずることなく、シートをシートバックの折畳み状態で後部側から上方に確実に跳ね上げられるよう構成するための技術も提案されている(例えば、特許文献3)。
 ところで、車両用シートのクッション材は、一般に着座フレームによって支持されている。一方、車両用シートの中には、車両用シートを所定方向にスライドさせるスライド機構や、さらにシートバックの傾きを調整するリクライニング機構等が備わっているものが多い。さらに、車両用シートの中には、上記のように、車両用シートを折り畳む折り畳み機構がさらに備えられているものもある。このような機構では、その構成要素(特に、動力伝達要素)としてケーブルが用いられることがある。(例えば、特許文献4参照)。
 特許文献4に記載の乗物用シートでは、上記のリクライニング機構や、車両用シートのスライド移動に対するロックを解除する機構にケーブルが用いられている。

 特許文献1の車両用格納シートは、シートのスライド装置が取り付けられており、このスライド装置は、スライドロック機構をシートスライド機構に連動させて適宜解除する構成を備えている。したがって、シートを格納する際、シートを後方へスライドさせる動作を容易に行うことができる。
 しかし、このスライド操作を行うための構成は、複数の部品を組み合わせて構成されることから、その構成が複雑であり、組み付け作業が煩雑になるという不都合があった。また、車両用格納シートを格納可能な位置までスライドするための構成は、車体フロア側とシート側に別体で組み付ける構成とすると取り付け作業性が低下するため、取り付け作業性のより高い技術が望まれていた。さらに、シートを格納する際は、主として手動で行う必要があり、車両用格納シートを格納可能な位置(すなわち、最後方)までスライドする動作を、より簡単に行うことが可能な技術が望まれていた。
 さらに、車両用格納シートを回動させて格納する際、シートを適当な位置までスライドさせてから格納する必要があるが、手動によりシートのスライドを行う場合、適正な位置までスライドすることができず、格納操作をスムーズに行うことができない場合があった。したがって、車両用格納シートを格納可能な位置まで簡単に且つ確実にスライドさせ、格納操作をスムーズに行うことが可能な技術が望まれていた。
 また、特許文献1の車両用格納シートは、シートバックを傾倒させるためのリクライニング機構を備えており、さらにシートを格納状態とするために、シートバックを着座フレーム側に傾倒させる構成を備えている。したがって、シートを格納する際、シートバックを着座部側まで傾倒させる動作を容易に行うことができる。
 また、特許文献1の車両用格納シートは、シートバックを着座部側へ折り畳む動作を段階的に行い、その折り畳み動作の段階に伴って、シートを跳ね上げ可能な位置までスライドさせる構成や、シートのスライドをロックする構成や、シートロックの解除を行う構成を備えている。
 このように、特許文献1の技術によれば、段階的にシートバックの折り畳み動作を行うことにより、車両用格納シートは、格納するために適切な位置までスライドし、容易に格納操作に適した折り畳み状態をとることができる。しかし、このような格納操作に係る一連の動作において、一部の動作を自動化し、格納操作をより簡単に行うことが可能となる技術が望まれていた。そして、折り畳み動作の一部を自動で行うことを可能とすると共に、シートバックが急速に傾倒することなく、安定して折り畳み動作を行うことができる技術が望まれていた。
 また、車両用格納シートは、着座部側へシートバックを折り畳んでから跳ね上げて格納するため、折り畳み動作が急速に行われると、シートがガタついてしまい、適切に格納操作を行うことができず、シートが格納できない場合がある。したがって、格納操作において、シートの折り畳み動作を行う際、シートのガタつき等を伴わずに安定して折り畳み動作を行い、シートを格納操作に適した状態で折り畳み可能な技術が望まれていた。
 さらに、特許文献2及び特許文献3に開示された技術は、何れもレバーに連結されたワイヤ等によってレバーが操作される構成のものであり、特許文献2の技術ではキャンセル機構を用いており、また特許文献3の技術でも切換機構等が必要である。したがって、特許文献2及び特許文献3のように、構成が複雑で、取付け作業に手間がかかるという不都合があった。そして、このような背景から、簡単な構成により、格納準備位置以外で跳ね上げが生じないように規制することが可能な技術が望まれていた。
 ところで、上記のケーブルは、一般的に着座フレーム周りで配索され、例えば、着座フレームの側方から引き回されて当該着座フレームの上面に配置される場合も考えられる。かかる場合、着座フレームとその上に載置されるクッション材との間にケーブルが挟まれてしまい、シートへの着座時等においてケーブルに負荷が直接掛かり、圧迫によってケーブルが損傷したり変形したりする虞がある。
 こうした状況に対し、ケーブルへの負荷を緩和させるクッション材をケーブル周りに配設することも考えられるが、部品数が増加し、製造コストも上昇させてしまうことになる。したがって、着座時等に着座フレーム近傍に配索されるケーブルに対して負荷が掛からないように、適切にケーブルを配索することが可能な技術が求められていた。
 そこで、本発明の目的は、上記の課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、組み付け作業性が高く、さらに格納操作を簡単に行うことが可能なシートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートを提供することにある。また、本発明の他の目的は、車両用格納シートを、格納可能な位置まで簡単に且つ確実にスライドさせることが可能なシートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートを提供することにある。
 さらに、本発明の他の目的は、格納操作をより簡単に行うことが可能であると共に、安定して折り畳み動作を行うことが可能なシートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートを提供することにある。さらにまた、本発明の他の目的は、安定して折り畳み動作を行うことにより、格納操作を確実に行うことが可能なシートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートを提供することにある。
 また、本発明の他の目的は、簡単な構成により、格納準備位置以外で跳ね上げが生じないように規制することが可能なシートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートを提供することにある。
 さらにまた、本発明の他の目的は、構成が簡単で部品点数を少なくして重量を削減でき、格納準備位置を確実に検知でき、取付け作業の精度の向上や、コストを削減できるシートフレーム及び該シートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートを提供すること目的とする。
 さらに、本発明の他の目的は、ケーブルをクッションフレームの側方から引き込む場合、着座時等に負荷が掛からないように、適切にケーブルを配索することにある。
 前記課題は、本発明の請求項1のシートフレームによれば、着座フレームとシートバックフレームとが折り畳まれた状態で跳ね上げられることにより車体フロアに格納される車両用格納シートに備えられるシートフレームであって、前記シートバックフレームを前記着座フレームに対して傾動可能に支持するリクライニング機構と、前記着座フレームを前後方向にスライドさせるシートスライド機構と、前記リクライニング機構と連動して前記シートスライド機構の動作を禁止または許容するスライドロック機構と、前記着座フレームの後部を前記車体フロアに係止すると共に前記車両用格納シートの回動を規制するストライカロック機構と、前記車両用格納シートの格納操作及び復帰操作を補助するアシスト機構と、を備え、前記シートスライド機構は、車体の前後方向に延在するロアレールと、該ロアレールに対し摺動可能に係合するアッパーレールと、前記車両用格納シートの格納時に前記シートバックフレームが前記リクライニング機構によって所定角度まで傾斜する動きに連動して前記アッパーレールを自動的に摺動させるスライド付勢部材と、を有し、前記シートスライド機構と、前記スライドロック機構とは、前記着座フレームに取り付けられてなること、により解決される。
 このように、着座フレームとシートバックフレームとが折り畳まれた状態で格納される車両用格納シートに備えられるシートフレームにおいて、シートスライド機構にスライド付勢部材を備えることにより、着座フレームをロアレールに対して自動的にスライドさせることができる。したがって、格納操作をより簡単に行うことが可能である。また、スライド付勢部材に依存してスライドの位置変化量が決定されるため、確実に着座フレームを格納操作に適した位置までスライドさせることができる。
 そして、このようなシートスライド機構と、シートスライド機構の動作を制御するスライドロック機構とが着座フレームに取り付けられているため、シートフレームを車体(車体フロア)に取り付ける際、シートスライド機構等の組み付け作業が煩雑になることがない。上記構成のシートフレームは、ロアレールまでが一体となっているため、車体フロアに対してロアレールを係止するだけで、車体フロアに対して容易に組み付け可能である。したがって、自動的に格納位置までスライド可能な車両用格納シートを車体フロアに取り付ける際、作業性よく取り付け作業を行うことができる。
 このとき、本発明の請求項2のように、前記ストライカロック機構とは別に設けられ、前記シートフレームの跳ね上がりを規制するインターロック機構をさらに備え、前記スライド付勢部材の一端は、前記インターロック機構に係止されてなると好適である。
 このように、インターロック機構の一部にスライド付勢部材を取り付けることにより、スライド付勢部材を取り付けるための部材を別途設けなくて良く、さらにインターロック機構を構成する部材の組立と同時にスライド付勢部材の取り付け作業を行うことができるため、車両用格納シートの組み付け作業性をさらに向上させることができる。
 また、インターロック機構は、車両用格納シートを跳ね上げて格納する際、跳ね上げ起点となる位置に配設される。そして、車両用格納シートは、車内に配設されるその他の部材との緩衝を避けるため、インターロックが配設された部分側へスライドさせてから収納されることが多い。したがって、他の部材の中でも、特にインターロック機構にスライド付勢部材の一端を係止することにより、インターロック機構が設置された部分側へ車両用格納シートを付勢して、スライドさせることが可能となる。その結果、確実に着座フレームを格納位置にスライドさせることが可能であり、格納操作をより簡単に行うことが可能となる。
 また、このとき、本発明の請求項3のように、前記着座フレームと前記シートバックフレームとの角度を調整するリンク機構をさらに備え、前記リンク機構は、前記アッパーレールの摺動動作中、前記シートバックフレームの傾斜角度を保持する構成であるとさらに好適である。
 このような構成であれば、アッパーレール、すなわち着座フレームのスライド中にシートバックフレームが傾倒することなく保持される。このように、スライド開始時点でのシートバックフレームの傾斜角度を保持した状態で着座フレームがスライドするため、車両用格納シートが振動することなく、安定して格納位置までスライドすることが可能である。したがって、車両用格納シートを格納に適した位置までより確実にスライドさせることが可能である。
 さらに、このとき、請求項4のように、前記シートバックフレームは、前記着座フレームに対して回動可能に取り付けられ、前記シートバックフレームの回動方向において前記着座フレーム側に折り畳む方向を第1方向、該第1方向と反対の向きを第2方向とするとき、前記第1方向に前記シートバックフレームを付勢する第1付勢部材と、該第1付勢部材が前記シートバックフレームを付勢する際に係合し、前記シートバックフレームに取り付けられた第1係合部材と、前記第2方向に前記シートバックフレームを付勢する第2付勢部材と、該第2付勢部材が前記シートバックフレームを付勢する際に係合し、前記シートバックフレームに取り付けられた第2係合部材と、を備え、前記シートバックフレームが前記第1方向に回動して手動操作範囲に到達するまでの間は、前記第1付勢部材は、前記第1係合部材に係合した状態で前記シートバックフレームを前記第1方向に付勢し、前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲に到達すると、前記第1付勢部材と前記第1係合部材との係合状態が解除される構成であると好適である。
 上記構成のシートフレームは、シートバックフレームの回動方向において、シートバックフレームが着座フレーム側に折り畳まれる方向を第1方向とし、その第1方向と反対の向きを第2方向とするとき、シートバックフレームを第1方向に付勢する第1付勢部材と、第2方向に付勢する第2付勢部材とを備えている。そして、シートバックフレームの折り畳み動作の際、第1付勢部材が第1係合部材に係合することにより第1方向にシートバックフレームが付勢され、自動的に傾倒し、手動操作範囲に到達する。このように、シートバックフレームの手動操作範囲を設定し、第1付勢部材により第1方向へシートバックフレームを付勢することにより、その範囲に到達するまでの動作を自動的に行うことができる。
 そして、シートバックフレームが手動操作範囲に到達すると、第1付勢部材は、第1係合部材との係合状態が解除される。
 このように、シートバックフレームが手動操作範囲に到達した状態においては、第1付勢部材による第1方向への付勢が行われなくなる。したがって、シートバックフレームが手動操作範囲に到達した状態においては、シートバックフレームが第1方向へ折り畳まれる動きが急速に行われることを防止することができる。その結果、本発明のシートバックフレームは、シートバックフレームが急速に折り畳まれて着座フレーム側に接触することなく、折り畳み動作を安定して行うことが可能となり、格納操作を確実に行うことが可能となる。
 また、シートバックフレームの折り畳み角度に依存して第1付勢部材により付勢される範囲を制御することにより、シートバックフレームの回動時、完全に着座フレーム側に折り畳まれる構成とするのではなく、着座フレームに対して所定位置を保持した状態を安定させることができる。したがって、本発明のシートフレームは、シートバックフレームが急速に折り畳まれて着座フレーム側に接触することなく、折り畳み動作を安定して行うことが可能となる。
 このとき、本発明の請求項5のように、前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲にある状態において、前記第2付勢部材が前記第2係合部材と係合した状態で前記シートバックフレームを前記第2方向に付勢すると好適である。
 このように、シートバックフレームが前方に回動して手動操作範囲にある状態では、第2付勢部材が第2係合部材と係合し、シートバックフレームが第2方向に付勢される。したがって、シートバックフレームの折り畳み動作を行う際、第2付勢部材による付勢力が加わるため、シートバックフレームが急激に折り畳まれることなく、シートのガタつきが防止される。
 このとき、本発明の請求項6のように、前記第1付勢部材と前記第1係合部材との係合状態が解除される前に第2付勢部材が第2係合部材に係合すると好ましい。
 シートバックフレームが手動操作範囲に到達し、第1方向へ付勢された状態が解除された直後は、慣性により、第1方向への付勢力がシートバックフレームに加わっている。しかし、第1付勢部材によってシートバックフレームが第1方向へ付勢される状態が解除される前において、シートバックフレームが第2方向への付勢力を受ける構成であると、第1方向へ働く慣性力の影響を小さくすることができる。その結果、シートバックフレームは手動操作範囲内における所定位置まで安定して傾倒し、その所定位置を保持することが可能となる。
 このとき、本発明の請求項7のように、前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲に到達するまでの間は、前記第2付勢部材は、前記着座フレームに備えられた係止部に係合して前記シートバックフレームを前記第2方向へ付勢する状態が解除され、前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲にある状態において、前記第1付勢部材は、前記着座フレームに備えられたストッパ部に係合して前記シートバックフレームを前記第1方向へ付勢する状態が解除されると好適である。
 このように、シートバックフレームが第1方向に回動し、手動操作範囲に到達するまでの間、第2付勢部材が着座フレーム側に係止されることにより、第2付勢部材とシートバックフレームの係合状態が解除され、第2付勢部材による第2方向への付勢力がシートバックフレームに伝達されなくなる。その結果、第1付勢部材により、シートバックフレームが第1方向へ付勢されるため、シートバックフレームが容易に回動可能となる。
 また、シートバックフレームが回動し、手動操作範囲にある状態において、第1付勢部材が、着座側フレームに係止されることにより、第1付勢部材による第1方向への付勢力がシートバックフレームに伝達されなくなる。その結果、シートバックフレームが所定位置に到達した際、急速に着座フレーム側へ傾倒することなく、その位置を安定して保持することが可能となる。
 さらに、このとき、請求項8のように、前記第1付勢部材及び前記第2付勢部材は、螺旋状に巻回されたばねによって構成され、前記第1付勢部材を構成するばねの巻回方向は、前記第2付勢部材を構成するばねの巻回方向と反対方向に形成され、前記第1付勢部材を構成するばねの直径は、前記第2付勢部材を構成するばねの直径よりも大きく形成され、前記第1付勢部材を構成するばねの巻数は、前記第2付勢部材を構成するばねの巻数よりも多く形成されてなると好適である。
 このように、第1付勢部材を構成するばねは、第2付勢部材を構成するばねと比較して、その巻回方向が逆向きになるような構成とし、さらに第1付勢部材を構成するばねが、第2付勢部材を構成するばねと比較して付勢力の強いばねとすることにより、シートバックフレームの回動方向及び回動速度を適切に制御することができる。
 また、このとき、本発明の請求項9のように、前記第1係合部材は、前記スライドロック機構と連動するとさらに好適である。
 このような構成とすることにより、シートの格納時、適切な位置までスライドさせてから格納する車両用格納シートにおいて、シートバックフレームの傾倒動作に伴い、シートのスライドを行うか否かを制御することができる。このように、シートバックフレームの傾倒動作に連動させてシートのスライド可否の制御を行うことができるので、格納操作をより簡単に行うことが可能となる。
 また、このとき、第1付勢部材及び第2付勢部材を備えたシートフレームは、シートバックフレームを安定して傾倒させることができるため、シートが振動することなく、安定して格納位置までスライドすることが可能である。したがって、シートの格納操作をより安定して確実に行うことが可能となる。
 さらに、このとき、本発明の請求項10のように、前記第2付勢部材は、前記着座フレームの内側に配設されてなると好適である。
 このように、第2付勢部材が着座フレームの内側、すなわち乗員が着座する側に配設されることにより、第2付勢部材が着座フレームの外側に配設された場合と比較して、シートバックフレームを小型化することができる。
 また、請求項11のように、前記ストライカロック機構とは別に設けられ、前記シートフレームの跳ね上がりを規制するインターロック機構をさらに備え、前記スライドロック機構は、前記シートスライド機構によるロアレールに移動可能に設けられたアッパーレールの移動をロックするスライドロックを設定又は解除し、前記ストライカロック機構は、前記シートスライド機構の前記ロアレールの後部を前記車体フロアに係止すると共にシートフレームの回動を規制し、前記インターロック機構は、前記シートフレームを車体側に固定すると共に前記シートフレームが格納準備位置のときに作動し、前記シートフレームを車体側から解除する機構を有すると好適である。
 このように、ストライカロック機構とは別に設けられ、シートフレームの跳ね上がりを規制するインターロック機構が設けられ、このインターロック機構は、シートフレームを車体側に固定すると共に前記シートフレームが格納準備位置のときに作動し、シートフレームを車体側から解除する機構であるので、ストライカロック機構によってロアレールの後部のフロア係止が解除されると共にシートフレームの回動規制を解除しても、シートフレームが格納準備位置になるまで、シートフレームの跳ね上げを規制することが可能となる。
 より具体的には、請求項12のように、前記シートフレームを前記車体側に固定し、前記シートフレームが前記格納準備位置で作動し、前記シートフレームを前記車体側から解除する前記インターロック機構は、前記シートフレーム側に回動可能に設けられたインターロックと、該インターロックを前記車体に設けられたストライカ側へ付勢するインターロック付勢部材と、前記インターロックを押圧する押圧部材と、を有し、前記インターロックは、前記格納準備位置において、前記車体側に設けられた前記ストライカと係脱可能に構成されてなると好ましい。
 このように構成されているので、ストライカロック機構とインターロック機構とは、ストライカを共用できることになり、インターロック機構が存在しない場合と同様の構成である車体側のストライカを用いることができ、特別な変更を行なう必要がない。
 このとき、請求項13のように、前記インターロックは、前記押圧部材によって押圧されて前記インターロック付勢手段に抗して、前記シートフレームの前記格納準備位置で前記ストライカから離脱するように構成される。
 さらに、請求項14のように、前記インターロック機構は、前記シートフレームと前記ストライカロック機構との間に設けられていると好適である。このように、インターロック機構は、シートフレームとストライカロック機構との間に設けられているので、配設空間を少なくして、コンパクトにすることができる。
 さらに、請求項15のように、前記着座フレームは、その上面にクッション材が載置されるクッション材載置部と、該クッション材載置部の下部に設けられ、該クッション材載置部と交差した交差部と、を側部に有し、前記交差部には、前記着座フレームの側方から引き込まれるケーブルを通すための孔が形成されていると好適である。
 かかる構成により、着座フレームの側方から引き込まれたケーブルは上記の孔に挿通されるので、クッション材載置部とクッション材との間にケーブルが挟まれるのを回避することが可能になる。この結果、着座時等にケーブルに負荷が直接掛かることがなく、ケーブルの損傷や変形を防止することが可能になる。
 また、請求項16のように、前記交差部の下部と隣接し、前記交差部と交差する底部と、前記交差部が位置する側とは反対側にて前記底部と隣接する第2の交差部と、を有し、該第2の交差部には、前記着座フレームの側方から引き込まれて前記孔に通された前記ケーブルを通すための第2の孔が形成されており、前記孔及び前記第2の孔は、いずれも長孔であると好適である。
 かかる構成により、ケーブルを整理してより適切に配索することが可能になる。
 具体的に説明すると、請求項17のように、前記車両用格納シートが移動方向に移動可能であるときに、前記交差部及び前記第2の交差部は、前記移動方向に沿って延出しており、前記交差部の延出方向における前記孔の形成位置と、前記第2の交差部の延出方向における前記第2の孔の形成位置とは、前記移動方向において互いに異なる位置であると更に好適である。
 かかる構成であれば、車両用格納シートを動かす際にケーブルの可動範囲を十分に確保することができ、車両用格納シートの動作を邪魔することなく、ケーブルをスムーズに移動させることが可能になる。
 また、請求項18のように、前記長孔の長手方向における端部に位置し、前記ケーブルの外径よりも大きい内径を有する円孔部と、該円孔部と隣接し、前記長手方向に沿って延びたスリット部と、が前記孔及び前記第2の孔にそれぞれ備えられ、前記長手方向と交差する交差方向における前記スリット部の幅は、前記円孔部の内径よりも小さく、かつ、前記ケーブルの外径よりも大きく形成されていると好適である。
 かかる構成であれば、円孔部を通じてケーブルを孔や第2の孔に容易に挿通させることが可能になる。さらに、円孔部に通されたケーブルは、スリット部を通るようにずらされ、これにより車両用格納シートが動く際にはスリット部を通じてケーブルのバタツキを抑制することが可能になる。
 また、請求項19のように、前記孔には、前記着座フレームの側方から引き込まれた複数の前記ケーブルが通されると好適である。
 かかる構成であれば、着座フレームの側方から引き込む複数のケーブルを整理して、各ケーブルを適切に配索することが可能になる。
 また、請求項20のように、前記車両用格納シートは、前記着座フレームと、該着座フレームに対して回動可能なシートバックフレームとを備え、かつ、該シートバックフレームの回動により折り畳み可能に形成され、前記着座フレームは、前記クッション材を支えると好適である。
 かかる構成であれば、交差部にケーブルを通す孔が形成されている効果がより有意義なものとなる。すなわち、折り畳まれた状態の車両用格納シート(詳しくは、シートバックの背面)には人や物が載せられるようになる。このような状況下では、クッション材載置部とクッション材との間にケーブルが挟まれていると、ケーブルに負荷が掛かることが多くなるので、ケーブルを孔に挿通してクッション材載置部とクッション材との間に挟まれるのを回避する本発明の効果がより有意義なものとなる。
 さらに、前記課題は、本発明の請求項21の車両用格納シートによれば、シートフレームと、該シートフレーム上に載置されるクッション材と、これらを被覆する表皮材とを少なくとも備えた車両用格納シートであって、前記シートフレームは、請求項1乃至20のいずれか一項に記載されたシートフレームを用いること、により解決される。
 このように、上記構成のシートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートは、シートフレームにおいて、シートスライド機構と、スライドロック機構とがシートフレームに一体に組み付けられているため、車体フロアに組み付ける際、作業性が良好である。さらに、シートスライド機構において、着座フレームをスライドさせるスライド付勢部材を備えているため、車両用格納シートを適切な位置まで自動的にスライドさせることが可能である。
 また、上記構成のシートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートは、第1付勢部材及び第2付勢部材を備えたシートフレームを用いている。したがって、シートバックフレームの折り畳み動作の際、第1付勢部材が第1係合部材に係合することにより第1方向にシートバックフレームが付勢され、自動的に手動操作範囲内に到達する。
 そして、上記構成のシートフレームを備えることにより、車両用格納シートにおいて、シートバックが急激に傾倒することなく、シートのガタつきを防止することができる。その結果、シートバックは所定位置まで安定して傾倒し、その所定位置を保持することが可能となる。
 このように、シートバックの折り畳み角度に依存して第1付勢部材及び第2付勢部材によって付勢する方向を制御することにより、シートバックの傾倒時、完全に着座部側に折り畳まれる構成とするのではなく、着座部に対して所定位置を保持した状態を安定させることができる。したがって、本発明の車両用格納シートは、シートバックが急速に折り畳まれてシートバックが着座部に接触することなく、折り畳み動作を安定して行うことが可能となる。
 その結果、本発明の車両用格納シートは、格納時の折り畳み動作をより安定して行うことが可能となり、格納操作を確実に行うことが可能となる。
 また、上記構成のシートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートは、ストライカロック機構によってロアレールの後部のフロア係止が解除されると共にシートフレームの回動規制を解除しても、シートフレームが格納準備位置になるまで、シートフレームの跳ね上げを規制することが可能となる。
 さらに、上記構成のシートフレームを備えた車両用格納シートは、上述したように、着座フレームの側方から引き込まれたケーブルが、交差部に形成された孔に挿通されるので、クッション材載置部とクッション材との間に挟まれることなく適切にケーブルを配索することが可能になる。
 請求項1に記載のシートフレームによれば、スライド付勢部材を備えることにより、着座フレームを簡単且つ確実に適正な格納位置に誘導することが可能である。その結果、格納操作をスムーズに行うことが可能になる。また、シートスライド機構及びスライドロック機構が一体に備えられているため、車体フロアへの組み付け作業時、作業性の良いシートフレームを提供することができる。
 請求項2に記載のシートフレームによれば、ストライカロック機構にスライド付勢部材が取り付けられるため、車両用格納シート組み立て時、組み付けの作業箇所が集中するため、より効率よく組み付け作業を行うことができる。また、格納操作をより簡単且つ確実に行うことが可能なシートフレームを提供することができる。
 請求項3に記載のシートフレームによれば、車両用格納シートが安定してスライドするため、確実に格納位置までスライドすることが可能なシートフレームを提供することができる。
 請求項4に記載のシートフレームによれば、シートバックフレームを適切な速度で自動的に傾倒させることができると共に、折り畳み動作を安定して行うことが可能なシートフレームを提供することができる。さらに、シートバックフレームの折り畳み角度に依存して、付勢方向を制御することが可能となるため、折り畳み動作を安定して行うことができ、格納操作を確実に行うことが可能なシートフレームを提供することができる。
 請求項5のシートフレームによれば、シートバックフレームが手動操作範囲にある状態において第2方向への付勢力が加わるため、シートバックフレームが着座フレーム側へ急速に回動することなく、安定して折り畳み動作を行うことが可能なシートフレームを提供することができる。
 請求項6のシートフレームによれば、第1方向への慣性力によるシートバックフレームの急速な回動を防止することができ、安定してシートバックフレームを手動操作範囲まで回動させることができる。
 請求項7に記載のシートフレームによれば、シートバックフレームを手動操作範囲内の所定位置まで傾倒させる際、第1付勢部材によって簡単に傾倒させることができる。シートバックフレームを所定位置に保持する際、付勢力が適切に制御されるため、シートバックフレームの傾倒動作を安定して行うことができる。
 請求項8に記載のシートフレームによれば、第1付勢部材の付勢力を第2付勢部材の付勢力よりも大きくすることにより、シートバックフレームの回動方向及び回動速度を適切に制御し、シートバックフレームを安定して傾動させることができる。
 請求項9に記載のシートフレームによれば、シートバックフレームの折り畳み操作時にシートのスライド動作を制御することができるため、より安定して折り畳み可能なシートフレームを提供することができる。
 請求項10のシートフレームによれば、シートフレームをコンパクト化することができる。
 請求項11のシートフレームによれば、簡単な構成により、格納準備位置以外で跳ね上げが生じないように規制することが可能となる。
 請求項12のシートフレームによれば、構成が簡単で部品点数を少なくして重量を削減することができる。
 請求項13のシートフレームによれば、格納準備位置を確実に検知することができる。
 請求項14のシートフレームによれば、取付け作業の精度の向上や、コストを削減することができる。
 請求項15に記載の着座フレームによれば、着座フレームの側方から引き込むケーブルを、クッション材載置部とクッション材との間に挟むことなく適切に配索することが可能になる。
 請求項16に記載の着座フレームによれば、ケーブルを整理してより適切に配索することが可能になる。
 請求項17に記載の着座フレームによれば、車両用格納シートを移動させる際のケーブルの可動範囲を十分に確保することができるので、車両用格納シートが動く際の妨げとならず、かつ、絡まりなくケーブルを移動させることが可能になる。
 請求項18に記載の着座フレームによれば、ケーブルを孔や第2の孔に容易に挿通させることが可能になると共に、車両用格納シートが動く際にはケーブルのバタツキを抑制することが可能になる。
 請求項19に記載の着座フレームによれば、着座フレームの側方から引き込む複数のケーブルを整理して、各ケーブルを適切に配索することが可能になる。
 請求項20に記載の着座フレームによれば、折り畳まれた状態の車両用格納シート上には人や物が載せられるため、クッション材載置部とクッション材との間にケーブルが挟まれていると、ケーブルに負荷が掛かることが多くなるので、本発明の効果がより有意義なものとなる。
 請求項21に記載の車両用格納シートによれば、上記のように、格納操作をスムーズに行うことができ、且つ車体フロアへの組み付け作業時、作業性が良好な車両用格納シートを提供することができる。また、容易に折り畳み動作を行うことができ、さらにこの時、シートバックが急速に傾倒することなく、安定して折り畳み動作を行うことが可能となる。そして、シートがガタつくことなく折り畳み動作を行うことが可能であるため、格納操作を確実に行うことが可能な車両用格納シートを提供することができる。
 さらに、単な構成で格納準備位置以外で跳ね上げが生じないように規制することが可能となる。また構成が簡単で部品点数を少なくして重量を削減でき、格納準備位置を確実に検知でき、取付け作業の精度の向上や、コストを削減できる。さらにまた、着座フレームの側方から引き込むケーブルを、クッション材載置部とクッション材との間に挟むことなく適切に配索した車両用格納シートを提供することが可能である。

 以下、本発明の一実施形態について、図1~図11を参照して説明する。ただし、以下に説明する部材、配置等については、本発明を限定するものではなく、本発明の趣旨に沿って各種改変することができると共に、その等価物が含まれることは勿論である。
 なお、以下では、具体例として車両の左右に分割された2列目のシートについて説明するが、これに限定されず一体に形成された長いベンチタイプのシートや助手席、また、他のリヤシートについても同様の構成が適用可能であることは勿論である。

 なお、以下の説明では、車両のフロント側を前方と呼び、リア側を後方と呼ぶ。
 <<本実施形態の車両用格納シートの概要>>
 先ず、本実施形態に係る車両用格納シート(以下、本シートSと称する)について図1~図8を参照しながら説明する。
 本シートSを装備した車両は、前後に2列のシートを備えるものであり、2列目(後部側)のシートが格納可能に構成されている。本シートSは、車両の進行方向に沿った移動方向(図1中、矢印にて示す方向)にスライド移動可能に構成されている。
 また、本シートSは、シートバック2を着座部1に対して回動させることにより、折り畳み可能であり、折り畳んだ状態で車両の進行方向に対して前方向に回動して前方下部の車体フロアD上に格納されるように構成されている。なお、車体フロアDは段差を有しており、本シートSが配置される位置(通常使用時)が、格納される位置よりも一段高く形成されている。そのために、本シートSが前方に格納されることによって、シートバック2の背面と本シートSが配置される位置とでフラットな荷室を確保することができる。
 本シートSは車体フロアD上に配置されており、図1及び図2に示すように、着座部1と、シートバック2と、ヘッドレスト3とから構成されている。また、シートバック2の下方(換言すると、着座部1の後方)には、本シートSのリクライニングの解除を行うためのリクライニング解除レバー11が配設されている。なお、リクライニング解除の操作手段としては、本実施形態に示すレバー状の他、紐状やストラップ状として構成してもよい。本シートSは、以下に説明するシートフレームにクッション材を配置(載置)して、表皮で被覆してなるものである。
 図3に示した本シートSのシートフレームFは、着座部1を構成する着座フレーム4と、シートバック2を構成するシートバックフレーム5と、から構成されている。また、シートバックフレーム5の上部には、不図示のヘッドレストを支持するピラーを挿着可能とするピラー支持部5aが形成されている。
 着座フレーム4は、着座部1を構成するもので、この着座フレーム4の上部に、クッション材としてのクッションパッドPが配置(載置)され、表皮材で覆われてなるものであり、乗員を下部から支持するものである。
 着座フレーム4の前側は、車体フロアDに対して車両の前後方向に回動可能に支持されている。着座フレーム4の後側には、インターロック機構40と、ストライカロック機構70とが設けられている。着座フレーム4は、ストライカロック(ラッチ72)を備えたストライカロック機構70を介して車体フロアD側のストライカ41(図15参照)に係止されており、このストライカロック機構70は、ストライカロック(ラッチ72)とストライカ41が操作レバー等により解除操作可能に構成されている。
 また、インターロック機構40は、ストライカロック機構70によってシートロックが解除されても、最後方位置(リアモスト)にならない限り、シートが跳ね上がらないようにする機構である。
 また、着座フレーム4は、着座フレーム4の底部を規定する底部プレート6、左右に離間して対向する側部ブラケット8,8を有している。さらに、着座フレーム4では、側部ブラケット8,8間を連結する連結部材7、一方の側部ブラケット8とシートバックフレーム5の側板5bとの間には、これらを連結するための架設プレート9が配設されている。側部ブラケット8,8は、それぞれその底部にシートスライド機構20,20が配設されており、後述するリクライニング機構10及びシートスライド機構20を介してシートバック2の操作に連動して前後方向に移動可能に構成されている。なお、シートスライド機構20の構成に関しては、以下で詳述する。
 シートバックフレーム5は、クッションパッドP、表皮材等によって覆われて乗員の背中を後方から支持するシートバック2を構成するものである。シートバックフレーム5は、リクライニング機構10を介して着座フレーム4と連結されている。
 そして、リクライニング機構10により、シートバック2は着座部1に対して回動可能となっている。なお、本実施形態では、リクライニング機構10として、リクライニング解除レバー11を操作することにより、シートバック2の回動の係止を解除する公知の機構が用いられている。
 <本シートSに設けられた各機構>
 本シートSには、リクライニング機構10と、シートスライド機構20と、スライドロック機構30と、インターロック機構40と、アシスト機構50と、リンク機構60と、ストライカロック機構70と、が設けられている。
 リクライニング機構10は、本シートSのシートバックフレーム5を着座フレーム4に対して傾動可能に支持する機構である。
 シートスライド機構20は、ロアレール21に対してアッパーレール22を移動させて、本シートSを車両の前後方向に(すなわち、スライドレール24に沿って)スライド移動させる機構である。
 スライドロック機構30は、リクライニング機構10と連動してシートスライド機構20の動作を禁止または許容し、本シートSのシートバックフレーム5が傾倒するタイミングに合わせて、シートスライド機構20のスライドロックを解除する。
 さらに、インターロック機構40は、車体フロアDのストライカ41に本シートSを係止して、本シートSが車体フロアDから離脱して前方回動するのを規制する。
 また、アシスト機構50は、本シートSの復帰操作と格納操作をアシストする機構である。
 リンク機構60は、リクライニング機構10と対向する位置に設けられ、リクライニング機構10と連動して着座フレーム4とシートバックフレーム5との角度を適宜調整する機構である。ストライカロック機構70は、車体フロアDのストライカ41に本シートSを係止して、シートスライド機構20のロアレール21の後部を車体フロアDに係止する機構である。ストライカロック機構70により、本シートSの前方回動が規制される。
 以下、図4乃至図7を参照して、リクライニング機構10及びリンク機構60に関して詳述する。
 <リクライニング機構10>
 リクライニング機構10は、着座フレーム4の車体後方側(より詳細には、着座フレーム4の側部ブラケット8に固着された架設プレート9)、及びシートバックフレーム5の下方側を連結し、シートバックフレーム5を着座フレーム4に対して傾動可能に支持する機能を有している。リクライニング機構10は、リクライニング解除レバー11と、シートバックフレーム5を前方に傾倒する方向、すなわち「第1方向」に付勢する第1付勢部材としてのスパイラルばね12と、を備えている。また、後述のスライドロック機構30に備えられる連動プレート32が、本発明の第1係合部材に相当する。
 リクライニング解除レバー11は、一方の端部がシートフレームFの架設プレート9側に軸支されており、他方の端部を上方へ回動させると、リクライニング機構10のロックが解除され、シートバックフレーム5が傾動可能となる。なお、このようにリクライニング解除レバー11を操作することにより、リクライニング機構10のロックが解除される構成は、公知の構成を用いることができる。
 そして、リクライニング機構10に備えられる第1付勢部材としてのスパイラルばね12は、着座フレーム4の架設プレート9に係止されており、通常の状態(すなわち、乗員が着座する状態)において、シートバックフレーム5を第1方向に付勢する。通常の状態のリクライニング機構10の構成について、図4(a)を参照して説明する。
 スパイラルばね12は、架設プレート9の外面(乗員が着座する位置に対して外側の面)に取り付けられており、本実施形態では、内側から右回り(シートバックフレーム5の外側から見たときに右回り)の螺旋状に巻回して形成されている。スパイラルばね12は金属製の線状部材によって形成されており、その内側端部は、略U字状に折曲されており、架設プレート9に係止されている。一方、スパイラルばね12の外側の端部は、略U字状に折曲された折曲部12aを備えており、通常の状態では、第1係合部材としての連動プレート32に係合する。
 第1係合部材としての連動プレート32は、シートバックフレーム5の側板5bに取り付けられた部材であり、シートバックフレーム5と連動する部材である。連動プレート32は、断面鉤状に形成されており、シートバックフレーム5の側板5bに接合される第1面32aと、第1面32aから略垂直に立ち上がるように形成された第2面32bと、第2面32bから略垂直に下方に向かって延設された第3面32cを備えている。なお、図4(a)~図7(a)は、説明のため、第3面32cを点線で示している。
 通常状態において、スパイラルばね12の折曲部12aは、架設プレート9の上方端部よりも上方であって、且つ車体後方側に配設され、架設プレート9の上方端部から突出するように配設される。
 そして、シートバックフレーム5の側板5bは、図4(a)に示すように、車体後方に傾斜しており、連動プレート32は側板5bに接合されているため、側板5bの傾きによって連動プレート32の第1面32aの傾き及び位置が決定される。このとき、スパイラルばね12の折曲部12aは、第2面32bによって押し止められる。したがって、通常状態では、スパイラルばね12により、シートバックフレーム5は第1方向に付勢される。
 また、架設プレート9の上方端部(本実施形態では、円弧状に形成された部分)には、シートバックフレーム5の側板5bの平面から略垂直に立ち上がる向き(図4(a)において手前側に立ち上がる向き)に折曲されたストッパ部9cが形成されている。
 ストッパ部9cは、シートバックフレーム5が前方に傾倒し、ほぼ折り畳まれた状態(図7(a)の状態)であるとき、折曲部12aと係合する。折曲部12aがストッパ部9cに係合することにより、折曲部12aは、ストッパ部9cよりも前方にスライドしないような構成となっている。
 なお、シートバックフレーム5とスパイラルばね12の動きは、リンク機構60の動きと合わせて後述する。
 <シートスライド機構20>
 シートスライド機構20は、車体の前後方向に延在するスライドレール24(ロアレール21と、ロアレール21に対し摺動可能に係合するアッパーレール22)と、アッパーレール22を自動的に後方へスライドさせるスライド付勢部材23とを備えて、着座フレーム4の下方に取り付けられている(図3、図11参照)。そして、本シートSの格納時にシートバックフレーム5がリクライニング機構10によって所定角度まで傾斜する動きと連動して着座フレーム4(より詳細には、アッパーレール22)を自動的に後方にスライド移動させる。シートスライド機構20の主な部材は、車体の前後方向に延在するロアレール21と、ロアレール21に対し摺動可能に係合するアッパーレール22と、アッパーレール22を自動的に後方へスライドさせるスライド付勢部材23とを備えている。ロアレール21とアッパーレール22とが互いに摺動する構成は公知の構成を用いることができる。また、シートスライド機構20は、左右の側部ブラケット8,8に同様の構成を有しているため、任意の一方側(リクライニング解除レバー11が取り付けられた側)について説明する。
 ロアレール21は、車体フロアD上に配置されストライカロック機構70により車体フロアDのストライカ41で固定されて、アッパーレール22がスライド可能に取り付けられている。アッパーレール22は、図8(b)等に示されるように、略水平に形成された上面22aにおいて側部ブラケット8の底壁8cに固着されている。したがって、ロアレール21に対してアッパーレール22が摺動すると、その上方に備えられた着座フレーム4及びシートバックフレーム5がアッパーレール22と同方向にスライドする。なお、側部ブラケット8は、略水平な底壁8c以外にも、外壁8a、内壁8bを備えた正面視略U字状に形成されている。また、外壁8aの上端からはフランジ部8dが延設されている。
 スライド付勢部材23は、本発明のシートスライド機構20に備えられるスライド付勢部材に相当するもので、アッパーレール22を自動的に摺動させるものであり、着座フレーム4の前後方向に沿って、側部ブラケット8の内側に配設されている。スライド付勢部材23の一方の端部は、アッパーレール22が接合された側部ブラケット8の前方端部に取り付けられたフレーム側ブラケット25に係止(固着)されており、他方の端部は、本シートSが通常の使用状態(すなわち、乗員の着座時)であるとき、スライド付勢部材23が一定の強度で引き伸ばされた状態で、後述のインターロック機構40を構成する部材の一部に係止されている。インターロック機構40は、本シートSの跳ね上げ操作を規制する機構であり、ロアレール21の後方端部に取り付けられている。本実施形態では、ストライカロック機構70とロアレール21との間に配設されている。
 スライド付勢部材23としては、ばね、ゴム等の部材を用いることができる。また、モータ等の電装部材を用いてもよい。そして、スライド付勢部材23は、本シートSが通常の使用状態であるときは、引き伸ばされた状態でロアレール21及びアッパーレール22の延在方向に沿って係止されているため、フレーム側ブラケット25を後方へスライドさせるように付勢している。すなわち、スライド付勢部材23は、本シートSの着座フレーム4を後方へスライドさせるように付勢している。
 しかし、乗員が着座する通常の使用状態においては、後述のスライドロック機構30によってロアレール21とアッパーレール22のスライドが禁止されるため、本シートSはスライドすることなく、適当な位置を保持している。そして、スライドロック機構30のスライドの禁止を解除するように作動し、シートスライド機構20のロックが解除されると、スライド付勢部材23が本シートSの後方へ向かって縮むため、アッパーレール22が後方へ引っ張られるようになる結果、最終的に本シートSの着座フレーム4より上方が後方にスライド移動するようになる。
 なお、スライド付勢部材23は、着座フレーム4の左右側両方の側部ブラケット8,8に取り付けられていてもよく、片側の側部ブラケット8,8に取り付けられていても良い。スライド付勢部材23の本数は、本シートSの重量等に依存して適宜決定される。
 <スライドロック機構30>
 本実施形態のスライドロック機構30は、シートスライド機構20のスライドロックを適宜解除する。スライドロック機構30を駆動させる部材は、上述のリクライニング機構10と連動しており、シートバックフレーム5に配設される部分と、ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22に係合する部分とに分かれており、これらの機構は、棒状部材31によって連結されている。
 そして、シートバックフレーム5が傾倒する動作に依存して棒状部材31が車体の後方側に引っ張られると、棒状部材31の動きによって、スライドロック機構30のロアレール21及びアッパーレール22に係合する部分が、シートスライド機構20のロックを解除するように構成されている。
 一方、シートバックフレーム5が傾倒する動作に依存して棒状部材31が車体の前方側に押しだされると、棒状部材31の動きによって、スライドロック機構30のロアレール21及びアッパーレール22に係合する部分が、シートスライド機構20をロックするように構成されている。
 以下、具体的に説明する。
 図8は、シートバックフレーム5を傾倒させる前の状態(すなわち、乗員が着座する状態)を示している。本シートSにおいて、シートバックフレーム5には、連動プレート32の一端が係止されており、連動プレート32は、シートバックフレーム5の側板5bに対して略平行に係止されている。連動プレート32は、略鉤状に形成された板状の部材であり、シートバックフレーム5の動きを後述のロック解除プレート36に伝達する。
 連動プレート32がロック解除プレート36にその動きを伝達する構成は、適宜公知の構成を用いることができるが、図8を参照して、その一例を説明する。
 連動プレート32の上端に備えられる第1面32aはシートバックフレーム5に接合されており、一方、連動プレート32(第3面32c)の下端は適当な凹凸が形成されている。また、第1面32aと第3面32cとの間には、第1面32aと第3面32cに対して略垂直に架設された第2面32bが備えられている。連動プレート32の凹部32dは、その下方に配設されるキャンセルレバー33から突出したカラー33aに係合するものであり(図8(a)参照)、シートバックフレーム5の動きをキャンセルレバー33に伝達する。
 キャンセルレバー33は、突起部33b,33cを備えた小片であり、その下方の端部は不図示の係止部材によってレール解除レバー34に係止されている。突起部33bは、架設プレート9の縁端から折曲されたフランジ部9aに対して当接し、その位置を調節する。
 キャンセルレバー33に係止されたレール解除レバー34は、略鉤状に形成された板片であり、前方に突出した突起部34aには、付勢部材34bの一端が取り付けられている。この付勢部材34bの他端は、架設プレート9に横架されたブラケット35に取り付けられている。
 そして、レール解除レバー34の一端側(上方に配設された端部)は略円形に形成されており、架設プレート9の一部に形成された略円形状の突出部9bと係合し、レール解除レバー34の動きが規制される。一方、レール解除レバー34の下方端部には、棒状部材31及びワイヤケーブルWの一端がそれぞれ係止されている。
 以下、ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22側に設けられたスライドロック機構30について説明する。レール解除レバー34にその一端が係止された棒状部材31は、その他端が軸部材31aによって連結プレート31bに軸支される。連結プレート31bは、その一端側に棒状部材31が軸支されており、他端側には連結軸31cが挿通され、係止される。
 連結軸31cは、側部ブラケット8の外壁8a、連結プレート31b、ロック解除プレート36、解除プレート付勢部材37、側部ブラケット8の内壁8bを貫通して配設されている。ロック解除プレート36は、その上端部に連結軸31cが挿通されており、下端部は側部ブラケット8の底壁8cに形成された解除プレート挿通孔8eと、アッパーレール22の上面22aに形成された解除プレート挿通孔22bとを貫通して配設される。
 また、ロック解除プレート36は、連結軸31cが挿通された部分の近傍に解除プレート付勢部材37の一端が挿通される孔36aが形成されている。解除プレート付勢部材37は、コイルばね等を用いることができ、解除プレート付勢部材37のロック解除プレート36に挿通されていない側の端部は、側部ブラケット8の底壁8cに当接するように配設されている。
 解除プレート付勢部材37は、連結軸31cの動きに伴って、側部ブラケット8の底壁8cとロック解除プレート36との相対位置を変化させるために備えられている。解除プレート付勢部材37は、一端が側部ブラケット8の底壁8cに当接しており、他端がロック解除プレート36に係合しているため、その付勢力によってロック解除プレート36の位置を制御することができる。
 ロック解除プレート36は、その下端部がロック部材38の上方に配設される。
 ロック部材38はアッパーレール22の内側に取付ブラケット39を介して取り付けられた板状の部材である。ロック部材38は、一端部側に係止孔38aが形成されており、係止孔38aは、取付ブラケット39に形成された爪部39aに係止される。なお、取付ブラケット39は、アッパーレール22の内面に沿うように断面鉤状に形成された部材であり、爪部39aは、アッパーレール22の内側(上面22a及び側面22cによって囲まれる部分)に向かって突出して形成されている。
 ロアレール21に形成された突起部21aは、ロアレール21の巻き込み部分の端部に形成された連続突起であり、係止孔38bに係止されることでアッパーレール22のスライドをロックすることができる。なお、ロック部材38は不図示の付勢ばねによって押し上げる方向に付勢されているため、ロック解除プレート36の下端部に押圧されていない状態では突起部21aと係止孔38bとが歯合された状態で保持される。
 そして、ロック部材38の上面22aに対して、ロック解除プレート36が押し下げられた際、図9(b)のように、ロック部材38の中間部分が押し下げられ、ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22のロック状態を解除する。
 以下、図8~図10に基づき、スライドロック機構30の動作について説明する。
 図8は、ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22がロックされている状態を示しており、図8(a)にロアレール21及びアッパーレール22がロックされている状態の説明図、図8(b)にロアレール21及びアッパーレール22がロックされている状態のA-A線に相当する横断面概略図を示す。
 ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22がロックされている状態では、棒状部材31が引っ張られていないため、ロック解除プレート36はロック部材38の上方に当接しない構成となっている。このため、ロアレール21の突起部21aとロック部材38の係止孔38bが歯合された状態で保持されており、ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22は、互いにスライドできない状態となる。
 そして、図9は、シートスライド機構20のロックが解除された状態を示しており、図9(a)にロアレール21及びアッパーレール22がロック解除されている状態の説明図、図9(b)にロアレール21及びアッパーレール22がロック解除されている状態のB-B線に相当する横断面概略図を示す。
 図9のように、リクライニング解除レバー11が操作され、リクライニング機構10によってシートバックフレーム5が傾倒されると、シートバックフレーム5に伴って、連動プレート32の上端が前方へ傾倒し、さらにキャンセルレバー33、レール解除レバー34が傾倒し、レール解除レバー34の下方端部に係止された棒状部材31が後方へ引っ張られる。
 一方、リクライニング解除レバー11が取り付けられていない側の側部ブラケット8には、図3に示すように、リンク機構60の一部であるスパイラルばね61が取り付けられている。そして、リクライニング解除レバー11が操作されると、そのスパイラルばね61の反力により、シートバックフレーム5の傾倒する速度が減速される。
 棒状部材31が後方へ引っ張られると、その動きがロアレール21及びアッパーレール22側に配設された連結プレート31b、連結軸31cに順に伝達され、解除プレート付勢部材37の力により、ロック解除プレート36が下方へ押し下げられる。
 すなわち、ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22のロックが解除された状態では、棒状部材31が引っ張られているためにロック解除プレート36が回動し、ロック解除プレート36の下端部が下方に押し下げられる。このため、ロアレール21の突起部21aとロック部材38の係止孔38bの歯合が解除された状態となり、本シートSのスライドが可能になる。
 本シートSのスライドが可能になるとき、ロアレール21に対してアッパーレール22が自由に摺動可能であるため、上述のスライド機構20に備えられたスライド付勢部材23が縮むことが許容される。スライド付勢部材23の一端はアッパーレール22の前方端部に取り付けられており、他方の端部は、本シートSの後方に配設されたインターロック機構40の一部に係止されているため、スライド機構20のロックが解除されると、スライド付勢部材23の付勢力により、着座フレーム4が後方へ自動的に移動する。
 その後、さらにシートバックフレーム5がさらに傾倒され、本シートSの後方に配設されたインターロック機構40が解除されると、本シートSは、後方から跳ね上げられ、後述のように車体フロアDに格納される。
 したがって、リクライニング解除レバー11を引き上げると、所定角度までシートバックフレーム5が傾倒し、スライド付勢部材23によって自動的に着座フレーム4が後方へ移動する。そしてこのとき、リンク機構60によって、シートバックフレーム5は傾動することなく、着座フレーム4との成す角度は固定された状態となる。このように、シートバックフレーム5の角度を固定した状態で着座フレーム4の摺動を行うことにより、より安定した動作で確実に着座フレーム4を最後方まで移動させることができる。
 さらに、ストライカロック機構70により、ロアレール21が車体フロアDのストライカ41で固定されていたものが、開錠作動しても、本シートSは跳ね上げられることがない。着座フレーム4は、スライド付勢部材23により、インターロック機構40が解除される位置、すなわち格納するために最適な位置(最後方位置:リアモスト)まで確実に移動するため、本シートSは格納操作を効率的に行うことができる。
 また、本シートSは、シートを自動でスライドさせるための機構(リクライニング機構10,シートスライド機構20,スライドロック機構30,インターロック機構40,ストライカロック機構70)がすべてシート側に設けられているので、組み付け作業時、その作業が煩雑になることが無く、作業性が向上する。
 さらに、図10は、シートバックフレーム5がさらに傾倒し、シートスライド機構20が再ロックされた状態を示しており、図10(a)にロアレール21及びアッパーレール22が再ロックされている状態の説明図、図10(b)にロアレール21及びアッパーレール22が再ロックされている状態のC-C線に相当する横断面概略図を示す。
 図10のように、図9の状態(ロック状態)から、さらにシートバックフレーム5が傾倒されると、シートバックフレーム5に伴って、連動プレート32の上端が前方へさらに傾倒する。その結果、キャンセルレバー33が図8のように、通常の状態(乗員が着座するときの状態)に押し戻され、キャンセルレバー33の下方端部が上方へ引き上げられ、突起部33bが架設プレート9のフランジ部9aに押しつけられる。それに伴い、レール解除レバー34も通常の状態に引き起こされ、レール解除レバー34の下方端部に係止された棒状部材31が図9の状態(ロック状態)から前方へ押し戻され、通常の状態(後方へ引っ張られていない状態)に戻る。
 棒状部材31がロック状態と比較して前方へ押しだされると、その動きがロアレール21及びアッパーレール22側に配設された連結プレート31b、連結軸31cに順に伝達され、解除プレート付勢部材37の力により、ロック解除プレート36が上方へ引き上げられる。
 すなわち、ロアレール21及びアッパーレール22の再ロックされた状態では、ロック解除プレート36の下端部がロック部材38の上方に引き上げられる。このため、ロアレール21の突起部21aとロック部材38の係止孔38bが再び歯合する状態となり、本シートSのスライドがロックされる。
 以下、本シートSに設けられた機構のうち、ストライカロック機構70、インターロック機構40、アシスト機構50及びリンク機構60について説明する。
 <ストライカロック機構70>
 本実施形態のストライカロック機構70は、図4で示すようにストライカ41を受け入れる下向きU字状の受け口を設けた二枚の相対する側板71をベースに、図11及び図12に示すように、ストライカ41をくわえ込む受け顎を有するフック状のラッチ72と、ラッチ72を係止するカム状のラチェット73とを支軸72b,73aで側板71の間隔内に軸承枢着することにより組み立てられている。このストライカロック機構70は、不図示の掛止め突起をラッチ72に設け、不図示の受止め突起をラチェット73に設けて互いに係合,離脱することからストライカ41と施錠,開錠可能に組み立てられている。
 ラッチ72は、捩りコイルばね(不図示)でストライカ41をくわえ込み方向並びに離脱方向の双方にバネ付勢されている。ラチェット73は、ラッチ72との間に掛け渡すコイルスプリング74でラッチ72と係合する方向にバネが引っ張られている。この他、ストライカ41をくわえ込み時の緩衝パッド75が受け口の奥側で側板71の外側に取付け固定されている。また、牽引ワイヤのワイヤ端を連結する揺動片がラチェット73を軸承する支軸73aの同軸上に取り付けられている。
 ストライカロック機構70は、図11で示すように、ラチェット73を不図示のレバー操作で、同じく不図示のワイヤで、コイルスプリング74に抗して引っ張ると、ラチェット73が支軸73aを中心に揺動すると共に、ラチェット73の受止め突起がラッチ72の掛止め突起から外れ、ラッチ72が支軸72bを中心に捩りコイルばねでストライカ41より離脱方向に揺動することにより開錠作動する。これらの構成は公知のものであるので、詳細は省略する。
 これにより、本シートSがシートバック2の折畳み状態で後部側から上方に跳ね上げ可能となるが、本実施形態では、リアモスト位置になるまで、後述するインターロック機構40により、跳ね上げが規制される。なお、リアモスト位置であれば、インターロック機構40も同時に、ストライカ41から離脱しており、跳ね上げが行われる。
 <インターロック機構40>
 インターロック機構40は、本シートSが格納準備位置(リアモスト)以外で跳ね上げが生じないように規制する機構であり、本実施形態のインターロック機構40は、シートフレーム(ロアレール21)とストライカロック機構70との間に設けられている。インターロック機構40は、着座フレーム4側(より詳細には、ロアレール21)に取り付けられたロックブラケット43と、このロックブラケット43に対して軸支されたインターロック42と、インターロック42をストライカ41側へ付勢するインターロック付勢部材44と、インターロック42を押圧する押圧部材45を主たる構成要素として有している(図12乃至図15参照)。
 ロックブラケット43は、図12乃至図15で示すように、長尺の板体から構成され、ロアレール21の側部にボルトナット等により固着される。ロックブラケット43の車体前方側には、係止孔43aが形成され、この係止孔43aより中央寄り上方に突起部が形成され、この突起部に係止孔43bが形成されている。また、係止孔43bよりも中央側(図15で右側)には、インターロック42を軸支する支軸(回転軸部42a)が形成されている。そして、係止孔43aには、後述のシートスライド機構20のスライド付勢部材23の一端が取り付けられ、係止孔43bには、インターロック付勢部材44であるコイルスプリングの一端が係止される。
 押圧部材45は、板体をL字状に折り曲げてアッパーレール22に固着されているもので、折り曲げられた部分(折曲部)45aがアッパーレール22よりロックブラケット43側でロックブラケット43より上方位置に配置され、インターロック42の当接部42dと衝接するように設けられている。
 インターロック42は、板体で、ロックブラケット43に回動可能に軸支される回転(回動)軸部42aと、回転(回動)軸部42aから一端側が鉤状に形成されたフック部42bと、フック部42bと反対側の他端側に形成された係止孔42cと、この係止孔42cより、アッパーレール22側に折り曲げられて突起させた当接部42dと、から構成されている。
 回転軸部42aとストライカ41とは、係合時には、直線上(好ましくは垂直線上)に位置するようになっている。またインターロック42のフック部42bと反対側の端部は斜面部42eとなっており、後述するように、ストライカ41と当接したときに、この斜面部42eに沿って、インターロック42が回転軸部42aを中心にインターロック付勢部材44に抗して、回動し、その後、ストライカ41をフック部42bで噛み合うように構成している。
 係止孔42cにはインターロック付勢部材44であるコイルスプリングの一端が係止されており、インターロック付勢部材44の他方の端部は、上記したようにロックブラケット43の係止孔43bに係止されている。
 この構成により、インターロック42の上方は車体前方(図15の左側)に付勢され、インターロック42は、下方に形成された鉤状の部分であるフック部42bにおいてストライカ41と係合する。
 そして、本シートSのシートスライド機構20が作動すると、着座フレーム4の側部ブラケット8が車体後方(図15の右側)へスライドするため、側部ブラケット8に取り付けられた押圧部材45の折れ曲がった部分がインターロック42の上方の当接部42dを車体後方へ押圧し、ストライカ41との係止状態を解除するように作動する。
 なお、インターロック42とストライカ41との係止状態が解除されると、着座部1は、アシスト機構50のみに支持されるようになるため前後方向に回動可能な状態となる。
 <アシスト機構50>
 本実施形態のアシスト機構50は、本シートSの格納操作や復帰操作をアシストする。具体的に説明すると、アシスト機構50は、複数のアシストばね51,52を有し、当該複数のアシストばね51,52の中には、本シートSの復帰操作時に本シートSを復帰方向に付勢するものと、本シートSの格納操作時に折り畳み方向(格納方向)に付勢するものが存在する。
 一方、本シートS側には、アシストばね51,52と接触する位置に、アシストばね51,52の付勢力を受ける被付勢部(不図示)が設けられている。この被付勢部のアシストばね51,52との接触面は、本シートSの状態(格納状態又は設置状態)に応じて切り替わる。これにより、複数のアシストばね51,52のうち、被付勢部を付勢するアシストばね51,52が本シートSの状態によって切り替わることとなる。
 以上の構成のアシスト機構50において、本シートSが格納状態にあるとき、本シートSを復帰する方向に付勢するアシストばね51,52が被付勢部を付勢する。この結果、不図示のロック機構によって本シートSの回動がロックされた状態を脱すると、本シートSへ復帰方向に回動させるアシストばね51,52の付勢力が働く。これにより、本シートSが復帰方向に跳ね上がるため、少ない力で本シートSを復帰させることが可能となる。
 一方、本シートSが設置状態にあるとき、本シートSを折り畳み方向に付勢するアシストばね51,52が被付勢部を付勢する。この結果、インターロック機構40によって本シートSが車体フロアDに対してロックされた状態を脱すると、本シートSへ折り畳み方向に回動させるアシストばね51,52の付勢力が働く。これにより、本シートSが折り畳み方向に跳ね上がるため、少ない力で本シートSを格納することが可能になる。
 <リンク機構60>
 リンク機構60は、図3に示すように、着座フレーム4の車体後方側(より詳細には、着座フレーム4の側部ブラケット8)、及びシートバックフレーム5の下方側を連結し、シートバックフレーム5を着座フレーム4に対して傾動可能に支持している。リンク機構60は、リクライニング機構10が備えられる側部ブラケット8と対向する位置に配設される。
 リンク機構60の主な部材は、図3に示すように、側部ブラケット8の内側、すなわちシートバックフレーム5の管状部材5cが配設される側に取り付けられるスパイラルばね61と、シートバックフレーム5に固定され、シートバックフレーム5の動きと連動する連動レバー62と、を備えている。さらに、リンク機構60は、側部ブラケット8の内側に取り付けられ、スパイラルばね61を係止するストッパ部材63もまた備えている。そして、スパイラルばね61は、シートバックフレーム5を後方に傾倒する方向、すなわち「第2方向」に付勢する第2付勢部材である。また、連動レバー62が、第2係合部材に相当する。
 そして、リンク機構60に備えられる第2付勢部材としてのスパイラルばね61は、その端部が略U字状に屈曲しており、その屈曲部が連動レバー62に当接することにより、シートバックフレーム5の前方への傾動が阻止される。したがって、シートスライド機構20によりアッパーレール22(着座フレーム4)がスライドする際、シートバックフレーム5は前方に傾動するが、リンク機構60のスパイラルばね61と連動レバー62が係合することにより、シートバックフレーム5はそれ以上傾斜することなく、所定の傾斜角度を保持することができる。
 したがって、シートバックフレーム5の傾斜角度を保持して着座フレーム4のスライド操作が行われるため、本シートSは、安定して自動的に着座フレーム4を後方へスライドさせることが可能である。
 リンク機構60に備えられる第2付勢部材としてのスパイラルばね61は、着座フレーム4の側部ブラケット8の内側に係止されており、シートバックフレーム5が着座フレーム4側に傾倒された状態の時、シートバックフレーム5を第2方向に付勢する。
 まず、通常の状態(すなわち、乗員が着座する状態)の状態のリンク機構60の構成について、図4(b)を参照して説明する。なお、図4(b)~図7(b)では、シートバックフレーム5の管状部材5cの立設方向を太線で示す。
 スパイラルばね61は、側部ブラケット8の内面に取り付けられており、本実施形態では、内側から左回り(シートバックフレーム5の内側から見たときに左回り)の螺旋状に巻解して形成されている。すなわち、上述の第1付勢部材であるスパイラルばね12とは、逆向きの螺旋構造である。また、スパイラルばね61の直径は、上述のスパイラルばね12の直径よりも小さく形成されており、さらに、その巻数もスパイラルばね12よりも少なく形成されている。したがって、スパイラルばね12と比較して、スパイラルばね61の方が、得られる付勢力が小さくなるように形成されている。
 また、ストッパ部材63は、スパイラルばね61と側部ブラケット8との間に配設された板状の部材であり、側部ブラケット8の内側面に固着されている。そして、ストッパ部材63は、その固着された面から外側に立ち上がる方向(図4(b)の手前側に立ち上がる向き)へ折曲された係止部63aを備えている。
 係止部63aは、シートバックフレーム5が回動する回動軸5dよりも着座フレーム4の後方側に配設される。
 スパイラルばね61は、金属製の線状部材によって形成されており、その内側端部は、略U字状に折曲されており、着座フレーム4の側部ブラケット8に係止されている。一方、スパイラルばね61の外側の端部は、略U字状に折曲された折曲部61aを備えており、通常の状態では、ストッパ部材63の係止部63aに係合する。
 第2係合部材としての連動レバー62は、シートバックフレーム5の管状部材5cに固定された部材であり、シートバックフレーム5と連動する部材である。連動レバー62は、一端が円弧状の板片によって形成されており、シートバックフレーム5の回動軸5dが挿通され、回動軸5dから車体後方に向かって延設されている。そして、連動レバー62の車体後方側の端部には、係止凹部62aが形成されている。
 通常状態において、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aは、ストッパ部材63の係止部63aに係合するように配設される。
 そして、シートバックフレーム5の管状部材5cは、図4(b)に示すように、車体後方に傾斜しており、連動レバー62は管状部材5cに接合されているため、管状部材5cの傾きによって連動レバー62の傾き(延設方向)が決定される。このとき、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aは、係止部63aに係合した状態であり、通常状態では、スパイラルばね61は、シートバックフレーム5に対して付勢力を与えない。
 一方、シートバックフレーム5が前方に傾倒し、ほぼ折り畳まれた状態(図7(b)の状態)であるとき、連動レバー62の係止凹部62aは、側部ブラケット8の上方を向く構成となる。そして、このとき、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aは、側部ブラケット8に備えられたストッパ部材63ではなく、係止凹部62aと係合する。このように、折曲部61aが係止凹部62aに係合することにより、スパイラルばね61によって第2方向、すなわち後傾する向きにシートバックフレーム5が付勢される。
 <リクライニング機構10とリンク機構60との関係>
 次に、リクライニング機構10とリンク機構60が連動して、シートバックフレーム5の傾動を制御する機構について説明する。
 まず、通常の状態(乗員が着座する状態)、すなわち、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に回動して所定位置に到達する前の状態におけるリクライニング機構10と、リンク機構60の関係について図4を参照して、説明する。
 シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に回動して所定位置に到達する前の状態において、第1付勢部材であるスパイラルばね12は、第1係合部材である連動プレート32に係合した状態でシートバックフレーム5を第1方向に付勢する。
 図4(a)に示すリクライニング機構10において、スパイラルばね12は、その折曲部12aが連動プレート32の第2面32bに係合する状態で維持されている。このとき、後傾したシートバックフレーム5により、連動プレート32もまた後傾しているため、折曲部12aが後方へ引っ張られた状態となっている。したがって、シートバックフレーム5は、スパイラルばね12によって、第1方向(前傾方向)に付勢されている。
 つまり、通常状態、すなわち、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に回動して所定位置に到達する前の状態において、スパイラルばね12の折曲部12aは、着座フレーム4に備えられた架設プレート9のストッパ部9cよりも後方に設けられた連動プレート32に係止されており、シートバックフレーム5に対して、第1方向の付勢力を与えている。
 この構成により、シートバックフレーム5は、所定位置(手動操作範囲)まで、自動的に傾動動作を行う。
 一方、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に回動して所定位置に到達する前の状態において、第2付勢部材であるスパイラルばね61は、着座フレーム4(より詳細には、着座フレーム4に備えられたストッパ部材63の係止部63a)に係合する。
 図4(b)のリンク機構60において、第2付勢部材であるスパイラルばね61は、その折曲部61aがストッパ部材63の係止部63aに係合した状態で維持されている。このとき、側部ブラケット8にその内側端部が取り付けられたスパイラルばね61は、側部ブラケット8に取り付けられたストッパ部材63に折曲部61aが係合した状態であり、シートバックフレーム5に対して付勢力を与えるものではない。
 つまり、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aは、連動レバー62の係止凹部62aよりも下方において、着座フレーム4に備えられたストッパ部材63の係止部63aに係止されており、シートバックフレーム5に対して、付勢力を与えない状態となっている。
 次に、シートバックフレーム5の傾倒時におけるリクライニング機構10と、リンク機構60の関係について図5を参照して、説明する。
 リクライニング機構10のリクライニング解除レバー11を操作すると、そのロックが解除される。この状態では、上述のように、スパイラルばね12の付勢力により、第1方向にシートバックフレーム5が傾倒し、所定位置(すなわち、手動操作範囲)に到達する。
 図5(a)のリクライニング機構10において、第1付勢部材であるスパイラルばね12は、その折曲部12aが第1係合部材である連動プレート32の第2面32bに係合した状態である。そして、この状態では折曲部12aが連動プレート32を第1方向に押圧する構成となるため、スパイラルばね12の付勢力が作用し、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向(前傾方向)に傾倒する動作を行う。
 一方、図5(b)に示すように、シートバックフレーム5の傾倒動作中、リンク機構60において、第2付勢部材であるスパイラルばね61は、その折曲部61aがストッパ部材63の係止部63aに係合した状態で維持されている。そして、シートバックフレーム5の傾倒動作に伴い、係止凹部62aが上方に向かうように連動レバー62が回動する。
 このとき、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aは、連動レバー62の係止凹部62aよりも下方において、着座フレーム4に備えられたストッパ部材63の係止部63aに係止されているため、シートバックフレーム5に対して、付勢力を与えない状態となっている。
 したがって、リクライニング機構10のロックが解除された状態(傾倒時)においては、上記リクライニング機構10のスパイラルばね12により、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に付勢され、傾倒する。
 次に、本シートSのシートスライド時、すなわち、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に回動して所定位置(手動操作範囲)に到達した状態におけるリクライニング機構10と、リンク機構60の関係について図6を参照して、説明する。
 シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に回動して所定位置(手動操作範囲)に到達した後の状態において、第1付勢部材であるスパイラルばね12は、第1係合部材である連動プレート32との係合状態が解除されると共に、第2付勢部材であるスパイラルばね61が第2係合部材である連動レバー62と係合した状態でシートバックフレーム5を第2方向に付勢する。
 なお、このとき、第1付勢部材であるスパイラルばね12と第1係合部材である連動プレート32との係合状態が解除される前に、第2付勢部材であるスパイラルばね61が第2係合部材である連動レバー62と係合した状態でシートバックフレーム5を第2方向に付勢する状態になっているとさらに好適である。
 スパイラルばね12と連動プレート32との係合状態が解除された直後は、慣性によりシートバックフレーム5が第1方向へ回動する。しかし、スパイラルばね12と連動プレート32との係合状態が解除される前の状態において、第2方向の付勢力を加えることにより、シートバックフレーム5が所定角度に到達した際、急激に着座フレーム4側へ傾倒するのを防止することができる。
 上記図5の状態から、スパイラルばね12の付勢力によりシートバックフレーム5がさらに前方に傾倒すると、リンク機構60において、第2付勢部材であるスパイラルばね61の折曲部61aが、ストッパ部材63の係止部63aだけでなく、連動レバー62の係止凹部62aにも同時に係合する構成となる。そしてさらにシートバックフレーム5が傾倒すると、図6(b)に示すように、折曲部61aが連動レバー62の係止部62aに係合する構成となる。すなわち、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に傾倒する動作に伴い、連動レバー62が同じく第1方向に回動するため、係止凹部62aが、ストッパ部材63の係止部63aよりも上方に押し上げられ、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aが、ストッパ部材63から連動レバー62に掛け替わる。
 そして、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aが係止凹部62aによって上方に押し上げられるような構成となるため、スパイラルばね61により、シートバックフレーム5は第2方向(後傾方向)に付勢される。すなわち、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aが連動レバー62の係止凹部62aに係合するため、シートバックフレーム5が第2方向へ付勢される。
 このとき、スパイラルばね12の第1方向の付勢力とスパイラルばね61の第2方向の付勢力が互いに反対方向に作用する。しかし、上記のように、リクライニング機構10に備えられたスパイラルばね12の方がスパイラルばね61と比較して直径が大きく、且つ巻数が多いため、スパイラルばね12の付勢力がスパイラルばね61の付勢力よりも大きい。その結果、シートバックフレーム5は急激に第1方向に傾倒することなく、シートバックフレーム5の回動方向において所定位置(手動操作範囲)に到達するまで適当な速度で傾倒する。
 一方、シートバックフレーム5が第1方向に回動して所定位置(手動操作範囲)に到達した後の状態において、第1付勢部材であるスパイラルばね12は、着座フレーム4(より詳細には、着座フレーム4に備えられた架設プレート9のストッパ部9c)と係合することにより、スパイラルばね12による第1方向への付勢が解除される。そしてこの時、スパイラルばね61により、シートバックフレーム5は、第2方向への付勢力を受ける。
 図6(a)に示すように、図5の状態からシートバックフレーム5がさらに第1方向へ傾倒すると、リクライニング機構10のスパイラルばね12は、その折曲部12aが連動プレート32だけでなく、架設プレート9のストッパ部9cにも同時に当接する構成となる。したがって、スパイラルばね12の折曲部12aは架設プレート9のストッパ部9aによって係止されるため、第1方向への付勢力はシートバックフレーム5に作用しなくなる。
 このとき、リンク機構60のスパイラルばね61の第2方向の付勢力がシートバックフレーム5に対して作用するが、スパイラルばね12の付勢力(折曲部12が連動プレート32に係合したときに得られる付勢力)の方が大きいため、シートバックフレーム5は第2方向へ傾倒することなく、所定位置(所定角度)を維持する。
 また、シートバックフレーム5は、図6(a)の状態まで回動した際、慣性により第1方向へ傾倒するような力が加わるが、スパイラルばね61の付勢力が作用するため、シートバックフレーム5の急激な第1方向への傾倒を防止することができる。
 そして、図6の状態、すなわちシートバックフレーム5の傾斜角度が所定角度を保持する状態となったとき、連動プレート32はスライドロック機構30と連動する。すなわち、図6の状態において、後述のスライドロック機構30が作動してロックを解除し、シートスライド機構20によって、着座フレーム4が後方へスライドする。このとき、第1係合部材である連動プレート32がスライドロック機構30を動作させる役割も果たすため、部材点数を省略することができる。したがって、別部材を設けることによるシートの重量化、組み付け作業の煩雑化を伴うことがない。
 次に、シートバックフレーム5の折り畳み時におけるリクライニング機構10と、リンク機構60の関係について図7を参照して、説明する。
 図7は、図6の状態で着座フレーム4が後方へスライドした後、シートバックフレーム5を手動によってさらに前方に傾倒させ、シートバックフレーム5を折り畳む構成とした状態を示している。図7(a)に示すリクライニング機構10において、第1付勢部材であるスパイラルばね12の折曲部12aは、ストッパ部9cに係合する構成となる。このとき、シートバックフレーム5に取り付けられた連動プレート32に対してスパイラルばね12は係合しないため、シートバックフレーム5に対して付勢力が働かない構成となる。
 一方、図7(b)に示すように、シートバックフレーム5が折り畳まれた状態とすると、連動レバー62の係止凹部62aは、ストッパ部材63の係止部63aよりも上方に位置し、スパイラルばね61の折曲部61aは、係止凹部62aに係合する。
 このとき、スパイラルばね61によってシートバックフレーム5は、第2方向(シートバックフレーム5を起こす方向)の付勢力を受けるが、リクライニング機構10の不図示のロック機構によって、シートバックフレーム5が折り畳まれた状態が保持される。
 このように、シートバックフレーム5が所定位置(手動操作範囲)まで回動した後、さらにシートバックフレーム5を第1方向へ回動させる際、スパイラルばね61によって第2方向に付勢されているため、シートバックフレーム5が勢いよく回動することなく、安定して折り畳み動作を行うことができる。
 したがって、本シートSの格納操作を行う際、シートバックフレーム5の折り畳み操作を安定して行うことができるため、確実に格納操作を行うことが可能となり、格納操作の作業効率が向上する。
 <本シートSの折り畳み角度と各機構の連動>
 以下に、本シートSの折り畳み角度と各機構の連動について、図16に基づいて説明する。
 まず、本シートSの基準状態(角度I)でリクライニング解除レバー11が操作されることにより、リクライニング機構10の係止が解除され、リクライニング調整範囲内(角度I~II)でリクライニング角度の調整が可能となる。
 このとき、リクライニング解除レバー11が操作されただけの状態(リクライニング角度を調節する力が加えられない状態)であると、それに連動してスライドロック機構30のロックが解除され、シートスライド機構20が動作する(すなわち、スライド付勢部材23によって着座フレーム4が後方への付勢力を受け、ロアレール21に対してアッパーレール22が摺動する)。
 また、リクライニング解除レバー11が操作されただけの状態(リクライニング角度を調節する力が加えられない状態)であると、スパイラルばね12と連動プレート32との作用により、シートバックフレーム5に対して第1方向への付勢力が加わる。その結果、シートバックフレームは角度IIまで自動的に傾動する(すなわち、自動操作範囲に到達する)。
 また、このとき、シートバックフレーム5の傾倒動作に連動してスライドロック機構30のロックが解除され、シートスライド機構20が動作するため、角度IIを保持した状態で、本シートSは車体後方へスライドする。
 その後、リクライニング解除レバー11を操作しながら、更にシートバック2を前側に倒すと、角度IIIでスライドロック機構30が作動し、再びスライドがロックされる。なお、角度II~III(すなわち、手動操作範囲)の状態のとき、リンク機構60の反力により(リンク機構60の第2方向への付勢力が加わるため)、シートバック2は起立する方向へ付勢されている。
 そして、角度IVの位置までシートバック2を倒したときにストライカロック機構70及びインターロック機構40において、ストライカロック(ラッチ72)とストライカ41との係合状態の解除、インターロック42とストライカ41との係合状態がそれぞれ解除されて本シートSの前方回動が可能となる。このとき、本シートSのアシスト機構50によって本シートSが格納方向に向かうようにアシストされる。本シートSを前方回動させながら更に折り畳むと、水平方向Hに達したときにリクライニング機構10が再ロックし、公知の係止手段によって、着座部1に対するシートバック2の回動がロックされる。
 以上のように、本実施形態では、リクライニング解除レバー11を操作する1回の操作により、本シートSの折り畳み、スライドロックの解除、ストライカロックの解除、本シートSの最後方位置へのスライドが自動的に行われる。
 そして、本シートSの折り畳み、スライドロックの解除、本シートSの最後方位置へのスライド、スライド再ロック、ストライカロック機構70によるストライカ41との係合状態の解除、本シートSの格納方向への回動のアシスト、の各操作を本シートSの折り畳み角度に応じて順番に連動させることが可能である。このとき、インターロック機構40では、リアモストの位置になるまで、跳ね上げが規制され、リアモスト位置になったときに、インターロック42とストライカ41との係合状態の解除が行われる。これにより格納準備位置(即ちリアモスト)以外での跳ね上げが生じないように規制することが可能となる。
 次に、図17乃至図26に基づいて、本シートSの格納操作及び復帰操作について説明する。
 まず、本シートSの格納操作について説明する。本シートSが設置状態(図17(a)に示す状態)にあるときにストライカロック機構70によるストライカ41との係合状態が維持されており、同時にインターロック機構40は、図19で示すように、インターロック42がストライカ41と係合している(このとき、回転軸部42aとストライカ41とは一直線上(垂直)に位置している)。そして、リクライニング解除レバー11が操作されると、リクライニング機構のロックが解除される。これにより、本シートSは、上記リクライニング機構10とリンク機構60の作用により、所定角度に折り畳まれて固定された状態(図17(b)に示す状態)となる。このとき、同時にスライドロック機構30が作動してシートスライド機構20を摺動可能とする。そして、本シートSは所定角度に固定された状態を保持したまま、シートスライド機構20が作動し、これにより本シートSが後方にスライド移動する。本シートSのスライド移動を行なっても、図20で示すように、押圧部材45がインターロック42の当接部42dに衝接するまでは、インターロック42がストライカ41と係合している。
 その後、さらに手動により本シートSの折り畳みを進行させるとシートスライド機構20がスライドロック機構30によってロックされる。さらに折り畳みを進行させると(図17(c)参照)、ストライカロック機構70が作動し、ストライカロック(ラッチ72)がストライカ41から外れるようになり、ロアレール21が車体フロアDのストライカ41から離脱可能となる。このとき、インターロック機構40が、格納するために最適な位置(最後方位置:リアモスト)において作動する。つまり、シートスライドに伴って押圧部材45の折曲部45aがインターロック42の当接部42dに衝接し、図21及び図22で示すように、さらにインターロック42の当接部42dを押すことにより、インターロック42が回転軸42aを中心に回動し、角度α1の位置でフック部42bがストライカ41から外れる。そして、さらに押し込まれて角度α2の位置ではインターロック42が完全にストライカ41から外れ、これによりシートフレームの跳ね上がり規制が解除され、本シートSが前方に回動可能になる。
 この際(図17(d)参照)、アシスト機構50が本シートSの回動をアシストする。このように、インターロック機構40により格納準備位置であるリアモスト位置まで、跳ね上げが規制されるために、たとえストライカロック機構70が誤動作されても、跳ね上げ途上で詰ってしまう事態を生ずることなく、本シートSをシートバックの折畳み状態で後部側から上方に確実に跳ね上げられるよう構成することが可能となる。
 本シートSの前方回動が終了して本シートSが格納状態(図17(e)に示す状態)となると、着座部1の裏面と車体フロアDとが一体の平坦面となり、広い荷室が確保される。なお、格納状態において本シートSを車体フロアD側に固定するために、公知の係止手段を取り付けることができる。本シートSを固定することで車両の走行中に本シートSが不意に動くことを防止できる。
 続いて、本シートSの復帰操作について説明する。本シートSが格納状態(図18(a)に示す状態)にあるときに、本シートSを車体フロアDに固定している係止手段を解除すると、本シートSは後方に回動可能となる。そして、本シートSを後方回動させる操作を行う際には(図18(b)参照)、アシスト機構50が本シートSの回動をアシストする。
 後方回動が更に進み、当該後方回動の終了前の時点(図18(c)に示す状態)では、着座部1がアシストばね51によって格納方向へ付勢されるため、本シートSを下方(復帰方向)へ向けて押圧してストライカロック機構70のストライカロック(ラッチ72)を車体フロアD側のストライカ41にロックする。
 このとき、インターロック機構40は、図24乃至図26で示すように、シートフレームが下方に押されることにより、リアモスト位置の近傍において、ストライカ41の上方に位置することになる。そして、図24の位置からさらに下降して、インターロック42の端部の斜面部42eが、ストライカ41と当接し、図25で示すように、インターロック付勢部材44に抗し、この斜面部42eに沿って、回転軸部42aを中心に回動しながら、本シートSが下方に押される。
 最終的に本シートSを設置位置(リアモスト位置)にする(図18(d)参照)と、ストライカ41がフック部42bの端部を乗り越え、インターロック42は、図26で示すように、インターロック付勢部材44の力によって、回転軸部42aを中心に戻って、ストライカ41と係合し、ロックされる。このように、インターロック機構40のインターロック42をストライカ41にロックし、シートバック2を起立させることにより本シートSの復帰操作が完了する。
 <<他の実施形態の車両用格納シートの概要>>
 次に、本発明の他の実施形態に係る車両用格納シート(以下、本シートS’と称する)について図27~図34を参照しながら説明する。なお、上述の実施形態と共通する部分については共通の符号で示し、その説明を省略する。
 本シートS’は車体フロアD上に配置されており、図27に示すように、着座部1と、シートバック2と、ヘッドレスト3とから構成されている。また、シートバック2の上方には、本シートS’のリクライニングの解除を行うためのリクライニング解除レバー11’が配設されている点で上記の実施形態と異なる。なお、リクライニング解除の操作手段としては、本実施形態に示すレバー状の他、紐状やストラップ状として構成してもよい。
 着座フレーム4は、その底部にスライドレール24が配設されており、後述する第1のリンク機構180又は公知のシート位置調整機構を介してシートバック2の操作に連動して前後方向に移動可能に構成されている。なお、スライドレール24は、着座部1側に配設されるアッパーレール22と、着座部1側とは反対側に取り付けられるロアレール21とから構成されている。
 <本シートS’に設けられた機構>
 本シートS’には、リクライニング機構(不図示)と、シートスライド機構120と、スライドロック機構130と、インターロック機構(不図示)と、アシスト機構150と、ストライカロック機構170とが設けられている。
 以下、本シートS’に設けられた機構のうち、シートスライド機構120、スライドロック機構130、アシスト機構150、及び、ストライカロック機構170について概説する。
 <シートスライド機構120>
 シートスライド機構120は、本シートS’の折り畳み操作と連動して本シートS’を後方にスライド移動させる。シートスライド機構120の主な部材は、第1のリンク機構180と不図示の変換機構の2つに分かれている。第1のリンク機構180は、シートバックフレーム5側に設けられ、変換機構は、着座フレーム4側に設けられている。
 第1のリンク機構180の構成部材の一(以下、リンク部材)は、ワイヤケーブルWによって、変換機構を介してスライドレール24に連結されており、本シートS’の折り畳み操作に連動してワイヤケーブルWを引っ張るように作動する。変換機構は、第1のリンク機構180のリンク部材によるワイヤケーブルWの引っ張り動作を本シートS’のスライド移動動作に変換する。すなわち、リンク部材がワイヤケーブルWを引っ張ると、変換機構がワイヤケーブルWの引っ張り方向を変えることにより、当該ワイヤケーブルWに接続されたスライドレール24が引っ張られるようになる。
 以上の構成のシートスライド機構120において、本シートS’の折り畳み操作が行われると、当該操作に連動して第1のリンク機構180中のリンク部材がワイヤケーブルWを引っ張るようになる。このワイヤケーブルWの引っ張り動作は変換機構を介してスライドレール24に伝達されてスライドレール24が引っ張られるようになる結果、最終的に本シートS’が後方にスライド移動するようになる。
 <スライドロック機構130>
 本実施形態のスライドロック機構130は、シートスライド機構120のスライドロックを適宜解除する。スライドロック機構130を駆動させる部材は、上述の第1のリンク機構180とレール側機構160の2つに分かれており、レール側機構160はスライドレール24側に設けられている。これらの機構は、ワイヤケーブルWを介して連結されており、シートスライド機構120によって本シートS’がスライド移動するタイミングに合わせてスライドレール24のロックを解除するように構成されている。
 具体的に説明すると、シートバックフレーム5側の第1のリンク機構180を構成する部材(以下、他のリンク部材)が、ワイヤケーブルWによってスライドレール24のアッパーレール22に設けられた係合部材(不図示)と連結しており、本シートS’の折り畳み操作が行われると当該操作に連動してワイヤケーブルWを引っ張るように作動する。
 レール側機構160は、上記の他のリンク部材とワイヤケーブルWを介して連結したアッパーレール22側の係合部材と、ロアレール21側に設けられた係合部材(不図示)とを有している。これらの係合部材が係合している状態にあるときに、ワイヤケーブルWが第1のリンク機構180側に引っ張られると、係合部材間の係合状態が解除されるようになる。
 以上のような構成のスライドロック機構130において、本シートS’の折り畳み操作が行われると、当該操作に連動して第1のリンク機構180中の他のリンク部材がワイヤケーブルWを引っ張るように作動する。このワイヤケーブルWの引っ張り動作に伴って、アッパーレール22側の係合部材とロアレール21側の係合部材との間の係合状態が解除され、本シートS’のスライド移動が可能になる。
 <アシスト機構150>
 本実施形態のアシスト機構150は、本シートS’の格納操作や復帰操作をアシストする。具体的に説明すると、アシスト機構150は、互いに略同じ大きさ、略同じばね定数で形成された複数のアシストばね151を有し、当該複数のアシストばね151の中には、本シートS’の復帰操作時に本シートS’を復帰方向に付勢するものと、本シートS’の格納操作時に折り畳み方向(格納方向)に付勢するものが存在する。
 一方、本シートS’側には、アシストばね151と接触する位置に、アシストばね151の付勢力を受ける被付勢部(不図示)が設けられている。この被付勢部のアシストばね151との接触面は、本シートS’の状態(格納状態又は設置状態)に応じて切り替わる。これにより、複数のアシストばね151のうち、被付勢部を付勢するアシストばね151が本シートS’の状態によって切り替わることとなる。
 以上の構成のアシスト機構150において、本シートS’が格納状態にあるとき、本シートS’を復帰する方向に付勢するアシストばね151が被付勢部を付勢する。この結果、不図示のロック機構によって本シートS’の回動がロックされた状態を脱すると、本シートS’へ復帰方向に回動させるアシストばね151の付勢力が働く。これにより、本シートS’が復帰方向に跳ね上がるため、少ない力で本シートS’を復帰させることが可能となる。
 一方、本シートS’が設置状態にあるとき、本シートS’を折り畳み方向に付勢するアシストばね151が被付勢部を付勢する。この結果、後述のストライカロック機構170によって本シートS’が車体フロアDに対してロックされた状態を脱すると、本シートS’へ折り畳み方向に回動させるアシストばね151の付勢力が働く。これにより、本シートS’が折り畳み方向に跳ね上がるため、少ない力で本シートS’を格納することが可能になる。
 <ストライカロック機構170>
 本実施形態のストライカロック機構170は、シートバックフレーム5側に設けられた第2のリンク機構190と、着座フレーム4側に設けられたストライカロック(ラッチ72)とを主たる構成要素として有し、これらはワイヤケーブルWによって連結されている。
 第2のリンク機構190は、本シートS’を折り畳むときにワイヤケーブルWの一端部を引っ張るように作動する。ワイヤケーブルWの他端部は、着座フレーム4側に備えられた鉤状のストライカロック(ラッチ72)に取り付けられている。このストライカロック(ラッチ72)は、車体フロアDのストライカ41に係止され、ワイヤケーブルWの一端部が引っ張られることによりストライカ41との係止状態を解除するように作動する。
 なお、ストライカロック(ラッチ72)とストライカ41との係止状態が解除されると、着座部1は、アシスト機構150のみに支持されるようになるため前後方向に回動可能な状態となる。
 <本シートの折り畳み角度と各機構の連動>
 以下に、本シートS’の折り畳み角度と各機構の連動について、図29に基づいて説明する。
 まず、本シートS’の起立状態(角度I)でリクライニング解除レバー11’が操作されることにより、リクライニング機構の係止が解除され、リクライニング調整範囲内(角度I’~II’)でリクライニング角度の調整が可能となる。リクライニング解除レバー11’を操作しながら、更にシートバック2を前側に倒すと、角度III’でスライドロック機構130が作動し、スライドロックが解除されて本シートS’のスライド移動が可能となる。
 角度III’~IV’の範囲で、シートスライド機構120が作動して本シートS’を後方へスライドさせる。そして、角度IV’位置までシートバック2を倒したときにスライドロック機構130によって再びスライドがロックされる。更にシートバック2を倒して角度V’に達したときに、ストライカロック(ラッチ72)とストライカ41との係合状態が解除されて本シートS’の前方回動が可能となる。このとき、本シートS’のアシスト機構150によって本シートS’が格納方向に向かうようにアシストされる。本シートS’を前方回動させながら更に折り畳むと、角度VI’に達したときに公知の係止手段によって、着座部1に対するシートバック2の回動がロックされる。
 以上のように、本実施形態では、リクライニング解除レバー11’を操作する1回の操作により、本シートS’の折り畳み、スライドロックの解除、本シートS’の最後方位置へのスライド、スライド再ロック、ストライカロック(ラッチ72)とストライカ41との係合状態の解除、本シートS’の格納方向への回動のアシスト、の各操作を本シートS’の折り畳み角度に応じて順番に連動させることが可能である。
 <着座フレーム4の概略構造>
 次に、本実施形態の特徴的な要素である着座フレーム4の概略構造について、図28及び図30、図31、図33(a)、図33(b)に基づいて説明する。
 着座フレーム4は、図28及び図30に示すように、その幅方向の両側部にそれぞれ設けられた側部ブラケット8、側部ブラケット8間を連結する連結部材7、及び、着座フレーム4の底部を規定する底部プレート6を有する。
 各々の側部ブラケット8は、図31に示すように、正面視略U字状であり、構成要素として、外壁8a、内壁8b及び底壁8cを有している。
 外壁8aは、図30に示すように、クッション材載置部としてのフランジ部8dと、該フランジ部8dと交差した交差部8fとを有している。
 フランジ部8dは、側部ブラケット8において最も上側に位置し、車両の進行方向に沿って略水平状に延出している。なお、フランジ部8dの上面には、クッションパッドPが載置される。交差部8fは、フランジ部8dの下側でフランジ部8dと隣接しており、フランジ部8dに対して略直交した状態で車両の進行方向に沿って延出している。
 底壁8cは、側部ブラケット8の中で底部に相当する部分であり、外壁8aの交差部8fの下部に隣接し、該交差部8fに対して略直交した状態で(すなわち、略水平状に)車両の進行方向に沿って延出している。
 内壁8bは、側部ブラケット8の前端部にて外壁8aと対向するように設けられた部分であり、第2のフランジ部8gと、第2のフランジ部8gと交差した第2の交差部8hとを有している。
 第2のフランジ部8gは、外壁8aのフランジ部8dと同様、側部ブラケット8において最も上側に位置して、車両の進行方向に沿って略水平状に延出し、その上面にはクッションパッドPが載置される。第2の交差部8hは、第2のフランジ部8gと交差し(つまり、外壁8aのフランジ部8dとも交差することになる)、外壁8aの交差部8fが位置する側とは反対側の位置にて底壁8cと隣接する。なお、第2の交差部8hも、交差部8fと同様、車両の進行方向に沿って延出している。
 <ワイヤケーブルWの配索>
 本シートS’に設けられた各機構(例えば、スライドロック機構130やストライカロック機構170)ではワイヤケーブルWが動力伝達要素として用いられている。このワイヤケーブルWは、上述のように、各機構の構成要素間を連結するように配索されている。ワイヤケーブルWの配索については、本シートS’が折り畳まれ又はスライド移動する際にワイヤケーブルWが絡まらないように適当な配索経路にて行われる必要がある。
 本実施形態では、ワイヤケーブルWを適切に配索するための構造が採用されており、以下では、ワイヤケーブルWを配索するための構造、及び、当該構造によるワイヤケーブルWの配索パターンについて、図30~図34を参照しながら説明する。
 ワイヤケーブルWの配索に関して説明するにあたり、本実施形態において用いられるワイヤケーブルWの形状等について説明する。ワイヤケーブルWは、インナワイヤと、インナワイヤを内側に通して案内する管状の樹脂ケーブルと、から構成されており、樹脂ケーブルの端部には係止するためのブラケットが取り付けられている。また、本実施形態において、樹脂ケーブルの外径(ワイヤケーブルWの外径と同義)は約5mmである。
 以上の構造のワイヤケーブルWは、その一端部が所定の取り付け箇所に取り付けられた状態で、シートフレームFの外側に引き出された後にシートフレームFの外縁に沿って引き回される。特に、本実施形態では、着座フレーム4に設けられた側部ブラケット8の外壁8aに沿って当該外壁8aの前端部まで引き回される。
 さらに、本実施形態では、ワイヤケーブルWを用いている機構が複数存在するため、ワイヤケーブルWも複数存在し、複数のワイヤケーブルWは纏まった状態で外壁8aに沿って引き回されることになる(図33(a)、図33(b)参照)。
 なお、外壁8aの外表面には棒状部材8iが取り付けられている。この棒状部材8iは、前後側にL字型の屈曲部8jと、屈曲部8j間を連結する連結部8kを有する。このような構造の棒状部材8iが外壁8aの外表面に設けられているため、外壁8aに沿って引き回されるワイヤケーブルWを上記の屈曲部8jの内側を通すことにより、複数のワイヤケーブルWを束ねて、ワイヤケーブルW中、外壁8aに沿って引き回されている部分を整理することが可能になる。
 側部ブラケット8の外壁8aに沿って引き回された複数のワイヤケーブルWは、それぞれ、着座フレーム4の側方から着座フレーム4の内側(2つの側部ブラケット8に挟まれている空間内)に引き込まれる。
 そして、本実施形態において、各ワイヤケーブルWは、外壁8aの交差部8fに形成された孔(以下、ケーブル孔100)に挿通されることによって着座フレーム4の内側に向けて引き込まれる。さらに、ケーブル孔100に挿通された各ワイヤケーブルWは、内壁8bの第2の交差部8hに形成された第2の孔(以下、第2のケーブル孔110)に挿通される。
 以上のように、本実施形態では、各ワイヤケーブルWを着座フレーム4の側方から引き込む際にケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110に通す。これにより、各ワイヤケーブルWを整理した状態で配索することが可能になる。
 なお、本実施形態では本シートS’が折り畳まれ又はスライド移動するため、これらの動作に伴ってワイヤケーブルWも移動することになる。その際に、ワイヤケーブルWが整理されているため、ワイヤケーブルWが移動時に絡まるのを防止することが可能になる。
 さらに、ワイヤケーブルWを通すケーブル孔100や第2のケーブル孔110は、側部ブラケット8においてフランジ部8dや第2のフランジ部8gではなく、これらの下部に位置する交差部8fや第2の交差部8hに形成されている。これにより、ワイヤケーブルWに対して負荷が掛からないようにワイヤケーブルWを配索することが可能になる。
 すなわち、発明が解決しようとする課題の項で説明したように、仮に、ワイヤケーブルWを着座フレーム4の側方から引き込む際にフランジ部8dや第2のフランジ部8gの上に載せてしまうと、フランジ部8dや第2のフランジ部8gとクッションパッドPとの間にワイヤケーブルWが挟まれる形になる。この場合、乗員が本シートS’に着座する時やシート上に載る時にワイヤケーブルWに直接的に負荷が掛かり、ワイヤケーブルWの損傷や変形を招く虞がある。
 これに対して、本実施形態では、フランジ部8dや第2のフランジ部8gの下部に位置する交差部8fや第2の交差部8hにワイヤケーブルWを通すための孔(ケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110)が形成されている。そして、ワイヤケーブルWを着座フレーム4の側方から引き込む際には、上記の孔にワイヤケーブルWを通すこととしている。したがって、フランジ部8dや第2のフランジ部8gとクッションパッドPとの間にワイヤケーブルWが挟まれてしまうことはなく、ワイヤケーブルWに対して直接負荷が掛かることもなくなる。
 以上の効果は、シートバック2の回動により折り畳み可能な構成を有する本シートS’において、特に有意義なものとなる。つまり、折り畳んでシートバック2の裏面に人や物を載せることが可能なシートにおいて、フランジ部8dや第2のフランジ部8gとクッションパッドPとの間にワイヤケーブルWが挟まれてしまうと、ワイヤケーブルWに負荷が掛かる頻度も多くなる。したがって、折り畳み可能なシートであれば、ケーブル孔100や第2のケーブル孔110にワイヤケーブルWを通してフランジ部8dや第2のフランジ部8gとクッションパッドPとの間にワイヤケーブルWが挟まれるのを回避するという効果が、より有効に奏されることとなる。
 次に、本実施形態に係るケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110について、図32~図34を参照しながら説明する。なお、ケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110の各々の形状については、略同様であるため、主としてケーブル孔100の形状について説明する。
 ケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110は、いずれも、長孔となっている。すなわち、ケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110は、いずれも十分な幅を有しているので、ケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110には複数のワイヤケーブルWを挿通させることが可能となる。なお、長孔たるケーブル孔100の長手方向は、交差部8fの延出方向に沿っており、長孔たる第2のケーブル孔110の長手方向は、第2の交差部8hの延出方向に沿っている。
 長孔たるケーブル孔100は、円孔部100aと、当該円孔部100aと隣接するスリット部100bとから構成されている。円孔部100aは、長孔の長手方向における端部に位置し、ワイヤケーブルWの外径よりも幾分大きい内径を有する。各ワイヤケーブルWは、この円孔部100aを通じてケーブル孔100に挿通される。すなわち、円孔部100aは、ケーブル通し用の孔であり、この円孔部100aが設けられていることにより、各ワイヤケーブルWをケーブル孔100に通すことが容易になる。
 スリット部100bは、円孔部100aと隣接し、長孔の長手方向に沿って延びている。このスリット100bについて、上記長手方向と交差する交差方向の幅(以下、スリット幅)は、円孔部100aの内径よりも小さく、かつ、ワイヤケーブルWの外径(本実施形態では約5mm)よりも僅かに大きくなっており、本実施形態では約6mmである。
 各ワイヤケーブルWは、円孔部100aに通された後に、スリット部100bを通るように位置をずらされ、スリット部100bの上側及び下側に位置する部分に挟まれるようになる。この結果、各ワイヤケーブルWは、スリット部100bに沿う方向には移動自在であり、スリット部100bの幅方向(上下方向)の動きが規制される。このため、本シートS’の折り畳みやスライド移動に伴ってワイヤケーブルWが移動する際、本シートS’の動作の邪魔にならないようにワイヤケーブルWをスリット部100bに沿って移動させる一方で、当該ワイヤケーブルWの上下方向のバタツキが抑えられるようになる。
 
 以上のような構成は、第2のケーブル孔110(円孔部110a,スリット部110b)についても同様である。なお、本実施形態では、ケーブル孔100側の円孔部100aは、長孔の長手方向において前端部に位置し、第2のケーブル孔110側の円孔部110aは、長孔の長手方向におい後端部に位置しており、上記2つの円孔部100a、110aは、互いに対向する位置に位置している(図30参照)。かかる構成により、各ワイヤケーブルWをケーブル孔100に通し、さらに第2のケーブル孔110に通すことが容易となる。
 さらに、本実施形態では、交差部8fの延出方向におけるケーブル孔100の形成位置と、第2の交差部8hの延出方向における第2のケーブル孔110の形成位置とが、車両の進行方向において互いに異なる位置である。すなわち、ケーブル孔100の形成位置と第2のケーブル孔110の形成位置とは、車両の進行方向においてずれた位置にある。これにより、本シートS’をスライド移動させる際のワイヤケーブルWの可動範囲を十分に確保することが可能になる。
 具体的に説明すると、ワイヤケーブルWは、本シートS’の折り畳みやスライド移動に伴って移動するが、このときケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110の形成範囲内で移動する。すなわち、ケーブル孔100及び第2のケーブル孔110の長手方向における長さが、ワイヤケーブルWの可動範囲となる。ここで、ワイヤケーブルWの全可動範囲は、各ケーブル孔100、110の形成範囲を重ね合わせた範囲となるので、ケーブル孔100の形成位置と第2のケーブル孔110の形成位置がずれていれば、より可動範囲が広がることになる。このようにワイヤケーブルWの可動範囲を確保することにより、本シートS’の動作を邪魔することなく、ワイヤケーブルWをスムーズに移動させることが可能になる。
 

Claims (21)

  1.  着座フレームとシートバックフレームとが折り畳まれた状態で跳ね上げられることにより車体フロアに格納される車両用格納シートに備えられるシートフレームであって、
     前記シートバックフレームを前記着座フレームに対して傾動可能に支持するリクライニング機構と、
     前記着座フレームを前後方向にスライドさせるシートスライド機構と、
     前記リクライニング機構と連動して前記シートスライド機構の動作を禁止または許容するスライドロック機構と、
     前記着座フレームの後部を前記車体フロアに係止すると共に前記車両用格納シートの回動を規制するストライカロック機構と、
     前記車両用格納シートの格納操作及び復帰操作を補助するアシスト機構と、を備え、
     前記シートスライド機構は、車体の前後方向に延在するロアレールと、該ロアレールに対し摺動可能に係合するアッパーレールと、前記車両用格納シートの格納時に前記シートバックフレームが前記リクライニング機構によって所定角度まで傾斜する動きに連動して前記アッパーレールを自動的に摺動させるスライド付勢部材と、を有し、
     前記シートスライド機構と、前記スライドロック機構とは、前記着座フレームに取り付けられてなることを特徴とするシートフレーム。
  2.  前記ストライカロック機構とは別に設けられ、前記シートフレームの跳ね上がりを規制するインターロック機構をさらに備え、
     前記スライド付勢部材の一端は、前記インターロック機構に係止されてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシートフレーム。
  3.  前記着座フレームと前記シートバックフレームとの角度を調整するリンク機構をさらに備え、
     前記リンク機構は、前記アッパーレールの摺動動作中、前記シートバックフレームの傾斜角度を保持することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のシートフレーム。
  4.  前記シートバックフレームは、前記着座フレームに対して回動可能に取り付けられ、
     前記シートバックフレームの回動方向において前記着座フレーム側に折り畳む方向を第1方向、該第1方向と反対の向きを第2方向とするとき、
     前記第1方向に前記シートバックフレームを付勢する第1付勢部材と、
     該第1付勢部材が前記シートバックフレームを付勢する際に係合し、前記シートバックフレームに取り付けられた第1係合部材と、
     前記第2方向に前記シートバックフレームを付勢する第2付勢部材と、
     該第2付勢部材が前記シートバックフレームを付勢する際に係合し、前記シートバックフレームに取り付けられた第2係合部材と、を備え、
     前記シートバックフレームが前記第1方向に回動して手動操作範囲に到達するまでの間は、前記第1付勢部材は、前記第1係合部材に係合した状態で前記シートバックフレームを前記第1方向に付勢し、
     前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲に到達すると、前記第1付勢部材と前記第1係合部材との係合状態が解除されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  5.  前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲にある状態において、前記第2付勢部材が前記第2係合部材と係合した状態で前記シートバックフレームを前記第2方向に付勢することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシートフレーム。
  6.  前記第1付勢部材と前記第1係合部材との係合状態が解除される前に第2付勢部材が第2係合部材に係合することを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載のシートフレーム。
  7.  前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲に到達するまでの間は、前記第2付勢部材は、前記着座フレームに備えられた係止部に係合して前記シートバックフレームを前記第2方向へ付勢する状態が解除され、
     前記シートバックフレームが前記手動操作範囲にある状態において、前記第1付勢部材は、前記着座フレームに備えられたストッパ部に係合して前記シートバックフレームを前記第1方向へ付勢する状態が解除されることを特徴とする請求項4乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  8.  前記第1付勢部材及び前記第2付勢部材は、螺旋状に巻回されたばねによって構成され、
     前記第1付勢部材を構成するばねの巻回方向は、前記第2付勢部材を構成するばねの巻回方向と反対方向に形成され、
     前記第1付勢部材を構成するばねの直径は、前記第2付勢部材を構成するばねの直径よりも大きく形成され、
     前記第1付勢部材を構成するばねの巻数は、前記第2付勢部材を構成するばねの巻数よりも多く形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項4乃至7のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  9.  前記第1係合部材は、前記スライドロック機構と連動することを特徴とする請求項4乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  10.  前記第2付勢部材は、前記着座フレームの内側に配設されてなることを特徴とする請求項4乃至9のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  11.  前記ストライカロック機構とは別に設けられ、前記シートフレームの跳ね上がりを規制するインターロック機構をさらに備え、
     前記スライドロック機構は、前記シートスライド機構によるロアレールに移動可能に設けられたアッパーレールの移動をロックするスライドロックを設定又は解除し、
     前記ストライカロック機構は、前記シートスライド機構の前記ロアレールの後部を前記車体フロアに係止すると共にシートフレームの回動を規制し、
     前記インターロック機構は、前記シートフレームを車体側に固定すると共に前記シートフレームが格納準備位置のときに作動し、前記シートフレームを車体側から解除する機構を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  12.  前記シートフレームを前記車体側に固定し、前記シートフレームが前記格納準備位置で作動し、前記シートフレームを前記車体側から解除する前記インターロック機構は、
     前記シートフレーム側に回動可能に設けられたインターロックと、
     該インターロックを前記車体に設けられたストライカ側へ付勢するインターロック付勢部材と、
     前記インターロックを押圧する押圧部材と、を有し、
     前記インターロックは、前記格納準備位置において、前記車体側に設けられた前記ストライカと係脱可能に構成されてなることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシートフレーム。
  13.  前記インターロックは、前記押圧部材によって押圧されて前記インターロック付勢手段に抗して、
     前記シートフレームの前記格納準備位置で前記ストライカから離脱することを特徴とする請求項12に記載のシートフレーム。
  14.  前記インターロック機構は、前記シートフレームと前記ストライカロック機構との間に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項11乃至13のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  15.  前記着座フレームは、
     その上面にクッション材が載置されるクッション材載置部と、
     該クッション材載置部の下部に設けられ、該クッション材載置部と交差した交差部と、を側部に有し、
     前記交差部には、前記着座フレームの側方から引き込まれるケーブルを通すための孔が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  16.  前記交差部の下部と隣接し、前記交差部と交差する底部と、
     前記交差部が位置する側とは反対側にて前記底部と隣接する第2の交差部と、を有し、
     該第2の交差部には、前記着座フレームの側方から引き込まれて前記孔に通された前記ケーブルを通すための第2の孔が形成されており、
     前記孔及び前記第2の孔は、いずれも長孔であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のシートフレーム。
  17.  前記車両用格納シートが移動方向に移動可能であるときに、
     前記交差部及び前記第2の交差部は、前記移動方向に沿って延出しており、
     前記交差部の延出方向における前記孔の形成位置と、前記第2の交差部の延出方向における前記第2の孔の形成位置とは、前記移動方向において互いに異なる位置であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のシートフレーム。
  18.  前記長孔の長手方向における端部に位置し、前記ケーブルの外径よりも大きい内径を有する円孔部と、
     該円孔部と隣接し、前記長手方向に沿って延びたスリット部と、が前記孔及び前記第2の孔にそれぞれ備えられ、
     前記長手方向と交差する交差方向における前記スリット部の幅は、前記円孔部の内径よりも小さく、かつ、前記ケーブルの外径よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のシートフレーム。
  19.  前記孔には、前記着座フレームの側方から引き込まれた複数の前記ケーブルが通されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至18のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  20.  前記車両用格納シートは、
     前記着座フレームと、該着座フレームに対して回動可能なシートバックフレームとを備え、かつ、該シートバックフレームの回動により折り畳み可能に形成され、
     前記着座フレームは、前記クッション材を支えることを特徴とする請求項15乃至19のいずれか一項に記載のシートフレーム。
  21.  シートフレームと、該シートフレーム上に載置されるクッション材と、これらを被覆する表皮材とを少なくとも備えた車両用格納シートであって、
     前記シートフレームは、請求項1乃至20のいずれか一項に記載されたシートフレームを用いることを特徴とする車両用格納シート。
