Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour collecter des quantités accrues de pollen viable à partir des anthères d'un plant de maïs. Une chambre cyclonique présentant un orifice à vide, un orifice de collecte de pollen et un orifice de dépôt de pollen est reliée à une source de vide au niveau de l'orifice de collecte sous vide. Le vide crée un vide au niveau de l'orifice de collecte de pollen qui est passé près des anthères du plant pour aspirer dans la chambre cyclonique du pollen des anthères, pollen que les anthères ne perdraient pas naturellement. Le pollen collecté est déposé dans un réservoir relié à l'orifice de dépôt du dispositif cyclonique, ce pollen étant viable pour la pollinisation du même ou d'un autre plant.
