Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Bespannung für eine Papiermaschine, wobei die Bespannung (10) in Form eines in Umlaufrichtung (LR) geschlossenen Endlosbands (1) ausgebildet ist, das eine erste Lage (20) und eine auf der ersten Lage angeordnete zweite Lage (30) aufweist, von denen jede von einem, oder von mehreren, in Richtung quer zur Umlaufrichtung nebeneinander angeordneten und aneinandergrenzenden folienförmigen Bändern (22, 32) gebildet ist. Die aneinandergrenzenden Seitenkanten (23, 33) zweier folienförmiger Bänder einer der beiden Lagen (20, 30) sind zwischen den Seitenkanten (33, 23) eines folienförmigen Bands der anderen der beiden Lagen (30, 20) angeordnet, und aneinandergrenzende Stirnkanten (24, 34) folienförmiger Bänder (22, 32) einer der beiden Lagen (20, 30) sind zwischen den Stirnkanten (34, 24) daran anschließender folienförmige Bänder (32, 22) der anderen der beiden Lagen (30, 20) angeordnet. Die folienförmigen Bänder (22, 32) der einen der beiden Lagen (20, 30) sind mit den folienförmigen Bändern (32, 22) der anderen der beiden Lagen (30, 20) ganzflächig verbunden.
