Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und- ein Verfahren zum Starten eines in einem Fahrzeug angeordneten Verbrennungsmotors (10). Hierfür sind vorgesehen: eine elektrische Maschine (24, 24'), die dazu ausgebildet ist, den Verbrennungsmotor (10) zumindest zeitweise anzutreiben, und eine erste Speichereinheit (28, 28', 50), die dazu ausgebildet ist, elektrische Energie zu speichern. Außerdem ist eine Einstelleinheit (26, 26') vorgesehen, über die die elektrische Maschine (24, 24') mit der ersten Speichereinheit (28, 28', 50) verbindbar ist, wobei die Einstelleinheit (26, 26') dazu ausgebildet ist, zumindest einen definierten Verbrennungsmotorbetriebszustand und/oder zumindest einen definierten Fahrzeugbetriebszustand zu erfassen, und zumindest in Abhängigkeit des erfassten Verbrennungsmotorbetriebszustands und/oder des erfassten Fahrzeugbetriebszustands eine elektrische Größe einzustellen, die eine beim Antreiben des Verbrennungsmotors (10) von der elektrischen Maschine (24, 24') aus der ersten Speichereinheit (28, 28', 50) entnommene elektrische Leistung bestimmt, oder die entnommene elektrische Leistung selbst einzustellen.
