Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Ölpumpe (1) in einem Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Gehäuse (2) einem darin angeordneten Elektromotor (3), welcher eine ebenfalls in dem Gehäuse (2) angeordnete Pumpstufe (6) antreibt. Die Ölpumpe (1) ist eine Kreiselpumpe vom Axialtyp.

Beschreibung
Ölpumpe
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Ölpumpe in einem Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Gehäuse einem darin angeordneten Elektromotor, welcher eine ebenfalls in dem Gehäuse angeordnete Pumpstufe antreibt .
Derartige Ölpumpen sind bekannt und somit Stand der Technik. Die bekannten Ölpumpen sind Verdrängerpumpen mit entsprechend hoher Leistung und Volumenstrom. Es ist weiter bekannt Ölpumpen im Getrieben eingesetzt, um den Ölkreislauf des Getriebes anzutreiben. Bei Getrieben ist bekannt, dass die Zahnräder in den Ölsumpf eintauchen, was im Betrieb zu Panschverlusten führt. Zur Reduzierung der Panschverluste wird im Betrieb der Ölpegel im Ölsumpf abgesenkt, indem die Ölpumpe das Öl ab¬ saugt und auf ein höheres Niveau im Getriebe fördert, wobei ein Volumenstrom mit einer vergleichsweise geringen Druckerhöhung zu bewältigen ist. Problematisch hierbei ist, dass die bekannten Verdrängerpumpen aufgrund ihrer hohen Leistungsaufnahme für diese Aufgabe überdimensioniert und somit ineffek¬ tiv sind. Hinzu kommt, dass bei tiefen Temperaturen, bei de¬ nen die Viskosität des Öls stark zunimmt, der Wirkungsgrad einer Verdrängerpumpe weiter abnimmt.
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Ölpumpe in einem Kraftfahrzeug zu schaffen, die einen gewissen Volumenstrom mit einer vergleichsweise geringen Druckerhöhung mit einem guten Wirkungsgrad fördert. Die Ölpumpe soll zudem in der Lage sein, das Öl unabhängig von seiner momentanen Viskosität effektiv zu fördern.
Gelöst wird die Aufgabe dadurch, dass die Ölpumpe eine Krei¬ selpumpe vom Axialtyp ist. Die Verwendung einer Axialkreiselpumpe als Ölpumpe ermöglicht den Einsatz einer Pumpe mit geringerer Leistungsaufnahme, und somit einer an die Förderaufgäbe angepassten Pumpe. Bei der Auslegung des Schaufelrades der Pumpe hat sich ge¬ zeigt, dass die Kreiselpumpe bei einer ingenieurmäßigen Aus¬ legung nicht in allen Betriebssituationen ausreichend arbeitet. Insbesondere bei niedrigen Temperaturen steigen aufgrund der hohen Viskosität des Öls die Reibungsverluste stark an. Abweichend von der herkömmlichen Auslegung ist gemäß einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung ein Pumpenrad mit einer reduzierten Anzahl von Schaufeln vorgesehen. Die Schaufeln sind so ausgebildet, dass sich zwischen zwei benachbarten Schaufeln am Umfang der Schaufelradnabe ein freier Bereich bildet, in dem das zu fördernde Fluid frei durchtreten kann. Diese Aus¬ bildung bewirkt eine geringere Förderleistung, weshalb eine derartige Schaufelradgestaltung bislang nicht ausgeführt wird. Aufgrund der reduzierten Schaufelzahl und der freien Bereiche kommt das Öl nur im geringen Maße mit den Schaufeln in Kontakt. Das hat zur Folge, dass bei niedrigen Temperatu¬ ren, bei denen das Öl eine hohe Viskosität besitzt, wesent¬ lich geringere Reibungsverluste auftreten als dies bei einem herkömmlich ausgelegten Schaufelrad der Fall wäre. Da die Öl¬ pumpe lediglich eine geringe Förderleistung bewerkstelligen muss, ist der Nachteil der geringeren Förderleistung gegenüber dem Vorteil, welcher durch die Verringerung der Reibungsverluste entsteht, vernachlässigbar.
Besonders geringe Reibungsverluste bei niedrigen Temperaturen und ausreichender Förderleistung wird mit einer Ölpumpe erreicht, bei der die freien Bereiche am Nabenumfang des Schau¬ felrades zwischen zwei Schaufeln insgesamt 25 % - 70 % des Nabenumfangs , vorzugsweise 30 % - 50 % und insbesondere 38 % - 40 %, betragen.
Um Öl bei tiefen Temperaturen mit geringen Reibungsverlusten zu fördern, hat es sich zudem als vorteilhaft herausgestellt, dass die freien Bereiche jeweils eine gewisse Mindestlänge besitzen müssen. Aus diesem Grund sollte das Schaufelrad min¬ destens zwei Schaufeln und nicht mehr als vier Schaufeln besitzen.
Um dennoch eine ausreichende Förderleistung zu erzielen, ist die Länge der Schaufeln, bezogen auf die Drehrichtung, größer oder gleich ihrer radialen Breite. In einer weiteren Ausgestaltung ist die radiale Breite der Schaufeln über ihre Länge konstant. Damit lässt sich das Schaufelrad in eine Förderöffnung oder einen Förderkanal anordnen, wobei die Innenkontur der Öffnung oder des Kanals geringfügig größer als das Schaufelrad ist. Da sich auf diese Weise zwischen der Innenkontur und den Schaufeln nur ein geringer Spalt ausbildet, wird die Förderleistung weiter verbessert .
Die Enden der Schaufeln können zur Verbesserung des Strö- mungsverhaltens verschieden ausgebildet sein. So hat es sich als vorteilhaft herausgestellt, wenn die in Drehrichtung wei¬ senden Enden der Schaufeln einen Radius aufweisen, dessen Zentrum bezogen auf die radiale Breite der Schaufel in der Schaufel angeordnet ist.
Die entgegen der Drehrichtung weisenden Enden der Schaufeln können ebenfalls abgerundet sein. Es ist aber auch denkbar diese Enden geradlinig oder gebogen auszubilden. Bei einer geradlinigen Ausbildung kann die Kante radial oder in einem von der Radialen abweichenden Winkel angeordnet sein. Bei einer bogenförmigen Kante kann der Bogen konkav oder konvex sein .
An einem Ausführungsbeispiel wird die Erfindung näher erläu- tert. Es zeigen in: Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer erfindungs- gemäßen Ölpumpe,
Fig. 2 das Schaufelrad der Ölpumpe nach Fig. 1 in einer
Draufsicht und
Fig. 3 das Schaufelrad nach Fig. 1 in einer Seitenansicht.
Die Ölpumpe 1 besitzt ein Gehäuse 2 in dem ein Elektromotor 3 angeordnet ist. Das Gehäuse 2 weist einen Flansch 4 auf, über den die Ölpumpe 1 am nicht dargestellten Getriebe befestigt ist. Der Elektromotor 3 treibt eine Welle 5 an, die sich im Innern des Getriebes befindet. An dem Ende der Welle 5, wel¬ ches dem Elektromotor 3 abgewandt ist, ist ein Schaufelrad 6 befestigt. Das Schaufelrad 6 ist von einem rohrförmigen Au¬ ßenring 19 umgeben, dessen Innendurchmesser so groß ist, dass sich zwischen der Innenkontur und den Schaufeln 12, 13 ein geringer Spalt befindet, der eine ungehinderte Rotation des Schaufelrades 6 ermöglicht. Zur Verbesserung des Strömungs- Verhaltens kann der Außenring 19 eine Einlaufdüse 20 aufwei¬ sen. Das Schaufelrad 6 befindet sich in einer Bohrung 7 einer Trennwand 8 des Getriebes, wobei die Trennwand 8 zwei Kammern 9, 10 des Getriebes trennt. Beim Betreiben der Ölpumpe 1 wird das in der Kammer 9 befindliche Öl angesaugt und in die Kam- mer 10 gefördert.
Figur 2 und 3 zeigen das Schaufelrad 6 mit seiner Nabe 11. Am Umfang der Nabe 11 sind zwei Schaufeln 12, 13 mit Abstand zu¬ einander derart angeordnet, dass zwischen den beiden Schau- fein jeweils freie Bereiche 14, 15 vorhanden sind, in denen sich die Schaufeln 12, 13 nicht überdecken. Durch diese freien Bereiche 14, 15 hat das Öl die Möglichkeit durch das
Schaufelrad durchzutreten, so dass der Kontakt der Schaufeln 12, 13 mit dem Öl minimiert wird, was zu einer Reduzierung der Reibungsverluste führt. Die Schaufeln 12, 13 umschlingen den Nabe 11 an ihrem Umfang in einem Winkelbereich von jeweils 110°, so dass die freien Bereiche 14, 15 einen Winkel- bereich von jeweils 70° umfassen und insgesamt 39 % des Na- benumfangs betragen. Die Schaufeln 12, 13 sind an ihrem in Drehrichtung weisenden Ende 16 abgerundet, während das gegenüberliegende Ende 17 eine geradlinige Kante 18 besitzt, wel- che entgegen der Drehrichtung geneigt ist. Die radiale Brei¬ te b der Schaufeln 12, 13 ist über die Länge der Schaufeln 12, 13 konstant.

Claims

Ölpumpe in einem Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Gehäuse einem darin angeordneten Elektromotor, welcher eine ebenfalls in dem Gehäuse angeordnete Pumpstufe antreibt, d a ¬ d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , dass Ölpumpe (1) eine Kreiselpumpe vom Axialtyp ist.
Ölpumpe nach Anspruch 1, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , dass die Schaufeln (12, 13) des Schau¬ felrades (6) so ausgebildet, dass zwischen zwei benach¬ barten Schaufeln (12, 13) am Umfang der Schaufelradnabe (11) ein freier Bereich (14, 15) ausgebildet ist.
Ölpumpe nach Anspruch 2, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , dass die freien Bereiche (14, 15) am Nabenumfang des Schaufelrades (6) zwischen zwei Schau¬ feln (12, 13) insgesamt 25 % - 70 % des Nabenumfangs be tragen .
Ölpumpe nach Anspruch 3, d a d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , dass die freien Bereiche (14, 15) am Nabenumfang des Schaufelrades (6) zwischen zwei Schau¬ feln (12, 13) insgesamt 30 % - 50 %, vorzugsweise 38 % 40 %, des Nabenumfangs betragen.
