Abstract

직렬 다기통 엔진의 실린더 블록이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 실린더 블록은, 실린더 보어 좌, 우 양 옆으로 형성되는 좌, 우 한 쌍의 밸런스 실 중 우측 밸런스 실 직상방에 캠실이 형성되어 그 내부로 캠축이 회전 가능하게 장치되고, 캠축의 각 캠면과 대응하는 위치의 실린더 블록 상부에는 태핏 설치를 위한 복수의 태핏홀이 상기 캠실과 수직으로 연통 형성되며, 캠실과 밸런스 실은 격벽을 통해 상호 분리 구획되는 구성을 갖고, 격벽 일측에 입구를 형성한 오일드레인관이 상기 격벽으로부터 실린더 블록 저면부로 연장 형성되는 것을 구성요지로 한다.
