Definitions
- the object of the present invention is a textured light tile that is characterized by being formed by a base or support, on which lighting means are assembled, so as to allow a perfect distribution of light and color; and that is covered by a transparent or translucent textured and resistant to mechanical stress; whose utility is to cover surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings for decorative applications both interior and exterior, and whose characteristics allow the change of color and light intensity while maintaining the appearance of the texturized.
- German document DE20200400810U1 discloses a luminous tile comprising a tile made of a transparent material that is resistant to mechanical stress, fixed slightly on a printed circuit board by means of a separator and an adhesive, where a closed space is formed between said tile separator and the printed circuit board.
- a series of LEDs are mounted on said printed circuit board in order to be located in said enclosed space, and the electrical contacts are located on the other side of the printed circuit board; an electrical circuit is also located in said closed space to control said LEDs.
- the said electrical contacts are connected, via a cable, to a power supply.
- document ES 2 313 684 T3 describes a luminous tile characterized in that it comprises: a transparent or luminescent tile made of a material resistant to mechanical stress; a printed circuit board parallel to said tile, with a face oriented towards said tile and an opposite lower face; a separator for sealing said tile and the printed circuit board together by means of an adhesive; and a sealing layer made of a silicone type material and applied as a continuous layer, in which on said face of the plate A printed circuit that is oriented towards the tile is mounted a plurality of LEDs, as well as a diode and a resistor connected to said LEDs. On said lower face of the printed circuit board are located two electrical contacts connected by means of a welded joint to two electrical cables for an additional connection to a power supply.
- Said separator is disposed between said tile and said printed circuit board so that: an upper face of said separator is in contact with the tile and an opposite lower face of said separator is in contact with said face of the plate of printed circuit that is oriented towards said tile, thus forming a tight space between said tile, the printed circuit board and the separator where said LEDs, the diode and the resistance are located.
- the side surfaces of the separator and the printed circuit board are removed from the peripheral edge of the tile, and the sealing layer is applied around said side surfaces of the separator and the printed circuit board to said peripheral edge of the tile. , so that the entire tile assembly is sealed on the side and back.
- the textured light tile advocated by the present invention comprises a support or base, made of any type of metallic or plastic material, whose inner surface is preferably white, although it can adopt any other color or hue sufficiently reflective of the light.
- On said base or support electronic lighting means are placed, distributed on its surface of a uniform shape; and where said support and said electronic means are covered by a third transparent or translucent textured surface and configured to resist different mechanical stresses.
- this tile is based on changing the intensity of the light and the color of the lighting means included in the tile itself, which in turn allows us to modify the exterior appearance of the tile.
- a LED strip or the like we can modify the exterior appearance, thereby giving a feeling of completely different tile, within the range of texture in which the tile is found, such as wood, stone, sand, or others.
- the recommended tile distinguishes two types of connections, these types being that of an individual tile or a set of tiles that make up a larger surface.
- connection system is for an insulated tile
- the connection will be made by means of a power supply, which will allow us to connect a LED strip, attached to a means of regulation, in the preferred embodiment, a multiplexer, which will allow us to control the color and intensity of the light, and finally, the LED strip is connected at one end to the multiplexer, through a tight connector at one end, leaving the remaining end free.
- connection system when the connection system is for a set of tiles, the connection will be made through a higher power supply, using signal amplifiers. Together with the power supply, a multiplexer is placed whose purpose is to control the color and intensity of the light, together with the multiplexer we will connect various signal amplifiers that allow us to feed several meters of LED strip without voltage drop.
- the textured light tiles object of the present invention have the possibility of being cut both longitudinally and transversely without impairing their light functionality. After a small modification to recover the mechanical consistency, the new cut tile can work normally.
- control of the color and intensity of the light coming from the textured light tile in its two possible connections, can be carried out by means of a computer system or any similar device connected to the regulation means.
- FIG 1. Shows the textured light tile, object of the present invention, in an exploded perspective view.
- FIG 2. Shows the connection of the tiles in a wide assembly, such that a floor or the like, where Fig.2a shows the connection of an insulated tile and Fig.2b shows as an example the connection of tiles for the covering of an area of 30 m 2 .
- FIG. 1 shows a textured light tile, object of the present invention, which is characterized in that it comprises a base or support (1), on which electronic lighting means are assembled ( 2), in this practical embodiment, electronic lighting means or LED strip or the like.
- This distribution is configured to enable a perfect distribution of light and color.
- Both elements, support (1) and lighting means (2) are covered by a transparent or translucent enclosure (3), textured and resistant to stress mechanics
- the usefulness of this surface is to cover floors, walls and ceilings for both interior and exterior decorative applications, and whose characteristics allow the change of color and light intensity while maintaining the appearance of texturing, such as wood, stone, sand, between other examples.
- connection for a single tile shown in Fig. 2a
- connection for a coating of a type surface in the example shown in Fig. 2b
- floor of 30 m 2 it is necessary to differentiate between the connection for a single tile (shown in Fig. 2a) and the connection for a coating of a type surface, in the example shown in Fig. 2b , for a floor of 30 m 2 .
- connection system is for an insulated tile (FIG. 2a)
- the connection will be made through a power supply (4).
- Said source (4) is connected to the LED strip (2), through a multiplexer (5), for this practical example, configured to control the color and intensity of the light.
- the LED strip (2) is connected at one end to the multiplexer (5), by means of a watertight connector, the opposite end being free.
- the textured light tile, object of the present invention is provided with means of assembly by contact, configured for non-permanent joining of a plurality of tiles, both longitudinally and transversely, as non-limiting examples of bonding between tiles, it is possible quote:
- Bolted union The union is made by mechanical fasteners such as screws, bolts etc.
- - Clip union The clip has a contact anchoring solution of a male and a female geometry.
- the union or separation of a piece by clip allows an advantageous non-permanent type of connection as it is Quick and easy and only requires the introduction of two auxiliary profiles for the assembly. In the outdoor application, the geometry of the two auxiliary profiles is significantly modified so that the pieces can be separated enough for the water to drain.
- connection system When the connection system is for a set of tiles, as shown in FIG. 2b, the connection will be made through a power supply (40) configured to connect, through a plurality of signal amplifiers (60 ).
- a multiplexer (50) is presented, for this exemplary embodiment, whose purpose is to control the color and intensity of light.
- the power supply (40) is connected in parallel with a plurality of amplifiers (60), up to a maximum of five, since said amplifiers (60) feed up to ten meters of LED strip (20) without drop tensile.
- the LED strip (20) will be connected at one end to the signal amplifier (60) and at the other end, connected to another LED strip (20), until a maximum of strips (20) not exceeding ten linear meters.
- each 10 meter strip will be connected at one end to the signal amplifier and at the other end does not require any connection.
- Five signal amplifiers depend on each power supply and 10 meters of LED strip depend on each amplifier. Therefore, from each power supply we can take up to 50 meters of LED strip.
- connection thus described is a practical embodiment of the connection of the invention which, however, can change in its measurements depending on the efficiency of the electronics used.
