Abstract

La présente invention concerne une nouvelle utilisation d'un extrait d'Eriobotriae Folium, et plus particulièrement, une composition pour le traitement du cancer du poumon et un aliment fonctionnel contenant, comme ingrédient actif, un extrait d'Eriobotriae Folium ayant d'excellents effets prophylactiques et thérapeutiques sur le cancer du poumon. L'extrait de rhizome d'Eriobotriae Folium, selon la présente invention, élimine la prolifération des cellules cancéreuses dans le poumon et induit leur apoptose, et peut ainsi être utilisé efficacement dans la prophylaxie et le traitement du cancer du poumon.
