Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour commander ou régler la capacité filtrante d'un dispositif de filtration, en particulier un dispositif de filtration dans le circuit de préparation de matière d'une installation de fabrication de papier, le procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : introduire une suspension (16) chargée de fibres et de fines matières solides dans le dispositif de filtration, - filtrer la suspension (16), cette dernière (16) étant guidée à travers la surface filtrante (2a) du dispositif de filtration sur laquelle est formée, pour augmenter la capacité filtrante, une couche auxiliaire de filtration (18) qui est constituée de fibres et de fines matières qui ont été filtrées de la suspension (16), - détacher la couche auxiliaire de filtration (18) de la surface filtrante (2a) en dehors de la suspension (16), - évacuer le filtrat (6, 7, 8) pour l'utiliser ultérieurement dans la machine à papier, un ingrédient ou une grandeur caractéristique du filtrat (6, 7, 8) étant mesurée et la capacité filtrante étant commandée ou réglée par ajout d'une substance auxiliaire de filtration (19) dans la suspension (16) à l'entrée du filtre.
