Abstract

A presente invenção pode ser utilizada como medicamento antitumoral para tumores dependentes de testosterona, em particular o câncer de próstata. O invento é um composto molecular constituído por moléculas de testosterona ligadas quimicamente a um átomo iodo radioativo (I-124, 125 ou 131) quimioterápico e cuja finalidade é combater tumores dependentes de testosterona, em particular, o câncer de próstata, eliminando o indesejado efeito colateral dos compostos quimioterápicos conhecidos de destruição de células de crescimento rápido como as dos glóbulos brancos. A principal contribuição da invenção é a utilização da testosterona como carreador do quimioterápico. Em particular utiliza-se uma molécula de testosterona ligada quimicamente a um átomo de iodo radioativo seja ele o Iodo-124, 125 ou 131.
