Abstract

본 발명은 디지털 고도모델 생성방법 및 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 디지털 표면모델과, 상기 디지털 표면모델로부터 제거될 구조물 영역에 대한 판단 정보를 포함하는 마스크 데이터를 입력받는 단계; 상기 디지털 표면모델을 다수의 세그먼트로 구분하는 단계; 상기 마스크 데이터에 기초하여 상기 구분된 다수의 세그먼트 각각을 지형 또는 구조물로 판정하는 단계; 및 상기 판정 결과에 기초하여 디지털 고도모델을 생성하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명은 디지털 표면모델을 생성하는 과정에서 지형 또는 구조물로 잘못 처리되는 영역에 대한 판정을 보완함에 따라 디지털 고도모델의 정확도를 향상시키고 나아가 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다. 또한, 디지털 고도모델의 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 프로세싱 윈도우의 크기를 지나치게 작게 할 필요가 없으므로 과도한 데이터 처리를 방지할 수 있으며 이에 따라 시스템 자원의 효율성을 향상시키고 신속한 데이터 처리를 도모할 수 있다.
