Abstract
L'invention concerne un sac gonflable pour un système de protection de personne d'un véhicule. Le sac gonflable présente une première couche principale (1) et une deuxième couche principale (2) qui forment une enveloppe de sac gonflable pouvant être gonflée et une couche supplémentaire (3) qui est disposée à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe sur le côté intérieur d'une des couches principales (1). Selon l'invention, les deux couches principales (1, 2) et la couche supplémentaire (3) sont reliées ensemble par au moins une couture commune (41, 411, 412) qui s'étend le long d'un bord périphérique (65) du sac gonflable étendu à plat. La couture commune (41, 411, 412) est retournée et se trouve à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe de sac gonflable, et la couche supplémentaire (3) est reliée de manière pratiquement étanche aux gaz à la couche principale (1) et est conçue de manière à être également disposée sur le côté intérieur de la couche principale (1), quand l'enveloppe de sac gonflable est complètement gonflée. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un tel sac gonflable.
