Abstract

본 발명의 배기가스 정화장치는, 배기가스에 포함된 입자상 물질(Particulate Material; PM), 일산화탄소(Carbon Monoxide; CO), 탄화수소(Hydrocarbon : HC)을 저감하며, 이산화질소(Nitrogen dioxide; NO2) 함량을 높게 생성시키는 다기능성 필터(Multi-Functional Particulate Filter; MFPF)의 구성방법을 제공한다. 상기 MFPF는 배기가스 유입/배출 유로 양측에 제올라이트와 산화촉매를 동시에 코팅하여 탄화수소의 슬립을 최소화함과 동시에 고농도의 NO2를 생성하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
