エアフレッシュナー
 本発明は、エアフレッシュナーに関し、特にトイレなどの空間に設置して薬液の効能を持続して漂わせるエアフレッシュナーに関する。
 従来、芳香あるいは消臭によってトイレなどの空間のエア環境を好ましい状態にするエアフレッシュナーが開発されている。すなわち、空間に芳香剤を噴霧する芳香器や芳香装置、あるいは、消臭剤を噴霧する消臭器や消臭装置などがこのエアフレッシュナーに該当する。
 上記の芳香器や消臭器の場合は、単に芳香剤や消臭剤を容器内に充填しただけである。例えば、芳香器では芳香剤を自然蒸発させて発散させるので、室内空間に部分的に芳香の強い所ができたり、芳香の弱い所ができたりする。特に、広い空間の場合は芳香が空間全体に均一に行きわたりにくい。その点は、消臭器の場合も同様である。
 上記の問題を解消するため、例えば、特許文献1では、一般家庭のトイレのような狭い空間はもとより、ホテルやレストランなどのトイレのような広い空間においても、芳香剤や消臭剤が均一に行き渡るような工夫がなされた芳香装置あるいは消臭装置として使用できるものが開示されている。すなわち、吸込口と吹出口を有する本体ケースの内部に、液状芳香剤等を封入した容器を配置し、その容器内の液状芳香剤等が、本体ケースにおけるエアの吸込口と吐出口との間のエア流路部へ発散するように配置される。そして、エア流路部に配置される電動ファンの駆動により、前記吸込口から前記吹出口までの間でエアの流れを生じさせる。
 電動ファンが駆動すると、エアが吸込口からエア流路部へ吸い込まれる。そのエアは容器内の液状芳香剤等を強制的に蒸発させて発散させ、吹出口から外部へ吹き出す。そのようにしてトイレなどの室内を芳香で満たしたり、消臭したりする。

 特許文献1に開示された芳香剤や消臭剤を発散させる装置は、広い空間に対して芳香等を全体に均一に行き渡らせるようにする点では効果的であるが、容器から蒸発した芳香剤等の薬液を電動ファンにて外部へ吹き出すので、蒸発しやすい成分だけが先に消費されやすい。そのため、容器を設置した初めはよく芳香するが、時間の経過とともに芳香が薄れていくという問題がある。
 本発明は上記に鑑みなされたものであり、芳香剤や消臭剤などの薬液の効能を長期にわたり安定して作用させることができ、しかも広い室内空間に対して薬液を全体にできるだけ均一に行きわたらせることができる芳香剤や消臭剤等の薬液を噴霧するエアフレッシュナーを提供することを課題とする。
 上記課題を解決するため、本発明のエアフレッシュナーは、薬液が貯留された薬液容器に薬液チューブを介して接続された薬液ノズルと、前記薬液ノズルの吐出口の外部にて、エアを噴射可能に設けられ、前記薬液ノズルから吐出される薬液をミスト状で拡散させるエアノズルと、前記エアノズルからエアを噴射させるエア供給装置とを有することを特徴とする。
 前記エアノズルは、前記薬液ノズルの吐出口の外部であって、この吐出口からの薬液の吐出方向に対して略直交する方向からエアを噴射可能に設けられ、エアを噴射することにより、前記薬液容器の薬液を吸引して前記薬液ノズルの吐出口から吐出させると共に、吐出した薬液を拡散させる構成であることが好ましい。
 さらに、薬液供給装置を有し、この薬液供給装置により、前記薬液容器に貯留された薬液が前記薬液ノズルに供給され、その吐出口から薬液が吐出される構成とすることも可能である。
 前記エアノズルは、エアの噴射方向が、前記薬液ノズルからの薬液の吐出方向と略直交する位置関係となるように配置されていることが好ましい。
 前記エアノズルが斜め上方向に向けてエアを噴射するように配置されていることが好ましい。前記エアノズルは、そのエア噴射角度が水平方向に対して30度~60度斜め上となるように配置されていることが好ましい。前記エア供給装置は、制御部によって駆動時間が制御される構成であることが好ましい。前記エア供給装置の駆動時間は、照度を検出する照度センサによって出力される信号に基づいて制御される構成とすることもできる。
 本発明によれば、薬液ノズルから吐出される薬液が、エアノズルから噴射されるエアに接触する。このエアは好ましくは水平方向に対して斜め上に向けて噴射される。その結果、前記薬液はエアノズルから噴射するエアと衝突し、薬液が微細なミストになる。薬液のミストは、エアノズルから噴射するエアによって遠くへ吹き飛ばされる。すなわち、薬液ノズルから吐出される薬液は、その薬液ノズルの外部においてエアによって遠くへ吹き飛ばされるので、薬液ノズルから吐出される薬液はいつでもそのほぼ全ての成分が拡散されることとなる。また、薬液は薬液ノズルの外部でエアと衝突する構成であるため、薬液のミストは極めて微細となり、長時間にわたって空中を漂わせることができ、薬液の効能が広いエリアで長持ちすることになる。
 また、エアノズルは、そのエア噴射角度を水平方向に対して30度~60度斜め上に向けていることが、薬液のミストをよりいっそう遠くへ飛ばして拡散し、空中に漂わせることができる。
 制御部は、例えばエアの噴射の時間をタイマでセットすることによって、所定の時間になると自動的に薬液を噴霧することができる。さらに、デパートのトイレなどでは夜間の利用はほとんどないため、照度センサを設けることによって、暗くなってきたらエアの噴射駆動を停止し、所定以上の明るさになったら駆動する構成とすることで、薬液の無駄をなくすことができる。
図1は、本発明の一の実施形態のエアフレッシュナーにおけるノズル部を含む要部の構成を説明するための図である。 図2は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの内部構成を示した図である。 図3は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの内部構成を示した図であって、ノズル部を構成するエアノズルと薬液ノズル、薬液容器、薬液チューブ、コンプレッサ、エアチューブ、制御部の配置関係を示した図である。 図4は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの外観を示す斜視図である。 図5は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの外観を示す正面図である。 図6は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの外観を示す背面図である。 図7は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの外観を示す平面図である。 図8は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの外観を示す底面図である。 図9は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの外観を示す左側面図である。 図10は、上記実施形態のエアフレッシュナーの外観を示す右側面図である。 図11は、本発明の他の実施形態のエアフレッシュナーにおけるノズル部を含む要部の構成を説明するための図である。
 以下、本発明の一の実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。
 本実施形態に係るエアフレッシュナー10は、図2に示すように、背側に位置する背部カバー20と、下カバー30と、上カバー40とで略箱型形状をなしている。その略箱型形状の内部に収納されるものとして、電源となる2個の電池11、液状の芳香剤や消臭剤などの薬液LMを封入した薬液容器12、薬液LMを噴霧するノズル部50等を備える。
 図2及び図3に示したように、前記背部カバー20は、その上部に、前記ノズル部50を支持するノズル支持部材21が設けられ、ノズル支持部材21の下方には、前記薬液容器12を支持する上部棚部22が設けられる。上部棚部22の下部には電池ボックス23が設けられ、該電池ボックス23に電池11が配置される。また、電池ボックス23に取り囲まれた範囲の背部カバー20寄りに、コンプレッサー54が配設されている。なお、これらの配置はあくまで一例であり、図面に示したものに限定されるものでないことはもちろんである。
 背部カバー20の支持される上部棚部22及び電池ボックス23等に、上記のように薬液容器12や電池11等が配設された状態で、それらの前面及び両側面を覆うように下カバー30が着脱可能に設けられる。
 一方、前記上カバー40は、下カバー30の上方側を覆うもので、背部カバー20及び下カバー30に着脱可能に設けられる。また、上カバー40は、側面から見て、後方から前方に向かって下方に傾斜するように湾曲するように形成されており(図9及び図10等参照)、前方壁には、ノズル部50から噴射するミスト状の薬液が通過して外部へ噴霧するための噴霧口41が形成されている。
 また、上カバー40の内側には、制御部70を構成する制御基板と、周囲の照度を検出するための照度センサ13が取り付けられる。その照度センサ13は図1に示すように制御部70に電気的に接続されている。上カバー40の上部壁の後方寄りには、前記照度センサ13が臨む照度センサ窓42が形成されている。
 次に、本実施形態の主要部をなすノズル部50について詳述する。ノズル部50は、図1に示したように、斜め上方向に向けてエアを噴射するエアノズル51と、薬液LMを吐出する薬液ノズル55とから構成され、上記のように上カバー40の前方壁に形成された噴霧口41に臨んでいる。また、エアノズル51と薬液ノズル55とは、それぞれの軸線に沿った配置方向がほぼ直交するように配置される。また、エアノズル51から噴射されるエアが薬液ノズル55の吐出口55a付近を通過するように配置される。より詳細には、薬液ノズル55の吐出口55aの外部であるが、該吐出口55aにエアノズル51のエア噴射口51aが近接するように配置される。
 前記エアノズル51は、エアチューブ52(エア供給管)を経てエア供給装置53へ連通している。そのエア供給装置53は、コンプレッサ54を備えてなり、必要に応じて組み込まれている制御バルブ機構(図示せず)を経るなどして、エアチューブ52を介して必要なエア(圧縮空気)を供給する。エア供給装置53を構成するコンプレッサ54は、制御部70と電気的に接続され、制御部70の制御信号を受けて駆動する。
 また、前記エアノズル51は、そのエア噴射角度θを水平方向に対して30度~60度斜め上に向けていることが、ミスト状の薬液(ミストM)をよりいっそう遠くへ飛ばして空中に漂わせる点で好ましい。特に35~55度、さらには45度に設定することが望ましい。上カバー40に形成される噴霧口41にエアノズル51及び薬液ノズル55が臨むように配置されるが、エアノズル51のエアの噴射方向に、該噴霧口41が開口するように設けられることはもちろんである。
 前記薬液ノズル55は、薬液チューブ58(薬液供給管)の一端に接続されている。薬液チューブ58の他端は、薬液容器12内に挿入され、薬液LMに接している。なお、薬液LMとしては、上記したとおり、芳香剤や消臭剤が用いられる。
 次に、ノズル部50の動作について説明する。
 エアノズル51には、エア供給装置53のコンプレッサ54が駆動することにより、エア(圧縮空気)が送り込まれ、水平方向に対して斜め上に向けたエア噴射角度θにてエア(圧縮空気)が噴射される。なお、本実施形態のように照度センサ13を設けている場合には、所定の明るさになっとことを照度センサ13が検知すると、制御部70から制御信号が送られてコンプレッサ54が駆動する。
 エア(圧縮空気)が噴射されると、薬液ノズル55の吐出口55aが上記のようにエアノズル51のエア噴射口51aに近接しているため、薬液ノズル55の吐出口55a付近の外部を、薬液の吐出方向に対して略直交するように、すなわち横切るように該エアが通過する。それにより、薬液ノズル55の吐出口55a付近が負圧になり、薬液容器12の薬液LMが、薬液チューブ58を介して吸引され、薬液ノズル55の先端の吐出口55aから吐出される。薬液LMは、薬液ノズル55から外部に吐出されると同時に、吐出口55aの直前を通過するエアノズル51から噴射されるエアが衝突する。すると、薬液LMはミスト状となり、好ましくは30μm以下にまで微細化されると同時に、エアノズル51から噴射されるエア圧力に応じて、上カバー40の噴霧口41を通過して外部へ吹き飛ばされて拡散される。なお、エアノズル51から噴射されるエアの噴射圧力を上げると、薬液のミストMはさらに微細化される。
 薬液LMは、上記したように、薬液ノズル55の吐出口55a付近の外部をエア(圧縮空気)が通過することによって、薬液チューブ58を介して薬液容器12内から強制的に吸引されて吹き飛ばされるので、従来のように薬液LMの中の特定の成分のみが拡散するようなことが少なくなり、従来より長期にわたって、所望の薬液効果を安定して発揮させることができる。また、噴霧した薬液のミストMは微細化されて吹き飛ばされるため、長時間にわたって空中を漂うことになり、例えばホテルやレストランなどのトイレのような広い空間においても、芳香等の薬液効果を全体に均一に行きわたらせることができる。
 また、制御部70では、例えば薬液LMを噴霧する駆動時間をタイマでセットすることによって、所定の時間になると自動的に噴霧する構成とすることが好ましい。一方、本実施形態のエアフレッシュナー10が例えば公衆トイレなどに設置される場合、人が使用しない時間帯は噴霧する必要がない。そこで、前述したように照度センサ13を設けることによって、暗くなってきたら噴霧駆動を停止し、所定以上の明るさになったら噴霧駆動する構成とすることで薬液消費の無駄を省くことができる。
 図11は、本発明の他の実施形態の概略構成を示した図である。上記実施形態と同じ部材については同一の符号で示している。この実施形態では、薬液容器12と薬液チューブ58(薬液供給管)との間に薬液供給装置59を介在させた点が上記実施形態と異なる。薬液供給装置59は、薬液容器12内の薬液LMを供給する薬液ポンプ61を有しており、この薬液ポンプ61の駆動により薬液チューブ58を介して必要な薬液LMが吐出される。前記薬液ポンプ61はモータ62にて駆動され、そのモータ62は制御部70へ接続されている。
 これにより、薬液供給装置59の駆動によって、所定量の薬液LMが薬液ノズル55の先端の吐出口55aから強制的に吐出される。そして、薬液ノズル55から外部に吐出された薬液LMには、前記エアノズル51から噴射されるエアが衝突する。その後は、上記実施形態と同様に、薬液LMはミスト状となり、好ましくは30μm以下にまで微細化される。微細化された薬液のミストMは、エアノズル51から噴射されるエア圧力に応じて、上カバー40の噴霧口41を通過して外部へ吹き飛ばされて拡散される。なお、薬液LMの薬液ノズル55からの吐出は、上記実施形態のように、薬液ノズル55の吐出口55a付近を負圧にすることで強制的に吸引される構成とすることが、構造が簡易であるため好ましい。但し、コンプレッサ54の性能、すなわち、エアノズル51から噴射されるエアの圧力によっては図11のように薬液ポンプ61を利用した構成とすることもできる。

Claims (8)

  1.  薬液が貯留された薬液容器に薬液チューブを介して接続された薬液ノズルと、
     前記薬液ノズルの吐出口の外部にて、エアを噴射可能に設けられ、前記薬液ノズルから吐出される薬液をミスト状で拡散させるエアノズルと、
     前記エアノズルからエアを噴射させるエア供給装置と
    を有することを特徴とするエアフレッシュナー。
  2.  前記エアノズルは、前記薬液ノズルの吐出口の外部であって、この吐出口からの薬液の吐出方向に対して略直交する方向からエアを噴射可能に設けられ、エアを噴射することにより、前記薬液容器の薬液を吸引して前記薬液ノズルの吐出口から吐出させると共に、吐出した薬液を拡散させる構成である請求項1記載のエアフレッシュナー。
  3.  さらに、薬液供給装置を有し、この薬液供給装置により、前記薬液容器に貯留された薬液が前記薬液ノズルに供給され、その吐出口から薬液が吐出される構成である請求項1記載のエアフレッシュナー。
  4.  前記エアノズルは、エアの噴射方向が、前記薬液ノズルからの薬液の吐出方向と略直交する位置関係となるように配置されている請求項1~3のいずれか1に記載のエアフレッシュナー。
  5.  前記エアノズルが斜め上方向に向けてエアを噴射するように配置されている請求項1~4のいずれか1に記載のエアフレッシュナー。
  6.  前記エアノズルは、そのエア噴射角度が水平方向に対して30度~60度斜め上となるように配置されている請求項5記載のエアフレッシュナー。
  7.  前記エア供給装置は、制御部によって駆動時間が制御される構成である請求項1~6のいずれか1に記載のエアフレッシュナー。
  8.  前記エア供給装置の駆動時間は、照度を検出する照度センサによって出力される信号に基づいて制御される請求項7記載のエアフレッシュナー。
