Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Solarmodul (1) mit einer oder mehreren Solarzellen (4), die parallel zur Moduloberfläche (1') zwischen einer transparenten Frontscheibe (2) und einem Basiselement (3) angeordnet sind, wobei die Frontscheibe (2) und das Basiselement (3) aus Glas bestehen und an deren Randbereichen (5, 6) zueinander abgedichtet sind. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Randbereiche (5, 6) der Frontscheibe (2) und des Basiselements (3) zu einem im Wesentlichen rechtwinkelig von der Modulrückseite abstehenden Falz (7) umgebogen oder abgewinkelt und bilden einen mit einer Dicht- oder Vergussmasse (9) verfüllten Spalt (8) zueinander.
